I cannot emphasize how good of a find this was. Clean beautiful property. All the staff was truly amazing, and they were supportive in anything we had requested. We will definitely come back, this is our new favorite vacation spot. Ps. Since there is one main road, rent a scooter or a small car if you want to visit the beautiful area.

We spent two nights at Hotel Villa Lubrense, and loved it! Beautiful room with a beautiful view, a bit away from the busy-ness of the city. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes outside of Sorrento city center (I’d recommend renting a car or taking a taxi from the Sorrento station—it’s a bit challenging to get to from public transport) and only 5 minutes from Massa Lubrense, a small town with quaint shops and a few restaurants. This place gives you a more local, less touristy feel! Service at the hotel was excellent. Staff was helpful in recommending local activities and giving tips. Definitely go for a breakfast-included package—you’ll get a lovely meal with beautiful ocean views. Tino and Fabiola were so wonderful!

29/06/2026: We were warmly welcomed. The staff was quite helpful. Only at the restaurant were we snubbed for a table of rowdy people. Guests pay the same and are all equal. The beach staff was excellent.
27/06/2026: You can usually tell within a minute whether a restaurant is happy to see a table of fifteen. We walked in straight off a boat, sunburned, hungry, and carrying just enough sea salt to season lunch ourselves. The welcome couldn’t have been warmer. The view earns its reputation, but once the food started arriving it stopped competing for attention. The seafood linguine was rich without being heavy, the seafood tasted as fresh as you’d hope, and the calamari fritti was the best I’ve had anywhere. I’m not sure that’s a title it will give up anytime soon. Big portions, kind people, and cooking that feels like someone genuinely cares who’s sitting at the table. That’s a combination worth coming back for.

20/05/2026: Authentic Italian cuisine. Perfection!
17/05/2026: The pizza is very delicious and the choices of pizzas available are overwhelming. Many different tastes and all very creative. The ingredient are really fresh and the pizza extremely well cooked. We took the Contadina and the DOC. The contadina: the artichoke cream was incredibly tasty and the pairing with the speck absolutely fantastic. Taste is very well balanced with tendency to salty (because of the speck). The DOC: is a margherita with the buffalo mozzarella. Both, mozzarella and tomato paste were extremely tasty and fresh. The add on of a very small buffalo mozzarella in the middle of every pizza is a really nice touch. The dough is very well done and easy to digest.
