17/10/2025: Impeccable from day one - Sublime Pizza As promised, here I am with a top-notch review (well deserved) for my favorite pizzeria. I've been a loyal Vanacore customer for over four years now. When we say "tonight's pizza" on Saturdays, that means Vanacore. The pizza is evenly cooked, truly beautiful, and every bite is an explosion of flavor, including the crust, whose crunch (unique to Vanacore) never gets old. The selection of ingredients (of the highest quality) is made with the utmost care, and they are cooked to perfection to ensure a perfect final balance of flavors. The ingredients on the pizza are plentiful, never too many or too few. The menu changes seasonally, and each time they create unique flavors (which is a shame when the menu changes a little 😂). The service is excellent; everyone is very friendly, kind, and pleasant, open to giving and receiving advice, and attentive to their customers. I can confidently say that in these four years there's never been a mistake, not even a single word like "a part of the crust was a little burned" or that the pizza disappointed me a little. 22/08/2025: Anyone who gives less than 5 stars is acting in bad faith... we had a great time, the food was authentic, the pizza was spectacular... we only had one problem with the fries; some of them arrived with coffee... and we still ate them!!!! Well done! Congratulations!!!! Anyone passing through these parts and not going to La Botte is missing out!!!

As soon as you walk through the door, you're greeted with a warm smile by Alphonsina, an exceptional woman who puts her heart and soul into everything she does. The dishes are simply delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors reminiscent of the real Italy. Each bite is a culinary journey, full of generosity and love. The atmosphere is friendly and makes you feel right at home. Alphonsina deserves every praise for her talent and kindness. An INCREDIBLE experience! Thanks to Joël as well.

10/10/2025: This little restaurant is a true gem, an oasis of peace near the beating heart of Taormina. The garden is beautiful, a secluded retreat offering a magical and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding from the chaos and enjoying the moment. The cuisine is incredible and exceeded every expectation. In particular, the busiate alla norma was "incredible." The shrimp was also exceptional, incredibly sweet and fresh, a testament to the quality of the ingredients used. A must-visit for those seeking high-quality cuisine combined with an enchanting and intimate setting in Taormina. Highly recommended!

27/09/2025: When in Italy do as the Italians do! Have a morning espresso at the bar and then come back for a pastry with hot filling and a cappuccino later. No tourists just the Italians loved it and Marco is a great waiter.

If you're in a hurry, it's not for you, but if you want to spend a quiet, unforgettable day, it's highly recommended.

29/10/2025: Had a delicious pizza. Friendly waitress. However, the bright white lights and the TV on the wall didn't exactly make it feel inviting.

18/10/2025: On our way back to Calabria, we stopped for a break. The place was lovely, and the people were very kind. The food was excellent and authentic. It's a shame it was evening and we couldn't enjoy the view of the town. We'll definitely do it again. See you soon.

08/10/2025: We stayed for three nights at the Villa Lubrense for the last part of our honeymoon and can't recommend it enough. Amidst the bustle of the Amalfi and the rest of the Gulf, this hotel is quiet and restful and would be great for both a weekend retreat or a longer-term stay. Its location is unbeatable, with amazing views of the Gulf, Vesuvius and Naples. There is a small, rocky beach that is about a 15 minute hike down the rock face. By the beach are a few restaurants (the one we went to had the best pasta we had in Italy). It's also easy to get to the Bagni Regina Giovanna (a must-see and worth the 30 min walk from the Villa - or 20 mins if you take the bus to Capo) and to Sorrento (about 15 mins by bus which costs 2 euro and comes every 20 mins). If you feel comfortable renting a scooter, it would definitely be recommended, as the bus is not fully reliable - make sure you note where the bus stops are. Overall we had no issues though. I also want to specifically thank Fabiola for the wonderful service. After a difficult day (and a mistake on my part) we arrived late and Fabiola stayed late and picked us up herself - it saved our honeymoon and I'll always remember the gesture!

02/10/2025: The complex is beautiful, our room was not good, lots of background noise and old, breakfast was often simply empty, a ten-minute wait for a roll, sausage out... If you love breakfast, it's terrible. ADDITION, ADDITION: For the last three days, a different person has prepared breakfast, and lo and behold, there was sausage and eggs... The response to my hotel review, that we were late for breakfast, is not true; we were at breakfast between 8:10 and 9:30.

24/09/2025: My husband and I decided to try this place today. We chose it literally 15 minutes before arriving based on good reviews. The place itself is beautiful, but very small. There were plenty of empty seats, but the waiter seated us right next to other guests—no more than a meter between tables. We said nothing and sat down. We ordered a wrap (€8), a burger (€10), fries (€4), and two beers (€5)—a total of two. My wrap was very poor quality: about three small pieces of chicken breast, the bacon was low-quality, almost all fat, and had an unpleasant odor. They added tomato slices, lettuce, and mayonnaise sauce. I ordered the fries because the menu said they were oven-baked, without seasoning. But they brought me potatoes generously sprinkled with oregano, even though it wasn't on the menu. I hate oregano and had to scrape every bite with a napkin to even get a bite. My husband's burger was served sloppily, "fallen apart," even though the kitchen was just a few meters away. Unlike my meal, the bacon was too tough. The beer wasn't draft at all, but regular store-bought. In the end, the bill came to €37. This is a completely unreasonable price for such quality. We can easily pay €500 for dinner if the food is well-prepared and up to standard. But this is a clear discrepancy!!! I'm Asian myself, have lived in various countries for a long time, and my husband is Italian, a gourmet, and a great lover of cooking. We have a good understanding of food, from street food to Michelin-starred restaurants. Therefore, I believe that such establishments are misleading people and serving low-quality and unhealthy food at inflated prices. I believe it is necessary to complain to the relevant authorities. This looks like a scam.
