18/08/2025: We dined outside the Vecchio Granaio in the heart of Tropea, in a simple, homey atmosphere that immediately made us feel at ease. The staff was truly kind, attentive, and thoughtful, with Antonella, who runs the place, always welcoming and helpful. The pizzas perfectly matched our tastes: made with excellent local ingredients, crispy, and not Neapolitan-style, just how we like it. My son chose the pizza with tuna and Tropea onions, which was delicious, while I had an omelette, which was extremely tasty and well-prepared. My companions were also delighted with their choices. The wait times were just right for a restaurant, without excessive waiting, and the bill was fair: everything was within the norm. A place that showcases local flavors and is definitely worth a visit for those seeking authenticity and quality in Tropea.

16/08/2025: We were in this place on August 15th, we ordered 4 pizzas, what can I say, non-existent service, poor quality pizzas... the only good thing was the Fanta.

11/08/2025: Veramente una bella scoperta! Tutto buonissimo, proprietari disponibili e professionali, personale educato, conto giusto e equilibrato. Abbiamo preso la paella, paccheri gamberi e pomodorini, moscardini, alici fritte, frittura mista…tutto top! Torneremo sicuramente, bravi !!!

07/08/2025: Bel posto, molto curato e pulito! Staff superveloce e preciso! Servizio DIESHI! Abbiamo optato per la pizza Francesco OTTIMA e quello con la mortadella ( un po’ pesante ma vabbè). Consigliatissimo soprattutto per l’ampio parcheggio! Torneremo! Grande selezione di amari (gentilmente anche offerti).

29/07/2025: The facility is nice and very well-maintained; the staff is friendly. The breakfast was disappointing; packaged and/or defrosted products were often from the day before. No baked goods or homemade products. The fruit was limited and repetitive (mostly apples and oranges). The restaurant is well-located, but not of the highest quality.

20/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante in quanto avevamo prenotato ombrellone e lettini al lido San Leonardo sottostante. Ristorante veramente ottimo con materie di prima qualità e fresche e piatti preparati al momento. Consiglio l'impepata di cozze e l'insalata di mare e le verdure grigliate.

18/07/2025: Service was unfriendly and disinterested. My cozze vongole were drenched in oil, and the vongole and cozze weren't fresh and were already stringy. The pasta burratine was also drenched in oil and had almost no flavor. It was also cold. In summary: what a shame about the beautiful location, as it offers a beautiful view. The price of the food is also not justified for the poor quality. I wouldn't recommend anyone eat here. It's an insult to the good Calabrian cuisine! Better to get a panino or arancino nearby.

19/07/2025: Sara och Antonio som driver Caffè del Corso är mycket trevliga. Deras glass och tartufo är riktigt bra. Antonio gör egen bergamottlikör som han gör goda spritz av.

02/06/2025: Fabulous stay! It starts with the beauty of the location, swimming pool and then moves on to the excellent cleanliness of the rooms. Family-run place where the warmth of Katia, Nicola and Mr. Pasquale will make you feel at home. Respectable cuisine (super light pizza dough).

17/05/2025: My husband and I stopped by, it was almost midnight and we hadn't booked but the owner, Mrs. Pina, welcomed us anyway in a very friendly way. I had recently sprained my ankle so shortly after, on her own initiative, the lady knocked on our door to give me some ice to apply. I can say that it was a very welcome welcome in a very well-kept and clean facility.

26/07/2025: Ristorante letteralmente a due passi dal centro. Ambiente molto accogliente e personale super disponibile ed attento alla cura del cliente. Pizza ottima e piatti a base di pesce eccezionali. È senza dubbio il mio ristorante preferito in zona.

24/06/2025: posto semplice ed accogliente: sia pizzeria che trattoria, veloci nel servizio. Ottimo cibo senza tanti orpelli. Peccato rimanga fuorimano: se non lo conosci, non lo trovi.

22/07/2025: Terrible. 11 people. Problems with wasps. One person was stung, helped by a couple who then left because they were allergic. Owners absent. Requested double service charge after asking for a change of cutlery due to the wasps that had been feasting throughout the appetizer. Question: why so many wasps? Answer: when it gets dark, they go away; changing cutlery costs double the service charge. We paid the bill and left, along with another couple who witnessed the incident. Even though the place is worth it, there's a limit to everything.

30/07/2025: Fantástico pescado fresco, amable servicio. Pescados capturados en sus propios barcos. Excelente ubicación. Recomiendo encarecidamente el plato de pescado a la parrilla.

21/07/2025: Pesce fresco,indubbiamente...ad ogni modo ho da fare due appunti: In Calabria,non si può proporre un'insalata tropeana con le olivette denocciolate Saclà! E un meraviglioso dentice non si può spinare riducendolo a una poltiglia di pesce,pinne,pelle e lische.

26/07/2025: We wanted to have a Pizza here (4 persons) at 21:00, we were told that there is no table and we could have a table in half an hour. We agreed and told we come back in 30 minutes. When we returned we still had to wait 20 minutes and were finally placed. We looked at the menu and made our choice. When we wanted to order the waiter told, it would take on hour to prepare a pizza (instead of letting us know before). We then had to make another choice. In the end the teenagers, who were looking forward to eating pizza, had French/Belgian fries with canned sausages. Imagine to come from Belgium to Italy to get Fries and canned sausages.... a shame! My wife and me had pasta, which was rather mediocre.

20/07/2025: We visited this restaurant and tried a first course with crab that was simply exquisite, another with red shrimp of sufficient quality, a mussels with pepper sauce that was delicious and just the right amount of spicy, and finally a delicious fried fish dish. We will definitely be back.

29/07/2025: We chose this place for the possibility of using the hookah, the cocktails we had were good and well made... so well that my friend Giavi was collapsing after drinking a jager bomb and smoking the hookah... luckily he is still alive

20/06/2025: I ordered a hookah and have never received such junk. There wasn't enough water in it and it was dirty, and then I asked about it and made up an excuse. The drinks weren't great either! The conditions are just scattered, tables are wobbly, and dirty. You could really make something of it because the ambiance is nice, but the rest is nothing. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.
