15/07/2025: We came here for dinner and tried the carbonara and gnocchi. Both were terrible! The spaghetti carbonara was basically scrambled eggs, and not creamy whatsoever. As well, the spaghetti was very undercooked and hard to eat. The gnocchi was just pasta and cheap tomato sauce, nothing else!
The staff weren’t the friendliest either, just not that welcoming. As soon as I put the last mouthful of food in my mouth the waiter rushed to collect my plate while I was still eating. Would have preferred them to let me finish chewing before rushing over to me.

Lamentablemente, incluso el helado es pobre en comparación con cualquier otro lugar que probé en Tropea. Simplemente tienen una gran ubicación para que la gente vea
Si quieres un buen helado. No pierdas el tiempo
No puedes comer atmósfera
Ganarás yendo a cualquier otro lugar de la ciudad
Revisé mi favorito btw.
En conclusión. Un cebo y cambio en su máxima expresión

14/07/2025: Grandioso. Vera cucina locale e piatti tipici. Fatti artigianalmente, una di quelle trattorie che speri di trovare quando cerchi un locale tipico. Trovati per caso e siamo felici di esserci fermati. Super consigliato:)
12/07/2025: Di solito scrivo una recensione solo se positiva, ma quando un cliente si lamenta e non riceve nemmeno una spiegazione o un "mi dispiace", allora forse con una recensione scritta forse viene ascoltato. Ho chiesto un piatto che nel menu viene descritto come "filetto di maiale con costine", invece mi è stato servito una carne che sembrava una braciola divisa in due, dura e piena di nervi, immangiabile. Non ho mai visto un filetto di maiale con l'osso. Le costine ovviamente erano metà grasso, quindi nel totale avrò mangiato l'equivalente ad una piccola bisteca. Oltre che dura la carne aveva un retrogusto di leggermente scaduta. Inoltre abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora per ogni piato. Il locale era pieno e ci sta un'attesa un po' più lunga, ma mezz'ora è tanto. Capisco che in un posto di mare si mangia meglio il pesce, ma allora forse è meglio lasciar perdere la carne. Ci hanno dato un sconto di 3 euro per l'accaduto...

20/07/2025: Servizio al tavolo molto lento, all esterno eravamo solo due tavoli.
Brioches TOP, Gelato buonissimo, uccide tutto il fatto che la brioches resta vuota perchè utilizzano delle micropalline (una per gusto), Distruggono cosi la qualita degli ingredienti non sapendo fare ne un cono gelato ne una brioches gelato (nel cono non mettono le palline). Capisco che è un di luogo di passaggio per turisti, ma per chi sa cos è un gelato come si deve, resta deluso! Se volete godervi l esperienza non andate oltre la coppetta.
17/07/2025: Durante la vacanza siamo stati due volte alla Marinella. Il gelato è favoloso così anche la brioche con il gelato. Anche il salato è buono (focaccia a trancio). Merita di andarci

Io sono stata in molte pizzerie napoletane ma questa la peggiore...bordo alto...bello all'apparenza ma poi mangiandola pizza con mozzarella fredda e appena appena sciolta. Bordo crudo all interno e bruciato fuori. Calzone con impasto tutto crudo.mai più. E in più abbiamo aspettato 50 minuti e quando ho detto che ne ne sarei andata è arrivata dopo 5 minuti
10/07/2025: Per la seconda volta in Calabria non mangiamo bene il pesce. Un piatto era buono, ma il secondo per niente. Segnalato subito, hanno preso ip piatto, lo hanno scaldato un po di più per poi riportarlo. Ma il pesce non era buono prima e non era buono nemmeno riscaldato. Unica nota positiva.. non lo hanno fatto pagare.

08/07/2025: Servicio amable con recomendaciones del menú. Elegimos dos platos de pasta que eran excepcionales, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que uno era una opción sin gluten. Muy buena relación calidad precio. Regresamos la noche siguiente porque disfrutamos mucho de la comida y del servicio.

Noi abbiamo preso i gelati ed erano davvero molto buoni.
14/04/2025: Posto in una delle piazzette principali, si può fare una pausa sui tanti tavolini all’aperto guardando la gente passare e godendosi Tropea.
La gentilezza e simpatia del personale compensa un toast un po’ bruciacchiato.

30/07/2025: Disappointing experience – poor food and zero customer service
We visited this restaurant in Tropea and, unfortunately, had a very negative experience.
The food was clearly frozen, but the menu was completely unclear: no asterisks next to the dishes, just a generic note at the bottom that said "some products are frozen." This lack of transparency was unacceptable.
The lasagna was inedible: watery, soft, and tasteless. The pasta was overcooked, completely lacking in structure and quality. The salad? Sad, with questionable-tasting olives that tasted like they'd been sitting in an open jar for too long.
The service was fast, yes, but completely lacking in information: no descriptions of the dishes, no recommendations, no minimal involvement. Just dishes brought and gone.
We politely expressed our disappointment to the owner, who, instead of listening or showing interest, responded condescendingly, saying that he thought everything was good. At the end of the conversation, he dismissed us with a cold, "Are you finished?"
An arrogant and disrespectful attitude that confirmed his complete disinterest in his customers.
A place to avoid; in a city full of genuine and welcoming options, this place is a sad example of how not to run a business.
