19/11/2025: Very disappointing: I went to this restaurant, which is so widely promoted on social media as excellent, but the reality is very different from what they want people to believe. Aside from the nice and welcoming location and the kind staff, the rest is very poor. Dishes with little flavor and unbalanced seasoning/gross errors of concept (such as the tuna tartare, therefore a crudité, placed under the hot pasta, thus losing all its peculiarities, or the baked potatoes that tasted only of garlic, inedible, never seen anything like it), etc. etc. Not to mention the prices, such as the second course (I attach a photo) swordfish, 4 small pieces with a little orange and fennel, 25 euros 😳 when in the best restaurants it doesn't cost more than 18/19 euros, or the octopus, 3 micro pieces over 26 euros. That said, 4 first courses, 3 second courses, a side dish, and only 2 bottles of water came to €205. For €250, I've eaten in much better restaurants, especially those with more courses. I'm sure they'll tell me I'm wrong and that they've had a lot of positive reviews. I wonder how that's possible, given the low quality of the food.

03/11/2025: Good quality food, service too, prices not exactly cheap but not very expensive either, shame about the decor which definitely needs modernizing, but we were told that there is already a renovation project and it is definitely worth it.

20/10/2025: We came for lunch, and I must say the girl who served us was very kind and friendly, as well as giving great advice. You absolutely have to try the first course: spaghetti with clams and pesto! Truly delicious!! 😍 Or the authentic Roman carbonara! ❤️

25/10/2025: My girlfriend and I had a lovely evening at Ristorante Collemare. We received a warm welcome. Unfortunately, since the end of October is the end of the season, they ran out of pizza. Instead, we both had a delicious pasta dish with fish. Compliments to the chef. The tiramisu was homemade and we absolutely loved it. We would come back anytime.

23/10/2025: Excellent food and friendly service. We had two dinners at this restaurant. We enjoyed pizzas, meat and fish dishes and excellent desserts. Highly recommended!

01/07/2025: An excellent restaurant for dinner in the area. Very pleasant atmosphere with a rustic taste. Not a very extensive menu but all the ingredients are top quality and fresh. Even the pasta seems to be homemade and not packaged. In particular, I recommend the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms among the first courses, they really have an excellent overall balance. The pizza is no exception; the dough of the latter is really light with excellent leavening (zero digestion problems). Even for the pizza, very fresh ingredients are used. I recommend the "Tropeana", a perfect expression of the flavors of the area. This restaurant was my reference for three nights in a row, without making me feel the need to look for something else. Recommended. I will definitely return on my next stop in the area.

13/03/2025: We have been going to the Locanda three times now and every time it is a fantastic experience! Chef Rosario is always kind, creative and super available for our every need! The menu is a discovery of traditional Calabrian flavors accompanied at the same time by many other creative and innovative dishes from the chef. Finally, the impeccable service and the welcoming atmosphere make the Locanda the perfect place for a lunch or dinner with friends. In short: always a guarantee

30/09/2025: They immediately offered us a table outside, even though it was quite chilly at the end of September. The food was excellent; the tuna with Tropea onions was truly delicious. The service was both professional and humorous. Being in a pedestrian area, parking isn't the easiest thing...

24/07/2025: Beautiful setting with very friendly service in a family atmosphere. Excellent food, stunning views, and a Zen garden that truly offered peace and relaxation. A private beach with loungers and a bar, very clean sea, and a beach bar. Everything was perfect. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

16/10/2025: Accommodation is good, menu sounds good but is factually incorrect. Wine and food are mediocre to terrible. It's better to walk 10 minutes to Tropea and find a good trattoria.

30/08/2025: Lido la costa degli dei is a beach where people go to have fun with their children and relax enjoying their holidays. Go there but I recommend you bring sea shoes with you, the sea is beautiful.
