30/09/2025: I'm sharing my very positive experience! We were four of us at this restaurant on July 11, 2025. The welcome was typically touristy, but the restaurant actually offered impeccable service, good food, and excellent value. It's a shame about the portions, which were really small.

10/03/2026: We just returned from our experience at Popilia this weekend (March 7-8). We had a SPA dinner and an overnight stay... Let's start with the positives, and it's not to be underestimated, as there were many. Starting with the breathtaking walkway, the very well-maintained facility, and in fact, the aesthetics of the interior and exterior would have been five stars for me... After the two-hour spa, I must unfortunately say that was one of the sore points... The spa was certainly well done, but not completely... Let me explain... The pool area is very narrow, and the thing that bothered us was that there were too many people in an otherwise fairly small facility, but let's move on... Dinner after the spa and breakfast the next day were average, with certainly affordable prices. A special mention goes to the first courses at the on-site restaurant, where I really enjoyed the small plate I ordered with squid ink. As for the breakfast, it was adequate but lacking in choice, and above all, I was annoyed to see that, for example, we had to make our own cappuccino using the machine provided. If a guest comes and sleeps overnight at the hotel, breakfast should be a very important matter, with meticulous attention to detail. Let's move on to the negatives (besides the spa), which prompted us to give it 3 stars. After dinner, unfortunately, there was nothing to do, no games room or anything to entertain ourselves, and it's a shame, as the place is located on a hill, making it difficult to get around in the evening. I understand the need for tranquility, but perhaps for younger guests, having a recreational/play area for the evening (such as a games room) would have been helpful. This is more of a recommendation than a criticism. The outdoor areas are very nice, but even there, it's a bit lacking because you can get bored after a while, as the entire place can be explored in about an hour. It's true that there are activities, including tennis, soccer, and a fitness area, but I repeat, at least on weekends, there should be something recreational after dinner. It's certainly not disruptive or invasive, but at least for those who want to spend the evening/night, it could be a good idea. The rooms were excellent, very clean, and the temperature was comfortable. The overall price was affordable. Overall, an experience worth repeating. I'd like to point out that these aren't criticisms, but rather recommendations.

18/03/2026: Pisa 🇮🇹 Santa Maria A charming café in Pisa, the experience was unforgettable! The Aperol was incredibly delicious, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. The aperitif included juicy, aromatic olives that simply melted in your mouth. And a plate of fresh, crispy chips with pieces of cheese. The café itself is stunning in its beauty: cozy outdoor tables and soft sunlight create the atmosphere of a truly Italian idyll. The service is attentive and friendly, and every detail is thought out to ensure guests feel comfortable. This place is a true paradise for connoisseurs of delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere.

11/03/2026: A welcoming location with masonry finishes and a fireplace typical of a mountain restaurant. Service is available to meet various needs. In our case, the appetizer was made with locally sourced produce, with the addition of fried mushrooms for a touch of quality. The first course consisted of classic pappardella with porcini mushrooms. Everything was delicious and well-made. The price was reasonable: approximately €25 per person.

11/02/2026: A wonderful discovery just a stone's throw from Serra San Bruno is the Taverna dei Borboni. The restaurant is tastefully and elegantly furnished, and the service is excellent. Let's move on to the food: what can I say? I had homemade fagottini with butter and sage. Believe me, they were a riot of flavors. The first course was top-notch, well-cooked, with just the right amount of cooking and simple yet well-blended ingredients. For the second course, I had a grilled meat platter, where the veal, sausage, and pork were tender and cooked to perfection. Good value for money.

10/09/2025: Delicious croissants with generous fillings, bought almost every night for breakfast the next day and because they're so addictive. The ice cream is also no joke, and it's delicious, too.

08/04/2026: In the first place, we ordered tea but we got only hot water. There was also a hair on the pizza. At the end we ordered the typical dessert tartufo. We got a completely different thing and it was just a frozen lemon ice cream. The staff was flirting with women the whole time. Overall, the food was mid and we didn’t even get what we ordered.

16/03/2026: I have to admit, I haven't had such a perfect steak in a long time. It was tender, juicy, and medium rare. The sides were delicious, as were the burgers. We left very satisfied. Friendly, helpful service, and a pleasant atmosphere and decor.

17/03/2026: Service was too slow. Portions of vegetarian meals are too small. It was a 5-course meal dinner, and it took 5 hours to serve these. Though the order was already pre-ordered, still had to wait so long for each course. Ravioli was undercooked and had too much salt. Risotto's rice was undercooked. Lasagna with zucchini and potato, Cabbage/Lettuce with mushroom sauce, cake were okay.

08/03/2026: Hidden in the backstreets of Tropea, this local restaurant serves delicious local food. The prices may not be the lowest, but it's worth it! The interior is small but atmospheric, and you can eat outside, but being off-season, the weather wasn't ideal for al fresco dining. The pasta with Lucius and mushrooms was simply exquisite!
