04/09/2025: ...we love Cetara, so we're there whenever we can...whether it's summer or off-season...Same beach, same sea, same bar...At most, we vary the cocktail/drink selection at aperitivo time (today Campari Spritz and Hugo, but special mention goes to the "GARUM" and the accompanying platter of delicacies: tuna, anchovies, marinades, anchovies in oil, bread rolls, crostini...). The staff is young and always professional. Cristina was serving us again today, as often happens, and she guarantees the same quality and authenticity as everything listed above. Always top-notch! 24/08/2025: A true gem in Cetara, much more than just a bar I've known Gennaro, the owner, for many years, and it's thanks to him that, after a spring visit, we chose Cetara for our summer vacation. Known to all as "Cicerone," Gennaro is truly a go-to for anyone who wants to discover and experience Cetara and the Amalfi Coast to the fullest. Thanks to his help, we found a cozy apartment just steps from the sea at a more than fair price: from August 19th to 24th, we felt right at home. Bar Che Remi is much more than a bar: • perfect for starting the day with breakfast overlooking the sea, • ideal for a mid-morning aperitif, • excellent for lunch with delicious, light dishes, • in the evening, the unmissable pinza (pizza) of any flavor. Always delicious and light. After dinner, the atmosphere becomes unique: carefully crafted cocktails, a gin and tonic list with over 400 labels, and a true bestseller, the Cetara Garum Sour, an anchovy-based cocktail that perfectly captures the spirit of the place. Prices: Pinzas run around 8-9 euros, while drinks average around 8 euros, depending on the line you choose. The Garum, the best-selling drink, costs 12 euros. Traditional breakfasts, such as cappuccino and croissant, are available. A cappuccino costs 2.50 euros and a croissant costs 1.30 euros, just like any bar. It should also be noted that, if you become a regular customer, the staff always shows a special regard: during our week-long vacation, we were able to take advantage of a special discount. Plus, it's the only place on the Amalfi Coast that offers a rare detail: wet wipes brought to your table as soon as you finish eating, a simple gesture that truly makes a difference. The location, just steps from the historic Tower of Cetara, makes every evening evocative and unforgettable, especially in the company of friends. 28/08/2025: A great lunch experience with a friend. We were passing by and hungry. They welcomed us despite the late hour. We ate very well. The Sant'Agata appetizer was delicious. We tried the eggs with cruschi peppers and the cavatelli with tomato and provola cheese. Everything was excellent. Two desserts and coffee. Everything was perfect. The prices were more than fair. The staff was courteous and attentive.

31/08/2025: The food was delicious, except for the slightly overcooked seafood spaghetti. The place was tiny but welcoming, beautifully colorful, clean, and comfortable, reflecting the sunny side of our region. We had a set menu for €40 and another for €30. It's best to go midweek, though, as there's plenty of choice. The tiny bathrooms have uneven tiles.

31/08/2025: Nice atmosphere, good food, but I had a plate of spaghetti and clams that tasted salty and starchy, not clams. I spent €25 for a plate of pasta and a bottle of water. I think it's more expensive than the reviews suggest, considering that a first and second course would easily cost €40.

24/08/2025: I went there this evening for my daughter's first birthday. We had a plentiful meal with excellent quality food. The place and staff were excellent, but even more excellent were the owners, Antonio and Vincenzo, who were very professional and always had a smile.

21/07/2025: We came here on purpose and found exactly what we were looking for: delicious drinks, a nice atmosphere in the evening, local life until late into the night, plastic chairs with Napoli jerseys (generally a lot of SSC Napoli decorations in and around the entire bar 👍🏻) and very friendly service.

01/09/2025: This is the first place I ever ate when I was stationed at the Base nearby. I got a seafood pasta, and my mind is absolutely blown! Five years later I’m eating here again and I’m just not impressed because it’s possible to eat so much better. I ordered a steak that was very gamy in flavor and while it advertised as €22 it ended up being €40. The salad only came with lemon to squeeze over the top, so it was very green tasting, no oil, salt, or other dressing. The impressive looking hamburger that my husband ordered was supposed to be rare but instead they just put tomato paste inside… Making it look a little bit pink, but it was completely cooked through and the patty tasted strongly of tomato paste. I asked for fries instead of roasted potatoes, but I receive roasted potatoes. This is not a language barrier problem, I speak Italian. There was only one other table being served, so they were not slammed for business. The upside is, they are open in the month of August. The downside is the corners that are being cut, really took the joy out of lunch.

26/07/2025: Abbiamo fatto 1 aperitivo e devo dire che la qualità e' scesa. Il drink di per sé non era male, ma la stuzzicherks ha lasciato molto a desiderare. Solo 1- 2 pizzettine e qualche pallina di fritto vuota. Ne qualche oliva, ne qualche cotto che non sia fritturina scarna e insapore....boh, non ci tornerò più! In giro c'è di meglio!!

25/06/2025: And what can I say about this bar? Nothing too nice at all and above all it makes super good and always fresh doughnuts with any ingredient.

28/08/2025: Very good meat and vegetables. It took an hour to get two burgers on two plastic plates and plastic cups. After another 20 minutes (about an hour and a half from ordering), we finally received three sandwiches made with flatbread, not rolls—one mini, one mega, same order, different portions. I'm sorry, but for five of us, two of us ate first (after an hour of waiting), the other three after almost an hour and a half. When you're going out for dinner, the best part is eating together. Too bad it took an hour and a half for five sandwiches. 0.75 water, not even 1 liter. Medium fries were 5.50, but they were mini portions. Some items were reasonably priced, others were outrageous given the service and the plastic plates and cups.

24/08/2025: A wonderful experience despite the wait. I should start by saying that the staff had some difficulty with the weather, which resulted in some delays and slow service. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but it's a shame we had to wait quite a while even just to get drinks. But that didn't detract from the evening; the atmosphere was so welcoming, serene, and calm that we barely noticed the time passing. The waitress was very kind, preparing the baby's food even before we had our table. The food is excellent, tasty, home-made, and of the highest quality, which is why I can't help but give it 5 stars. We've promised ourselves we'll return as soon as possible! But be careful about parking... we had an unpleasant incident with our car, which we parked about 100 meters from the old cellar, practically in front of another business that probably can't handle the flow of people who regularly park there but instead head straight for the old cellar.

27/08/2025: It's a crime for Italy to eat such dry focaccia with burger sauce inside. Really very disappointed. A word of advice, don't order any! On the other hand, I'm sure their ice cream and pizzas are good according to other reviews. The servers were friendly, however I hate being jumped on when I look at a menu but hey it's probably their job so there's no harm in it. The atmosphere was great and a plus for the free peanuts. Good luck.

04/09/2025: Reviewing Villa dei Fiori with mere compliments would be an understatement. A dear friend of mine and I stayed here for almost a week, and I can honestly say I felt at home. Antonio is a wonderful person: he treated us almost like his own daughters, with kindness, respect, and even a hint of warmth. He made our vacation unforgettable. The waitress was also incredibly sweet, always ready to answer my countless requests and questions with patience and helpfulness. The landscape is breathtaking, the villa is enchanting, and the food... simply delicious. I left a little piece of my heart here. Coming home, which is always wonderful, was a little more difficult this time. One of the most beautiful surprises was meeting Nerino (I didn't want to give him a name so as not to become attached, but here we are). He's a black kitten, with a slightly different paw, but he jumps, runs, and accepts cuddles like all affectionate cats. It was special to hold him in my arms. I will miss him so much. I ask only one thing of you: love him. He truly deserves it. And Antonio, promise me you'll take care of him. Nerino will always be in my heart. I hope to return soon. Thank you for this wonderful week. It was truly a pleasure staying at Villa dei Fiori.

22/08/2025: Stayed for one night in transit. Nice and well-appointed rooms, although the mattress was a bit too soft, but pleasant. The lady who welcomed us was very kind, as was the waitress at the pizzeria. The pizza and breakfast could be improved, and the prices are a bit on the low side.
