12/09/2025: I went with some friends from Tropea to Vibo Valentia to the pastry shop to taste the mini-portions of profiteroles. Unfortunately, when we got there they were sold out, the workshop was closed because it was late in the afternoon, an employee was so kind in helping us make the mini-portions. I recommend the Profiterol for the quality of the products. I also wanted to thank the girl whose name I don't remember but I know she's from Salerno for being kind but above all very good. The mini-portions were, as always, delicious and beautiful to look at 💯💯💯

27/08/2025: Large and clean kiosk, the staff and owner are friendly, kind, and attentive to customer needs. My husband and I stayed in V.M. for a month, and after dinner, strolling along the seafront accompanied by their granita has become a ritual! The granitas and gelato are spectacular, made with excellent ingredients and skill.

16/08/2025: A historic ice cream and granita kiosk in Vibo Marina, open since 1967 and featuring outdoor seating. The ice cream is delicious, but the shop stands out for its variety of granita flavors. In addition to the more classic ones, there are also mulberry and bergamot granitas.

16/08/2025: The hotel appears to be quite dated, as is the furnishings. The rooms have scratched masonry finishes, typical of the 1970s and 1980s, which consequently make them dirty. The rooms are slightly odorous and have no air conditioning.

18/08/2025: I was truly satisfied! The place is very welcoming and well-kept, perfect for a lovely evening. The waiters were kind, helpful, and always smiling—truly impeccable service. The food was a pleasant surprise: incredibly fresh fish, perfectly cooked, and presented with great attention to detail. Every dish was tasty and plentiful. 23/10/2025: Our stay was simply impeccable. The property stands out for its elegance, attention to detail, and welcoming atmosphere. A heartfelt thank you to Alessia at the front desk for her courtesy, helpfulness, and professionalism, and to Mimma and Grazia, the housekeeping ladies, for their excellent daily work and the care they take to maintain the perfect environment. The breakfast service was nothing short of exceptional: a wide variety of sweet and savory options, all fresh and of excellent quality, capable of satisfying every taste. A truly pleasant experience, one I highly recommend and will definitely repeat.

11/10/2025: One star, even too many!!! A very disappointing experience. I went there for a tray of mignon. The lady was outside clearing the tables and told me to wait. She came back with the tray and continued cleaning the counter. I climbed up onto the counter, thinking I was going to help her, but instead, she was rinsing the cups and, with her head down, without even looking at me, she asked me how many pastries I needed, looking annoyed that I had asked for her. So I said goodbye and left. So I gave her a piece of advice: serve yourself first and take your money, and then worry about cleaning. She probably didn't like my Roman accent, but in any case, she lost 20 euros, and I'll write a great review where I bought my pastries. Good luck.

03/09/2025: If I could have given less, I would have. I ordered a millefeuille WITHOUT cream and whipped cream, but with just hazelnut and chocolate. I would have preferred chopped hazelnuts along the edges and powdered sugar on top, but the girl who took the order explained that if she had put chopped hazelnuts on the sides, she would have had to cover the entire cake in cream. So I kindly asked her to leave it bare on the sides and just put the sugar on top, with a sugar paste tag to write the message on. When I went to pick up the cake, I noticed some tufts of cream where the powdered sugar should have been. I asked the guy what it was, and he confirmed it was cream, so I pointed out the request I had made when I placed the order. He, mortified, showed me the order, which had written how the cake was supposed to be, and there was NOTHING written about what I had asked for. I decide to turn a blind eye and order the cake anyway, just so the birthday girl doesn't go without it, given the time it's supposed to be picked up due to work. But that's not all!! Once I get home, and it's time for the cake, we notice another detail, or rather two... 1. At the first bite, all the guests expressed the same opinion: "THE PASTRY IS OLD, NOT NEW"... I could have understood if it was just one person who had this opinion, but out of 15 people, they all had the same reaction. 2. While a piece of cake was being served on a plate, the last layer was lifted, revealing, in addition to the hazelnut and chocolate, a layer of cream that I had explicitly said and repeated several times I didn't want. As a customer since I was a child, this is truly a disappointment...

23/08/2025: Truly an excellent hotel with very polite staff and owners who take the utmost care of their guests. The cleanliness is truly excellent. The restaurant serves authentic, carefully prepared homemade dishes, and every day there's something new for breakfast, with everything a guest could desire. My wife and I stayed for a week and were truly satisfied with everything. Thank you to the owners and a heartfelt thank you to the staff. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

05/09/2025: Great option! Pay and eat as much as you want. A tablet on the table and you choose what you want from the dishes. Desserts and drinks are available for an additional fee. The sushi is great, fresh, and tasty. The service is indeed quiet, but okay. I recommend trying many dishes; the price is 24 euros per person (September 2025). A plus is the ample parking.

11/10/2025: Stayed for work and out of summer season (important). No lunch, yes dinner. I've always eaten well, sometimes (almost always) too much, the portions were huge, and then you'd go to bed feeling like a truck unloading. Jokes aside, since it was out of season, he always asked what we wanted for breakfast in the morning, and was always very kind and helpful. Both the appetizers, first courses, and second courses were good, but from personal experience, never go full, because afterward you can't sleep 😂😂

28/08/2025: I had an unforgettable stay at the Nautilus Hotel in Nicotera Marina during my summer vacation. The welcome was warm and professional from the first moment: the staff were helpful, smiling, and always ready to satisfy every need. The rooms were impeccable: clean, bright, and tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed (back pain-free) and a modern bathroom featuring quality amenities. The view from the room overlooked the garden, and the hotel terrace was the perfect setting for relaxing at sunset. The cuisine was a pleasant surprise: a rich and varied breakfast with fresh ingredients (the cakes baked personally by the owner are legendary) and high-quality dinners with creative dishes and authentic flavors. The dining room service was impeccable, aided by the friendliness of Mr. Tonino and the cooperation of his children, with timely delivery and meticulous attention to detail. The common areas were impeccable, and the location was strategic: close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and attractions, yet still quiet enough for a relaxing vacation. Overall, it was a relaxing vacation: a welcoming atmosphere, high standards of quality, and service that exceeded expectations. I can't wait to return and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and a flawless stay. Hullo, Tonino and his tireless family!

11/10/2025: Great location for a beach holiday. Simple, ancient restrooms, but always clean.

07/10/2025: We felt quite comfortable here overall. The staff are friendly, and there are plenty of nice shady spots under trees or nets. The beach is beautiful, and the view of Stromboli Island is simply stunning. It’s a bit of a pity that there are some dog droppings around the trees – it seems to be a popular place for dog owners, though that’s certainly not the owner’s fault. The sanitary facilities look like they date back to the early 1990s and could really use an update. Still, for the location and atmosphere, we’re happy to give four stars.

20/09/2025: We visited this restaurant with some families and we all left thrilled! The fish was incredibly fresh, truly the catch of the day, and you could taste the quality in the dishes served. The owner, who is also the chef, personally advised us on our choices and proved to be kind, helpful, and very approachable. The cuisine is excellent, dishes prepared with care and authentic flavor. A nice touch that made lunch even more enjoyable? The presence of their parrot, Birillo, who won everyone over with his cheerfulness! Highly recommended for those looking for good food, a family atmosphere, and an authentic experience in Pizzo.
