09/10/2025: A very nice restaurant with an outdoor seating area located in an elegant little square. The food and wine selection are decent. The service is fast and professional. The quality/price ratio is average.

03/10/2025: I planned an afternoon in Pizzo (a very pretty town) and after careful research on restaurants, I decided to book at "La Ruota." It was a perfect choice. The location gets top marks—very beautiful, unique, and welcoming. The food was delicious. We ordered the "La Ruota" appetizer, tagliatelle with pistachio pesto and shrimp, and fried calamari. Fresh ingredients and generous portions. Very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

26/09/2025: We stumbled upon it today while looking for a place to savor the authentic local food that was always on our table when we were still here in Calabria, and it was a pleasant discovery: delicious, plentiful, and perfectly cooked local dishes, a very kind owner, impeccable service, and more than fair prices. If you want to eat traditional home-cooked food in a rustic setting overlooking a stretch of the Calabrian coast, where time slows down, almost denying the frenetic pace of daily life, this is the perfect place! Thanks again for everything, and see you next time!

26/09/2025: The food is excellent, from the local appetizers to the seafood dishes. The seafood appetizer is especially delicious, generous portions.

07/10/2025: I went with my wife and son in September for dinner in the ancient cave. The seafood appetizer smelled bad and tasted nothing like seafood. The octopus was transparent and smelled bad—you couldn't tell it was octopus carpaccio; it was literally transparent, like tissue paper. The rest was anything but anything that reminded you of the sea. Everything was frozen and poorly treated. Parmigiana was the sore point!! It wasn't parmigiana, but a mixture of boiled eggs drowned in tomato sauce. I don't think they even know what eggplant parmigiana is; there were only boiled eggs. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me; it was a TERRIBLE experience that's hard to undo. They have no idea what Italian or Calabrian cuisine is. What a shame! These people were improvised and had never worked in a kitchen!

23/08/2025: A pleasant and surprising evening at Fabbrica Enoteca Ristorante, in the heart of Vibo Valentia. The food was good value for money. On the owner's recommendation, we had the pleasure of tasting an excellent Pecorello Ois, a native Calabrian grape that won us over with its structure and personality. A wine that speaks of Calabria in every sip. The location is truly evocative: industrial-style furnishings, with iron and wood details creating a modern, welcoming, and refined atmosphere. A perfect balance between design and conviviality.

Back in the UK and very busy Just wanted to say that our night with you was one of the (if not the most) amazingly beautiful culinary experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived , we were made so welcome. Your stories, explanations of everything we tasted, Calabrian culture and history were fascinating , inciteful and wonderful The wines were incredible, as was the pairings with the most delicious but humble food. Simply blew our minds, how incredible simple foods done with love and passion can taste and look. The attention to detail, taste, combinations were just world class but more than that so real , so embedded in Calabria and with heart We cannot recommend you more . We have been to some incredible restaurants around the world but this will remain unforgettable and we will remember your warmth, hospitality, wine, food and love forever. Tus historias, explicaciones de todo lo que probamos, la cultura y la historia de Calabria fueron fascinantes, incitadoras y maravillosas Los vinos eran increíbles, al igual que los maridajes con la comida más deliciosa pero humilde. Simplemente nos dejó boquiabiertos, lo increíbles que pueden saborear y verse los alimentos simples hechos con amor y pasión. La atención al detalle, el gusto, las combinaciones eran solo de clase mundial pero más que eso tan real , tan incrustado en Calabria y con corazón No podemos recomendarte más.
