02/11/2025: Beautiful and charming location in the heart of Tropea. But I really can't say enough about the deliciousness of the food I tasted. I didn't go for typical products, but for classic seafood and meat dishes. I don't recommend the seafood appetizers; they're really nothing special. The ravioli with shrimp and scallops were good. Otherwise, everything was normal, with excessive prices. The wait for the food was exaggerated, despite the good service and numerous staff. Worth a look.

30/10/2025: Found on a recommendation. The charming atmosphere begins right at the entrance, where you stand on a glass platform overlooking the old wine cellar. The tables are well spaced. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and conversation. Luckily, we reserved a table. Very attentive service. Delicious bread served in a paper bag. The €2 cover charge is reasonable. Good selection of typical Italian dishes. We enjoyed the food, and the meat was exceptionally tender.

20/11/2025: Located right in the heart of Tropea's bustling old town, the restaurant's terrace is surprisingly peaceful. The menu focuses on fish, and we enjoyed a delicious sea bream baked in a salt crust. Our starter included the region's famous "Cipolla Rossa di Tropea" onions, prepared in three different varieties. The service was attentive and courteous.

08/10/2025: I was invited to a graduation party at this restaurant, and it was a great experience! The location is perfect, very easy to reach from the highway, and spacious with a large outdoor space with a glass wall. Excellent service and delicious food!

25/10/2025: At lunchtime, we deliberately drove off the road to this restaurant for the pizza that was advertised. The service was unfriendly and completely uninterested in communicating in any language (English, German, Spanish) other than the local one. Using sign language and a dictionary on his smartphone, the waiter explained that pizza was only available in the evenings. We decided to stay anyway, and that was a mistake. One of the dishes we ordered – Tagliolini al ragu (ragu is the name of a meat sauce made with slowly simmered meats, usually beef and pork) – was pasta with leftover sausages and hot dogs. The food was terrible, and the service was rude. We definitely recommend avoiding this place.

23/11/2025: A very characteristic restaurant nestled in the alleys of Tropea. Typical local cuisine with reasonable, affordable prices. You can dine here even in autumn, when the touristy town still offers some sunny days. The interior is tastefully furnished.

10/10/2025: Beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. We got a table outside, and it was great. We ordered carbonara, which was delicious and very filling. The house wine was delicious. The price was fair for the atmosphere and food. I recommend it!

09/10/2025: A disgrace. The restaurant is called What's Amore, but there's no love or respect for the customer here. We came with my daughter for lunch and ordered the raw seafood: the oysters weren't fresh, had a bitter taste, and smelled bad. When we asked to change them, the waitress said "that's just how they are" and brought another—the same and inedible. The pasta with clams? First overcooked, then raw. After two attempts, we gave up. The mixed fried fish was also almost inedible, with the bitter taste of old, unrefreshed oil. In the end, almost 80 euros for a bad meal and arrogant service. When I complained, the waitress said she "didn't want to talk to us." What's Amore? No love, just disappointment.
