27/08/2024: Per il secondo anno consecutivo siamo stati in vacanza a Tropea e con molto piacere siamo tornati a mangiare in questo magnifico posto. Partiamo con la cosa più importante: Il servizio eccellente rapido e con molta professionalità e attenzione verso i clienti. Cibo eccellente, a partire dall’antipasto Manitta e un menu completo di carne e pesce. Tutto molto buono con ingredienti indubbiamente di qualità. Consiglio vivamente a tutti di fare visita in questo ristorante. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Unico appunto ma del tutto costruttivo e ovviamente irrilevante, poco luminoso il tavolo, ma siamo capitati lontano dalle luci.

26/08/2024: Vorrei rispondere a Emanuela B. Dopo aver letto la sua recensione nonostante in spiaggia alcuni amici me ne avessero parlato molto bene, ero titubante ad andarci ma, alla fine mi sono fatta convincere e col nostro gruppo di amici abbiamo prenotato e siamo andati. Rimpiango di non esserci andata fin dall'inizio della vacanza, ma due volte che sono andata sono sufficienti per poter affermare che nessun cameriere versava lo stesso vino in più tavoli tenendolo sotto braccio ma al contrario posso affermare la grande professionalità di tutti i camerieri oltre alla loro simpatia. Il menù sia di terra che di mare (li abbiamo provati entrambi in due sere diverse), dire eccellente per tutto è veramente poco. Nessuna pietanza è arrivata tiepida, non abbiamo atteso molto, servizio impeccabile. I fileja di una delizia unica, la carne super buona, in tanti anni qui in Calabria ho trovato pochissimi ristoranti di questo livello e qualità. (Noi in vacanza la sera ceniamo sempre fuori) e cosa dire dei vini? Ottima la loro lista (il Mura Nera eccezionale) così come il vino della casa. Il luogo? Stupenda lochescion, posto da sogno dove trascorrere una serata indimenticabile. Non ho trovato una sola pecca, addirittura il titolare chiedeva ad ogni tavolo come si fossero trovati se avevano cenato bene, una premura che tutti i ristoratori dovrebbero avere. L'unico rammarico è non esserci andata prima grazie alla sua recensione che le consiglio di rimuovere, ma non mancherò di andarci al mio prossimo viaggio in Calabria. Spero che nessun altro si faccia influenzare da recensioni assurde. Andateci se volete mangiare bene e pagare un conto onesto. Secondo me e la mia compagnia merita il prestigioso riconoscimento di una stella Michelin.

03/08/2024: In a small piazza in Tropea right in the centre, a small bar with a cocktail lab, but with a magnificent seating area and a corner in front of the door of the former convent which is among the most coveted. Good choice of cocktails, aperitifs, spirits and bubbles all accompanied by appetizers. Attentive and truly friendly staff.

21/08/2024: Advised. As for the quality of the dishes, little to say, all starters excellent, both raw and cooked. Among the first courses, the linguine with lobster was very good, while the only real complaint about the risotto was the excessive quantity of oil which made it impossible to eat the second half of the dish. Also very good pizza. The service was a little slow between starters and first courses (25-30 min) but the place was fully booked. Nice and well-kept environment. Much superior to fish restaurants tried along the seafront.
