06/10/2025: Great pizza, excellent service.

06/09/2025: I was there for the first time, the artisanal croquettes were excellent, the pizza was well leavened, light, even if not to my liking because I prefer it more crunchy than soft, but all in all good, the waiting times were a bit long, nice location.

30/11/2025: First, the substance: delicious fried foods, sandwiches, and pizza made with top-quality ingredients. The pizza, in particular, is always well-topped and made with a well-leavened dough that's very light and easy to digest. I only took a bite of one of their sandwiches and would definitely return for a whole one because it was truly excellent, with a soft bun, generous toppings, and exquisite meat. Of the desserts, I only tried the cheesecake, but it didn't strike me as anything exceptional. My only two criticisms are that the place isn't bad... but it's a large, simple room not particularly well-decorated. With the bustle of Saturdays, it's difficult to chat with other diners. I'd recommend a makeover and some acoustic treatment with sound-absorbing panels. My final criticism is the staff: young and friendly, but not enough to serve so many tables! Let me be clear, even on Saturdays during peak hours, I've never waited more than an hour for food, but it's still difficult to catch him to order or even ask for an extra bottle during the meal because they're always busy. Finally, the prices are reasonable and in line with the local average: highly seasoned dishes can cost up to €15, as is fair, while simpler dishes can cost even less than €8. In short, highly recommended, especially if you don't visit on a Saturday!

16/02/2026: I bought some Valentine's Day sweets, but unfortunately I was disappointed. I expected something more special given the occasion, but the flavor was rather ordinary, nothing different from a regular countertop sweet, and honestly not up to the asking price. Furthermore, the price seemed truly exorbitant: a small heart sold for a whopping €7. Also, one of the two hearts was so hard it was difficult to even cut with a knife, which further detracted from the experience. I understand the occasion and the attention to presentation, but the quality-price ratio, in my opinion, is inadequate.

I simply called to cancel a reservation and, instead of receiving a polite or professional response, they hung up on me without even letting me finish speaking. This is disrespectful and unacceptable behavior toward customers. I will definitely not return and I strongly advise against this place to anyone looking for reliability and respect.

08/01/2026: We had a set menu lunch, excellent food, nothing is left to chance, excellent appetizer, excellent hot tastings, the two tastings of first courses really well cooked, good mixed meat cooked well and to finish fruit and dessert already plated, an excellent rosé wine, we ate everything, even the menu for good children, they ate everything, which in my opinion was the most important thing, not like others do that the children's menus seem like hospital meals, well done the head waiter attentive and attentive to all the guests, good and nice the girl serving at the tables, but anyway well done to everyone... Salvatore always makes you feel at home with his immense helpfulness and kindness. Excellent value. A true gem in Paternopoli!

09/12/2025: Looking for Neapolitan pizza outside Naples? Yes, in Baiano, Pizzeria Pulcinella offers an excellent selection of pizzas and also food. The first time I tried the pizza, it was worth it for its digestibility, ingredients, and dough. Recently, I also tried the grilled meat, which I absolutely loved. All at affordable prices. Definitely recommended!
