14/04/2026: Enchanting place! I spent a wonderful evening here, and having booked for an early dinner, I was lucky enough to get a table with a truly breathtaking view. The food was excellent: we had a mixed antipasto, plus a trio of onions and Calabrian pitta, and I must say I was impressed. Initially, given the restaurant's central location, I was worried it might be too touristy; instead, everything was delicious. The quality-price ratio, especially considering the location, seemed reasonable. For three of us, we spent about 80 euros.

23/04/2026: Last summer, we dined at Ruralia for five days during a two-week vacation. We tried other restaurants, but always came back to them. Typical products, cooked according to tradition, were very tasty. The ingredients and wine selection were excellent. Lorenzo, the owner, gave us excellent advice on the wine selection. Value for money? Unparalleled!

25/10/2025: We order a portion of chips, after 40 minutes he tells us that they would arrive, 20 minutes and the pizzas arrive but there is no sign of chips

07/06/2026: A place to forget, absent staff, no service, air conditioning at 40 degrees Celsius, you can't turn it on because they're making the rooms🫠 Insistent breakfast, Food in general, no comment But they charge for everything as if it were a 4-star hotel. I wouldn't even give it one star... Abandon all hope, you're coming in.

14/11/2025: A quiet pizzeria for a relaxing evening. The staff is friendly and offers decent service. There's a small indoor dining area where you can sit down and enjoy your meal without any hassle. It's located in the Pennello area between Vibo Marina and Bivona, on the main road that connects these two seaside resorts in the Vibo Valentia area.

08/11/2025: The atmosphere is very nice, the pizza is delicious and they bring it to you hot but not too hot.

13/05/2026: Very nice little restaurant in a side street, good food, friendly staff, good price, would gladly come again.

11/05/2026: They have 2,5 fee for every food you order, I do NOTA recommend. Even the food was not good.

05/06/2026: I was walking by the other day, and a lot of people were encouraging me to eat on plates. Despite the not-so-good reviews, we decided to give it a try. It's definitely worth it, I recommend it. Delicious food, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices.

28/05/2026: The staff were friendly even though we ordered relatively late and were the last customers of the day, they didn't rush us. The pizzas were delicious.

10/01/2026: Can't give any stars. Their website said they were open, so having wandered around in a storm in the dark we finally found a closed pub. Very disappointing. :-( Better if you keep your hours accurate guys. :-)

04/01/2026: Burnt sandwich, tasteless. Meat half the size of the sandwich. Sauces thrown in haphazardly.

22/10/2025: Disappointing experience. Unfortunately, my stay at Agriturismo Il Borgo sul Lago was very disappointing. The pool was dirty and poorly maintained, the mosquito nets were broken, and the air conditioning filters were completely dusty. Overall, the entire property lacked maintenance: old furnishings, poorly maintained spaces, and poor housekeeping. I also found animals in the rooms, which gave me a strong sense of neglect. The location and potential of the place are good, but it needs more careful and professional management: as it is, I would not recommend it.

23/09/2025: My experience was, unfortunately, terrible. Room cleaning was nonexistent: hygiene didn't seem to be a priority at all. I found hair stuck to the shower stall, yellowed fixtures, limescale buildup, and obvious mold. Comfort was zero. The mattress absolutely needed replacing: visibly decades old, stained, and completely sagging. It was impossible to even think of sleeping on it without wondering how much bacteria it might contain. Furthermore, the bed frame itself was literally collapsing: unstable and tilted to one side. Security also left much to be desired. The electrical outlets were exposed, unprotected: a moment could be enough to risk an electric shock. Finally, breakfast was truly poor and of questionable quality, with products that seemed substandard. In short, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. It's absolutely not worth the money and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

27/10/2025: Frozen seafood appetizers preserved in oil. Linguine full of oil. Seafood pasta full of oil but tasty. Desserts inedible. Fried fish generous and average. Pasta with tomato sauce acceptable.

11/03/2026: Here you can eat the real Pizzo truffle! They have many delicious gelato flavors...and if you want to give someone a sweet gift, they also have mini multi-flavored chocolate-covered croissants 😋 everything is delicious!

29/12/2025: Interesting selection and friendly service. Prices, however, are decidedly high for the portions: three miniatures for €4.50.

05/05/2026: In my opinion, the best pizza in the area. The ingredients are good and well-balanced. The dough is good, with just the right thickness and cooking time. The service is prompt, fast, and friendly. The prices are fair. Recommended.

24/04/2026: I'm giving it 1 star because I can't give it 0. We arrived at 7:15 PM and our order arrived at 8:20 PM. The owner delivered orders first to people who had come in after us. After 30 minutes, we asked if it was that long, and the owner raised his voice, saying he didn't have a magic wand to make the food appear and to wait, otherwise we'd leave without a refund. A friend of mine who has a problem with onions received a kebab with onions. She continued vomiting all evening. The owner lives in the clouds, placing orders as he pleases. I recommend avoiding this place if you don't want to leave the next day. A piece of advice to the owner: do some activities to calm your mind. I encourage everyone to write a review and not pretend nothing happened.

27/05/2026: This little beach bar and food spot was perfect. I got myself an nduja arancino and a local craft beer called Arri’ Criati. The arancino was fresh and crispy with a nice heat from the nduja. Atmosphere was good and I was able to get a seat. If you’re looking for something quick to eat while at the beach, this place is perfect!

20/05/2026: A wonderful spot with a stunning view across the Costa dei Monaci all the way to Tropea. An absolute insider tip for watching the sunset with views stretching to Stomboli. Very pleasant atmosphere.

17/05/2026: Location-wise, it's absolutely the best the overcrowded tourist town of Tropea has to offer. Amazing sea views and fantastic sunsets. The food, service, and atmosphere are perfect. This is reflected in the high number of visitors.
