19/09/2025: We chose San Domenico for our last evening here and it could not have been a better choice. We had the vegetarian degustation menu and even as someone who usually eats meat, it was amazing through and through. Each course was crafted with immense love and detail which was noticable with eye and tongue. Service was perfect, food was perfect - I'm still amazed a day later! What I liked especially was the indirect lighting on the outdoor terrace. It was a beautiful setting for an evening filled with good food and wine. We will absolutely come back!

27/09/2025: It's like walking into a boutique rather than a Chinese store (no offense, it's just a figure of speech), in that quality makes a huge difference. The color of the chicken on display at the counter is certainly not what you'd see in any supermarket. And then there's the experience, professionalism, and good taste of the owners, who select not only the meat, but also the preparation that makes it unique. Try it and believe it. The bill? The difference certainly justifies the quality.

28/11/2025: Super nice owner, very accomodating! The arancinis and pizza were unexpectedly blah. A Thursday evening at about 1830, out of season being late November. We got the last of the arancinis, and our pizzas were made to order. But none were anything special. Dissapointingly. But, maybe it was our timing.

15/11/2025: Good pizza. I think you should work on the dough. It was a bit dry. The topping definitely worked well.

02/11/2025: Thank you for our stay! Although it was a last few days before complete season closure we had a wonderful experience! Food is great, rooms are perfect! Very easy parking and beautiful seaside! One small improvement points: pls try to offer memory foam and/or ergonomic pillow options. Unfortunately I got bad neck hurtings from the pillows🙈 All in all we had a wonderful time! Thank you!🥳😍

27/10/2025: Great resort! We stayed there as a family. We were kindly upgraded to a 4-bed room (off-season). The beach is great. The sea is turquoise/azure. We saw lots of fish. The food was good. The staff is very friendly. We were able to book a tennis court during the off-season without any waiting time. We will definitely visit again. Side note: Tropea is only a 15-minute drive away.

13/11/2025: A charming place, with incredibly kind and impeccable staff. We had a very intimate wedding at Popilia. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, and the wedding planner who manages the weddings at the property, Merilù, made our wedding unique and special. She was available for discussions and planning, and immediately put us at ease. I highly recommend this resort because it is well-maintained and takes great care of its guests.

30/09/2025: I'm sharing my very positive experience! We were four of us at this restaurant on July 11, 2025. The welcome was typically touristy, but the restaurant actually offered impeccable service, good food, and excellent value. It's a shame about the portions, which were really small.

19/10/2025: “Incipit” is almost a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy High Street and tourist-heavy areas. This spot comes highly recommended by locals — and for good reason. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over the piazza, but the real wow factor comes when you choose to dine indoors… in the cave! Yes, a beautifully lit, cosy cave with an incredible atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is fantastic, offering a perfect mix of local favourites and creative twists. We went all out and enjoyed the full experience: antipasto, primo, and secondo. The tuna tartare was outstanding, bursting with freshness and flavour. I had the Fileja al ’Nduja ragu, which was absolutely mind-blowing — and high on my Calabria culinary wish list. My partner chose the hazelnut risotto, which was equally exceptional. For mains, I had the pistachio-crusted seabass while my partner had the cod — both dishes beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience away from the tourist traps. Grazie mille per il fantastico servizio 🙏👌👏

16/10/2025: Excellent restaurant, very tasty, top-notch service. We stumbled upon it by chance; we had a reservation at Alice's. It was a very lucky coincidence, though.

15/11/2025: Today we had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant. We couldn't have asked for anything better, starting with the service, continuing with the wonderful location, and being delighted by the excellently flavorful dishes. It will be a pleasure to return.

19/09/2025: Beautiful setting and fantastic lunch. A little difficult to drive to but if you are doing the Grotto, short walk and right on the path.

25/09/2025: We stayed in a residence not far from the fish market, and the manager recommended this place to us. Over our 8-day vacation, we ate there at least 4 or 5 evenings because we had such a great time. The fish was excellent, fresh, and well-cooked. From appetizers to main courses, there's not a dish I wouldn't recommend. The owners were truly friendly, down-to-earth, and helpful (and especially dog-friendly, which isn't a given). If you're in the Zambrone area (a 10-minute drive from Tropea), go eat there—it's worth it!

18/10/2025: Nice restaurant with a good wibe. The owner and staff were really nice and presence. We had both different kind of meat and vegetarian meals and it was all good. So a good experience and we are considering going back again to try some of the other dishes. Definitely recommendable.

18/10/2025: My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend in a wonderful, peaceful location, just a short distance from Tropea. The staff were very professional, extremely kind, and helpful. The food was excellent, plentiful, and above all, of high quality. They also offer gluten-free options for celiacs. An experience we'll definitely repeat. We also recommend it to families with children because it has an outdoor play area and a swimming pool.
