05/10/2025: We were visitors from Budapest and found the pizzeria accidentally in Parghelia. We ate pizza and drank wine,3 people. The food tasted good,the atmosphere was like home and the final sum was too low. The proprietor would deserve a higher income in our opinion.
It is a respectful pizzeria indeed.

29/10/2025: Beautiful venue right on the beach. Service was very nice. Some of menu items were not available for lunch which is understandable. We would recommend this restaurant for the view alone.
21/09/2025: I've had lunch twice at this restaurant with its enchanting view. I was on vacation with friends and would have returned several times given the quality of the food and the tranquility of the place, but we were mocked for tactical menu changes like,
"Oh! We don't have this seafood appetizer (20 euros) today, but if you want, I'll bring you octopus and marinated anchovies."
They didn't specify that they become two separate dishes, and you pay 20 euros for two tentacles and 20 euros for 8 anchovies.
So your seafood appetizer becomes a starred appetizer for 40 euros.
The receipt never arrived.
We were wrong not to ask for anything at the time, but we were on a happy, carefree vacation and only later realized we'd been a bit ripped off.

05/04/2026: My fiancé and I came here almost every day specifically for the arancini – we tried all the varieties. You can choose from vegetarian options with mozzarella and spinach (the spinach is barely noticeable, but the overall flavor is still great), with onions, with nduja, and with ragu. Each one is delicious and definitely worth trying, although they could be a bit more seasoned. My fiancé also ordered a pizza by the slice – it was okay. The Aperol was very good, and the coffee was also a plus. It's worth visiting just for the arancini.
18/02/2026: I ordered a steak, the meat was poor quality, it was hard to cut, it tasted strange. I didn't get the side dish I ordered even after half an hour of sitting in the restaurant. When I told the waiter about it, I didn't get a response until the third time. The pasta we ordered was average. Unfortunately, the food looked better than it tasted.

14/10/2025: I've been back four times at different times and I must say I've always had a great time, from the sandwiches at the bar to the aperitifs to the seafood lunch served with a sea view. I've been coming since 2023 and I'm sorry to read negative reviews, but I've had only positive feedback, and what's more, I've even gone on the busiest days, e.g., August 15th.
04/10/2025: A seaside location perfect for events, but also for other formal occasions. The seafood appetizers are excellent, especially the raw fish (fantastic). The first courses are always fresh, though it's a shame about the monkfish served with paccheri; I would have cleaned it before serving. In any case, I understand that this was done to convey the freshness of the fish. Congratulations!

13/10/2025: Terrible experience! My only consolation is that I'm not the only one. I just saw the reviews, but they've been overwhelmingly negative for at least five years. How they manage to stay open remains a mystery.
I ordered two sandwiches, two arancini, and a can of coke for €37. The receipt only showed the total, so the individual prices were a bit of a guess.
The owner was gloomy, to say the least, and offered no explanation. The place has many outdoor tables, but don't you dare change the layout, it's "absolutely forbidden."
And don't be fooled by the message "bathroom out of order." They only allow customers to use it. I clearly heard the electric lock operated by the girl behind the counter.
If you can, avoid!
Luckily, not all Tropea residents are like this.

07/07/2025: A me non piace scrivere e dare le recensioni, quindi dico solo questo: il personale ha portato l'acqua al nostro cagnolino in una ciotola senza che noi avessimo chiesto nulla. Mi sembra scontato dire che il cibo è di una bontà stratosferica, viste anche le altre recensioni. Fantastici.
04/07/2025: La partecipazione a 4 ristoranti ci ha sicuramente incuriositi, ma abbiamo apprezzato la cena soprattutto per la freschezza della materia prima e la sapienza con cui viene trattata. L'antipasto refresh erano 9 assaggi a base di pesce, sfiziosi e saporiti (assolutamente eccezionale lo sformato di cavolo viola e la polpetta), accompagnati da un crudo di prima qualità; gustosi i bigoli alla tartare di gambero e tartufo nero (a scaglie, e non macinato o in salsa come spesso capita), delicatissimo il rotolino di spada. Gentile il personale di sala, disponibile e attento a scusarsi per un piccolo ritardo nel servizio. A nostro personale avviso, il vincitore del programma di Borghese.

Excellent restaurant!
The place is truly delicious! The staff is super hospitable, friendly, and always smiling. They warmly welcome people from all over the world and make you feel right at home.
The food is fantastic—everything is prepared with care and flavor. My favorite dish was the "Spaghetti alla Carbonara," truly exceptional! But the other dishes are also delicious, beautiful
to look at and delicious to eat.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. It truly deserves 5 stars!

03/05/2025: Ci siamo imbattuti in questo posto per la fame. Eravamo appena arrivati a Tropea e il primo posto che abbiamo visto per pranzare al volo è stato questo. Purtroppo i prezzi sono troppo alti. Circa 15 euro per una piadina e un panino con la mortadella per i bambini. Io e mio marito abbiamo preso un piatto di pasta ciascuno di pessima qualità. L'Ho digerito il giorno dopo. Una località turistica non può permettere che si applichino prezzi del genere, è davvero vergognoso.

16/10/2025: A very nice place where you can find excellent food and special people with big hearts. Napoli pizza with friarelli and sausage isn't good... but it's amazing. Chicken al mattone... divine. Then there's the owner and the head waiter, Pasquale, with a heart as big as a house, the pizza chef with golden hands, in short... a pizzeria restaurant discovered by chance on a Thursday in October 2025... that will remain in my heart ♥️
The negative reviews certainly refer to a place with the same name but in another location.
29/07/2025: I can only applaud the lead actor's great performance.
I'll start by saying that a few years ago we went to Cocis in Pizzo, near the shopping center, and twice, even though the chicken and pizza were good, they always treated us the same way: a higher bill, and when we asked for a detailed receipt, they added other dishes.
We arrived on July 26th, 25th, and we ordered chicken and pizzas for a group of about 15 people.
The first thing I said to the friends I was sitting with was that a few years earlier in Pizzo, they had tried to cheat me with the price twice.
I have to say that the food is good, both the pizza and the chicken, but the bill remains the real price.
When it came time to pay the bill, the man who had greeted us showed up with the classic handwritten note: TOTAL 300 euros.
After a quick calculation, we immediately realized there was a problem, and the waiter who did the calculations told us that we hadn't even been charged for the children's first courses (2/3 penne with tomato sauce).
So, already with our previous experience, we asked for the itemized bill, and then, like magic, the first courses appeared again.
To avoid unnecessary words, I looked at the menu and realized that the wines we ordered had been increased in price to bring the bill to the round figure of 300...
APPLAUSE for the third time... COCIS, BRILLIANT IN THE KITCHEN AND PHENOMENAL AT COUNTING...
Of course, as soon as we pointed this out, they justified themselves by saying that the menus had been poorly designed and the bill had been adjusted... OBVIOUSLY.
With this I just want to make a note to the managers of this place, you are good at cooking and you have a beautiful place, so you absolutely must not risk incurring any fines or anything else, to recover a few more euros it is not worth it and ABOVE ALL THE CUSTOMER IS SACRED... he is the one who goes where he is treated well and does not deserve to be cheated

Just wanted to say that our night with you was one of the (if not the most) amazingly beautiful culinary experiences of our lives.
From the moment we arrived , we were made so welcome.
Your stories, explanations of everything we tasted, Calabrian culture and history were fascinating , inciteful and wonderful
The wines were incredible, as was the pairings with the most delicious but humble food.
Simply blew our minds, how incredible simple foods done with love and passion can taste and look.
The attention to detail, taste, combinations were just world class but more than that so real , so embedded in Calabria and with heart
We cannot recommend you more . We have been to some incredible restaurants around the world but this will remain unforgettable and we will remember your warmth, hospitality, wine, food and love forever.
Hopefully we will meet again

Tus historias, explicaciones de todo lo que probamos, la cultura y la historia de Calabria fueron fascinantes, incitadoras y maravillosas
Los vinos eran increíbles, al igual que los maridajes con la comida más deliciosa pero humilde.
Simplemente nos dejó boquiabiertos, lo increíbles que pueden saborear y verse los alimentos simples hechos con amor y pasión.
La atención al detalle, el gusto, las combinaciones eran solo de clase mundial pero más que eso tan real , tan incrustado en Calabria y con corazón
No podemos recomendarte más. Hemos estado en algunos restaurantes increíbles en todo el mundo, pero esto seguirá siendo inolvidable y recordaremos su calidez, hospitalidad, vino, comida y amor para siempre.
Con suerte nos encontraremos de nuevo

19/07/2025: Ottimo cibo preparato con cura e dedizione valorizzando le materie prime di prima scelta. Gli spaghetti ai moscardini sono il punto di forza. La caponata di spada una delizia. Il cerruzzo è uno sfizio prelibato. Non c'è abbastanza tempo per descrivere tutto il resto. La cantina da ampia scelta per tutti i palati. Ma la vera forza è lo staff di sala e cucina. Fortemente raccomandato. Bravi tutti
19/07/2025: da cece , ristorante posizionato in una zona suggestiva di Tropea vicina al belvedere. Si mangia bene ; il proprietario gentile dalla dizione apolide, abbiamo mangiato bene le tante paste proposte preparate per bene il cerruzzo buono , un po’ costoso. Caponata di spada buona. Sufficiente la scelta dei vini. L’ombrellone protettivo dei tavoli limita la fantasia dei commensali e riduce la suggestione del posto. Il servizio lento . Nel complesso i proprietari ospitali , si può fare di più
