10/07/2026: Recommended to me by a Sicilian who lives in Pizzo, I have to say I was really pleased with everything. First of all, the dishes were very carefully prepared, well-cooked, and the portions were generous. I've been there several evenings for dinner, and the food and service have always been excellent. Centrally located, two minutes from the square, but on a quiet street where you can eat in a relaxed atmosphere!

The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm, and the service excellent.
A big thank you to Cristiana for her warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism. She made our day even more enjoyable with her excellent service and smile. I highly recommend this restaurant.
24/04/2026: We returned with my family because we had an excellent culinary experience, and they never disappoint. A must-visit very close to the Sanctuary of Natuzza Evolo. Everything was delicious. The owner, a welcoming and very kind gentleman, is one of the few who still manages to preserve typical Calabrian dishes and traditions. The appetizer was plentiful, and the homemade fileja was truly spectacular. The appetizer and main course were accompanied by plenty of wine and bread, all excellent ingredients, and the price was fair at less than €30 per person. We'll be returning often.

05/07/2026: The restaurant's simple decor, but its atmosphere immediately captivates. The staff is exquisite, kind, and truly welcoming—a true asset! The food is authentic, prepared according to traditional recipes: generous portions and truly excellent! The real highlight (in our opinion) is the homemade gnocchi, absolutely exceptional, as is the pappardelle with wild boar, truly delicious. Highly recommended!

03/07/2026: Truly an excellent place, with sublime local food and super friendly and helpful staff. Plus, our four-legged friends are welcome and have plenty of space to roam freely. Highly recommended.
28/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. What can I say? Excellent cuisine, exquisite owner, extremely kind and available to answer our every request. We enjoyed two octopus dishes (the place, Joppolo, is famous for its octopus dishes), in salad and with potatoes. EXCELLENT, TASTY, highly recommended. Prices are reasonable and the service is guaranteed.
Many of the products are fresh, home-grown, and the portions are generous. We'll definitely be back.

I had the Grilled Tournedos from Beef with truffle and sides, amazing!
Nice atmosphere in an alley and perfect service.
We really recommend a visit.

Giuseppe was very kind. I arrived without a reservation, but they gave me a table right away.
The food was incredibly fresh. I had the linguine with clams, mussels, and a swordfish main course; very tasty.
The prices were fair. We'll definitely be back.
13/07/2026: Trattoria serving traditional Calabrian cuisine in the heart of Vibo Valentia. Rustic, welcoming atmosphere, frequented mostly by locals. We had a wonderful meal, generous portions at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and fast service.

20/11/2025: Located right in the heart of Tropea's bustling old town, the restaurant's terrace is surprisingly peaceful. The menu focuses on fish, and we enjoyed a delicious sea bream baked in a salt crust. Our starter included the region's famous "Cipolla Rossa di Tropea" onions, prepared in three different varieties. The service was attentive and courteous.
01/11/2025: The service is nice and friendly...but the food is one of the worst I had in Italy... Definitely I will not come back

04/06/2026: My wife and I went for dinner two nights ago on the recommendation of our host (Mr. Antonio), and we were not disappointed at all. The service was extremely kind and courteous, the menu included a good selection of traditional dishes, and what we tried was delicious! The portions were just right (not small at all), and the final bill was in line with local standards for the time of year.
Important note: the restaurant has a decent selection of local wines and also offers a choice of glass, ideal if you can't finish the entire bottle.

27/03/2026: An excellent stay, far exceeding expectations. The rooms were renovated, clean, and, given the cold weather of March 2026, very warm. The staff was friendly, but especially the breakfast. A wide variety of cakes, all different and very fresh, with special attention to gluten-free and lactose-free options. And the coffee, not the usual ground coffee, but pods and a coffee machine.

28/11/2025: No idea. Showed up at opening time on 28 Nov and they were locked up. Website and Instagram said nothing about seasonal closings, Google profile said they should be open. Nothing. Menu had been removed from display. Assume closed for season, but some signage or notification would be grand. Maybe update your own website, Google, Instagram or Facebook notification? Asinine lack of communication from a high rated establishment. Unfortumatly this is not the only instance of this, just the one that was directly impacting my family having a meal. Please communicate better.
