28/10/2025: Top-notch artisanal gelato The exceptional Tartufo di Pizzo is highly recommended. The staff are extremely polite and true professionals.

24/10/2025: Went here because of the many excellent ratings. Cannot understand the good ratings though. We had four Tartufo and were deeply disappointed. Taste was good but the Tartufo completely disintegrated on the plate before we even received the plates: just a melting ice cream mass on a plate, not the nice round ice cream ball you are used to. We went to other ice cream shops in the region but never had such an experience. Seems old and partially dirty as well. Would not go there again.

05/10/2025: We had dinner at this beautiful and romantic location in mid-September. We were craving some good meat! We found a delicious, high-quality burger and an excellent green peppercorn fillet! We chose to ask for two glasses of red wine, and the advice was greatly appreciated! We highly recommend it.

28/09/2025: We visited this charming restaurant with some very dear American friends. We ordered several dishes, including steaks and gourmet burgers with a variety of well-matched and delicious ingredients. My only comment is that a small side dish should be included with the gourmet sandwich, as the price of the sandwich is rightfully high. Recommended!

The chef's signature dishes are sophisticated, with carefully balanced flavors – fine portions, just enough to enjoy the taste without anything extra. Impeccable service, elegant plating. I recommend with confidence for those who appreciate quality, good taste and stylish culinary experiences.

02/11/2025: Lovely place, top-notch food and service. The waiters were very kind and attentive. We had a discount on TheFork, but since we chose the tasting menu, they notified us when ordering that it wouldn't be available, and I appreciated the transparency. The food was excellent; the tasting menu allows you to sample a variety of dishes in appropriate portions (many appetizers, some very unique). By dessert, we were full but truly satisfied. I highly recommend it, and I'll be back as soon as I can.

07/10/2025: I went with my wife and son in September for dinner in the ancient cave. The seafood appetizer smelled bad and tasted nothing like seafood. The octopus was transparent and smelled bad—you couldn't tell it was octopus carpaccio; it was literally transparent, like tissue paper. The rest was anything but anything that reminded you of the sea. Everything was frozen and poorly treated. Parmigiana was the sore point!! It wasn't parmigiana, but a mixture of boiled eggs drowned in tomato sauce. I don't think they even know what eggplant parmigiana is; there were only boiled eggs. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me; it was a TERRIBLE experience that's hard to undo. They have no idea what Italian or Calabrian cuisine is. What a shame! These people were improvised and had never worked in a kitchen!

28/09/2025: The food is good, but this is my third time there, and the vegetables listed on the menu are never there: They only serve grilled eggplant and zucchini, and the mushrooms for the steak are, I believe, canned. Wild herbs, never seen before.

15/11/2025: Fast and polite service. Excellent pizza, well-topped with top-quality ingredients and a light dough that won't leave you feeling heavy or thirsty all night. Excellent desserts

20/11/2025: The food and drinks were great! The staff was watching the game Juventus vs Torino, distracted but fun to watch with the locals. Really yummy pizza. We were off season so quiet.

11/11/2025: The food was very good, as was the service and prices (November). We ordered homemade pasta with Tropea onions and stuffed squid. The squid (video in the file) was amazing. I'll be back for it again and again. The "Tartuffo" dessert wasn't worth the price, although very good; one piece is more than enough for two people. My overall rating: Worth coming back here, the best restaurant in Tropea :D

23/10/2025: There were six of us, and we ordered different dishes: some pasta, some pizza, and a cured meats appetizer for everyone. We were very happy, we really had a great time. Highly recommended.

Back in the UK and very busy Just wanted to say that our night with you was one of the (if not the most) amazingly beautiful culinary experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived , we were made so welcome. Your stories, explanations of everything we tasted, Calabrian culture and history were fascinating , inciteful and wonderful The wines were incredible, as was the pairings with the most delicious but humble food. Simply blew our minds, how incredible simple foods done with love and passion can taste and look. The attention to detail, taste, combinations were just world class but more than that so real , so embedded in Calabria and with heart We cannot recommend you more . We have been to some incredible restaurants around the world but this will remain unforgettable and we will remember your warmth, hospitality, wine, food and love forever. Hopefully we will meet again Peter and Wendy

Tus historias, explicaciones de todo lo que probamos, la cultura y la historia de Calabria fueron fascinantes, incitadoras y maravillosas Los vinos eran increíbles, al igual que los maridajes con la comida más deliciosa pero humilde. Simplemente nos dejó boquiabiertos, lo increíbles que pueden saborear y verse los alimentos simples hechos con amor y pasión. La atención al detalle, el gusto, las combinaciones eran solo de clase mundial pero más que eso tan real , tan incrustado en Calabria y con corazón No podemos recomendarte más. Hemos estado en algunos restaurantes increíbles en todo el mundo, pero esto seguirá siendo inolvidable y recordaremos su calidez, hospitalidad, vino, comida y amor para siempre. 02/11/2025: We stayed for two days in November. Our room was large and clean with a beautiful bathroom and a side sea view. The breakfast buffet was excellent and varied. The reception and common areas were always open. Large and clean. The location is excellent, facing the sea.
