Coctail Bar Tropea In Tropea

Great place. The sanitary facilities were a bit dated, but clean. We'd gladly come back.

A simple room with a bathroom and outdoor kitchen. It was fine for me. A pizzeria overlooking the beach, the sea, and the cliffs of Tropea.

We are just camper beginners - but we have already seen some places - but for somewhere to be so clean - especially in the south of Italy - that has never happened before for the price of 23€ / night. As for the facilities, it is a great luxury by the standards of southern Italy - the toilet is constantly looked after, hot shower included in the price, sorted waste, ... But what is exceptional about this campsite is its location - in the evening you watch the sunsets with the silhouette of Stromboli and a few steps above you is a picturesque typically Italian town with lots of services (bar, shop, restaurant). From the steps to the town you are separated by a one-way road, which was not noisy at all (April 2026). We did not even imagine such a place on our trip to Italy ♥️

A wonderful experience for our August summer vacation. We stayed for 5 days. Friendliness and kindness. Fair prices. Shaded pitches, accessible to campers even from 7 meters. Small but manageable beach. Bedrooms dated but clean (no toilet paper). They accept dogs...even on the beach.

This is the second campsite; it's at the end of the road. Frankly, compared to what we've seen, it's certainly not luxurious, but it's clean. A man comes by every morning to clean the restrooms; they're a bit worn, but still clean. The staff are very pleasant. It's very well located for the beach (direct access) and for visiting the town. For your information, we've been traveling for a month, so we've encountered some less than ideal, less clean campsites for this time of year.
