20/09/2025: We visited this restaurant with some families and we all left thrilled! The fish was incredibly fresh, truly the catch of the day, and you could taste the quality in the dishes served. The owner, who is also the chef, personally advised us on our choices and proved to be kind, helpful, and very approachable. The cuisine is excellent, dishes prepared with care and authentic flavor. A nice touch that made lunch even more enjoyable? The presence of their parrot, Birillo, who won everyone over with his cheerfulness! Highly recommended for those looking for good food, a family atmosphere, and an authentic experience in Pizzo.

04/11/2025: A slice of paradise at the beautiful end of the world. Pitches can be right on your own private beach, 50 meters from the water's edge. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The on-site restaurant is pleasant and offers delicious food. The sanitary facilities are basic, as is typical for the area, but always clean and plentiful. The campsite is open year-round.

08/11/2025: The location is very nice from the outside. I'd revisit the rooms, but I find them a bit too old-fashioned. Breakfast is excellent and freshly baked. Location just steps from the center.

23/08/2025: Truly an excellent hotel with very polite staff and owners who take the utmost care of their guests. The cleanliness is truly excellent. The restaurant serves authentic, carefully prepared homemade dishes, and every day there's something new for breakfast, with everything a guest could desire. My wife and I stayed for a week and were truly satisfied with everything. Thank you to the owners and a heartfelt thank you to the staff. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

07/07/2025: A me non piace scrivere e dare le recensioni, quindi dico solo questo: il personale ha portato l'acqua al nostro cagnolino in una ciotola senza che noi avessimo chiesto nulla. Mi sembra scontato dire che il cibo è di una bontà stratosferica, viste anche le altre recensioni. Fantastici.

04/07/2025: La partecipazione a 4 ristoranti ci ha sicuramente incuriositi, ma abbiamo apprezzato la cena soprattutto per la freschezza della materia prima e la sapienza con cui viene trattata. L'antipasto refresh erano 9 assaggi a base di pesce, sfiziosi e saporiti (assolutamente eccezionale lo sformato di cavolo viola e la polpetta), accompagnati da un crudo di prima qualità; gustosi i bigoli alla tartare di gambero e tartufo nero (a scaglie, e non macinato o in salsa come spesso capita), delicatissimo il rotolino di spada. Gentile il personale di sala, disponibile e attento a scusarsi per un piccolo ritardo nel servizio. A nostro personale avviso, il vincitore del programma di Borghese.

11/10/2025: Stayed for work and out of summer season (important). No lunch, yes dinner. I've always eaten well, sometimes (almost always) too much, the portions were huge, and then you'd go to bed feeling like a truck unloading. Jokes aside, since it was out of season, he always asked what we wanted for breakfast in the morning, and was always very kind and helpful. Both the appetizers, first courses, and second courses were good, but from personal experience, never go full, because afterward you can't sleep 😂😂

28/08/2025: I had an unforgettable stay at the Nautilus Hotel in Nicotera Marina during my summer vacation. The welcome was warm and professional from the first moment: the staff were helpful, smiling, and always ready to satisfy every need. The rooms were impeccable: clean, bright, and tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed (back pain-free) and a modern bathroom featuring quality amenities. The view from the room overlooked the garden, and the hotel terrace was the perfect setting for relaxing at sunset. The cuisine was a pleasant surprise: a rich and varied breakfast with fresh ingredients (the cakes baked personally by the owner are legendary) and high-quality dinners with creative dishes and authentic flavors. The dining room service was impeccable, aided by the friendliness of Mr. Tonino and the cooperation of his children, with timely delivery and meticulous attention to detail. The common areas were impeccable, and the location was strategic: close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and attractions, yet still quiet enough for a relaxing vacation. Overall, it was a relaxing vacation: a welcoming atmosphere, high standards of quality, and service that exceeded expectations. I can't wait to return and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and a flawless stay. Hullo, Tonino and his tireless family!

11/10/2025: One star, even too many!!! A very disappointing experience. I went there for a tray of mignon. The lady was outside clearing the tables and told me to wait. She came back with the tray and continued cleaning the counter. I climbed up onto the counter, thinking I was going to help her, but instead, she was rinsing the cups and, with her head down, without even looking at me, she asked me how many pastries I needed, looking annoyed that I had asked for her. So I said goodbye and left. So I gave her a piece of advice: serve yourself first and take your money, and then worry about cleaning. She probably didn't like my Roman accent, but in any case, she lost 20 euros, and I'll write a great review where I bought my pastries. Good luck.

03/09/2025: If I could have given less, I would have. I ordered a millefeuille WITHOUT cream and whipped cream, but with just hazelnut and chocolate. I would have preferred chopped hazelnuts along the edges and powdered sugar on top, but the girl who took the order explained that if she had put chopped hazelnuts on the sides, she would have had to cover the entire cake in cream. So I kindly asked her to leave it bare on the sides and just put the sugar on top, with a sugar paste tag to write the message on. When I went to pick up the cake, I noticed some tufts of cream where the powdered sugar should have been. I asked the guy what it was, and he confirmed it was cream, so I pointed out the request I had made when I placed the order. He, mortified, showed me the order, which had written how the cake was supposed to be, and there was NOTHING written about what I had asked for. I decide to turn a blind eye and order the cake anyway, just so the birthday girl doesn't go without it, given the time it's supposed to be picked up due to work. But that's not all!! Once I get home, and it's time for the cake, we notice another detail, or rather two... 1. At the first bite, all the guests expressed the same opinion: "THE PASTRY IS OLD, NOT NEW"... I could have understood if it was just one person who had this opinion, but out of 15 people, they all had the same reaction. 2. While a piece of cake was being served on a plate, the last layer was lifted, revealing, in addition to the hazelnut and chocolate, a layer of cream that I had explicitly said and repeated several times I didn't want. As a customer since I was a child, this is truly a disappointment...

17/10/2025: We have had some great meals at some really good restaurants in our two weeks in Italy and this place was our run away favourite - we ate here 3 times. Our favourite dishes were the Fileja la Rossa (pasta with tomatoes, onion, olives and capers - perfect) and the Mastru Totu Pizza (topped with tomato, olives, capers, anchovies and burrata (like a cold Mozzarella but better)). Sitting outside in the small square beside the restaurant was a beautiful and peaceful place to eat. The service was brilliant. They were very apologetic that their internet was not working and we had to pay by cash (I am not sure why that would be an issue - I managed to live for 35 years without the Internet). In writing this review I am a bit shocked to see quite a few poor reviews. Hard to understand why, based on our experience this restaurant is brilliant.

13/10/2025: The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, even with our little girls. The atmosphere was romantic and quaint, with a lovely outdoor terrace. Superb food featuring fish, octopus, and Tropea red onions. Highly recommended.

15/05/2025: Incredible!!! We've enjoyed excellent aperitivos here twice already. The low price doesn't reflect the outstanding quality of the authentic food. The ambiance and the very friendly staff made the evening a highlight. Thank you for that!

11/05/2025: This restaurant is not worth visiting. Food is overpriced and simply not good (served on plastic (!) plates )- same goes for the service - waiters are buzzing around you constantly, talking on their walkie-talkies like they are in a swat team (mind that at the time only 3 tables were taken) making it impossible to enjoy the meal (not that there is much to enjoy). Stay away for your own good.

26/08/2025: A good beach. Spacious umbrellas with all the amenities. The beach has showers and bathrooms. The restaurant is a bit basic, but offers sufficient food. The breakfasts, with hot, fresh croissants, are a very positive note. Overall, a good beach.
