25/04/2025: SEMEL ET NUMQUAM ITERUM Unfortunately I will not return, I am forced to put a series of one. Terrible service, long waiting times, the owners are not Italian therefore they are not familiar with the language and this causes a lot of boredom. Then, as in most restaurants in the area, when you enter: interrogation and scanning: who you are, where you go, what you bring... and then to complicate things there are no written menus, you never know exactly how much you pay and what you eat.

18/05/2025: Con mia moglie abbiamo festeggiato il battesimo di nostra nipote. Il locale fa anche da bar e tabaccheria. Dispone di diversi tavoli. Abbiamo mangiato molto sia i primi che i secondi, e tutto in abbondanza. Ottima la carne servita sulla pietra lavica. Consiglio a tutti di pranzare o cenare in questo locale. Nel locale è possibile mangiare anche prodotti tipici del Monte Poro. È possibile parcheggiare nelle immediate vicinanze. Personale di sala molto gentile. Il locale funziona anche da pizzeria. Consiglio a tutti di visitare questo locale per la qualità e quantità!

25/03/2025: Excellent Pub, I often go there with my wife and children, cheerful and welcoming place, the sandwiches and beers are excellent as always and the service is always courteous and fast.

23/02/2025: I go to eat at the bulldog pub very often and I must say that I am always very satisfied. The staff is very welcoming and the menu offers a vast selection of craft beers and amazing sandwiches such as the one with octopus or parmigiana. I absolutely recommend this place!

30/09/2024: Reservamos nuestra visita a través de la página web y nos avisaron que nos enviarían el menú la noche anterior para ver si todavía queríamos ir. ¡Claro que sí! El menú sonaba delicioso y la oportunidad de escuchar, discutir y probar los maridajes de vinos con la comida era imperdible. ¡No nos decepcionaron! Fuimos recibidos por Michele que nos mostró a nuestra mesa (fuera en una terraza preciosa con el sonido del mar a solo unos metros de distancia). Explicó que estaríamos probando una serie de platos regionales junto con lo que consideraron el mejor maridaje de vinos. Los platos llegaron a un flujo constante junto con el vino y nos encantó a todos. Por supuesto, los platos contenían un ingrediente único de la región: la cebolla Tropea, que hacía que cada plato supiera como algo que no había probado antes. La oportunidad de discutir cada plato / vino con Michele fue tan buena y aprendimos mucho de su conocimiento. Conocimos a Romana, la esposa de Michele y su hija. Lo que nos dio la oportunidad de agradecer a Romana por hacer los platos tan maravillosamente. Fue un asunto familiar basado en el amor y esto se produjo en la comida y el vino. Bien hecho Michele y Romana. Le deseo suerte en su restaurante y espero que mucha gente pueda probar la forma en que la cocina italiana debe saber.

18/09/2024: Mi padre y yo estábamos visitando Calabria para ver los pueblos de donde venía nuestra familia. Pasamos un par de días en Tropea, y Osteria della Cipolla Rossa fue lo más destacado. La comida era increíble - vino y comida. Era arte verdadero y delicioso. ¡Tan talentoso! Una experiencia única para aprender más sobre la historia de la región a través de la comida. Toda la familia era maravillosa. No puedo recomendar esto lo suficiente. La experiencia bien valió la pena, y un recuerdo duradero. ¡Esperemos que tú también lo disfrutes! Logísticamente, envíe una nota a su correo electrónico. Ofrecen clases de cocina o maridaje de vinos con alimentos. Hicimos lo último. Van al mercado cada mañana (no use refrigeradores, cocine fresco ese día) , por lo que el menú cambia todos los días.

28/04/2025: A real scam! I ordered swordfish, they served me what you see in the photo, cut into almost transparent slices! Without tasting anything due to its thinness, I asked for a little pink onion and put it on top to give it some flavor. I was starving, I went out and had to go eat again at another restaurant. Disappointing.

19/05/2025: What a great find in the heart of Pisa’s old town! I was traveling with my young daughter on our last day in Italy. We arrived in Pisa tired and hungry, and after a walk to the Tower, I was desperate for a good, reasonably priced meal. We passed on two other restaurants due to the high prices—understandable given the location, but my budget was already tight. Then we came across this gem—not far from the Tower, with outdoor seating and just the right amount of shade. The waiter, I wish I had caught his name, greeted us immediately, quickly found us a table, and chatted kindly to my daughter in Italian while I took a moment to settle in. I ordered the carbonara, and my daughter had tomato pasta. They offer a kids’ menu at half price and brought her a coloring book right away. The bill—for both pastas, a large bottle of water, and a coffee—was barely €22. The food was delicious. I didn’t expect much from the carbonara, but I finished the whole plate—and so did my daughter! The waiter was an absolute star. He checked on us just enough, gave us space to relax, and didn’t mind me trying out my broken Italian. He truly made our last day in Italy a lovely one. If the waiter happens to read this: we were at table 2 on the 19th of May—a mum with a little blonde-haired girl. Thank you for your kindness!

Prodotti freschissimi e di qualità, ricette della tradizione(spaghetti con le alici come una volta) e con ispirazioni più moderne(seppie su crema di piselli e tonno con cipolla divini). Il ristorante è incantevole dentro (ricavato da un antico deposito con una cupola di mattoni particolarissima) e fuori(sul mare), servizio con i giusti tempi, personale attento e gentile, proprietario sorridente e disponibile. Ottima cantina. DA PROVARE E DA TORNARCI!!! Valentina

12/05/2025: I absolutely recommend a visit to this restaurant in Marina di Pizzo. This is the second time I've eaten here. On the first one I was inside and on this last occasion I was outside. There were two of us and we ate spaghetti with anchovies, grilled calamari on pea cream and Mediterranean swordfish. Very good dishes. I found a high level of preparation and excellent raw materials. The portions were correct, almost abundant. The accompanying bread was also very good. The service, then, was quick and accurate, never intrusive. Fair prices and adequate for the quality of the menu. A note of merit also goes to the background music, always at a level that does not disturb the conversation. Parking, in the April/May period, not difficult.

05/04/2025: Nice and welcoming pastry shop. Very high quality throughout. In particular for my taste for Baba' and Savarin, cheesecakes and semifreddos, Sicilian cannoli and small fresh pastries... always a real pleasure to meet Rosario's wife, Iole... professional and attentive.
