First meal in Tropea. Great location and the service was very good and friendly. Just a bit disappointed in the food. We were excited to try Nduja on a pizza, but found the pizza didn’t have much spice. We also ordered a salad of Tropea onions and tomatoes 🍅, also a bit disappointing. We probably shouldn’t have ordered tomatoes this time of year (they were no so flavorful), but we saw nice ripe ones in the farmers market so decided to try it. Onions were nice, but would have loved to have more in the salad. Maybe other menu items would have been better choices.

A cozy and charming restaurant. Excellent service from Sofia, who was friendly, polite, and provided great service. The food was delicious. Highly recommended!

I went twice in my week in Tropea (was one of the 2 restaurant open) and while the first time I had a mixed experience with one of the waiter, the second time it was perfect. Both times the food was incredible. Both times the (spanish ?) waitress was kind, professional and helpful. Just another of the waitress seemed overly stressed and not very happy therefore not very helpful. But the second time she was at the top of her game again.

We can really recommend this place! Had awesome traditional snacks (cheese, meat and perfect red onion 👌). Pizza and house wine was also very good.

17/01/2026: Home-style cooking, generous and authentic. The whole team is friendly. The fireplace is a lovely little extra. A wide selection of good wines from several regions, including Calabrian wines, of course ;-) ! Even a noisy family with screaming children couldn't spoil our meal
07/12/2025: A good trattoria with competitive prices without compromising on quality. The meats and cheeses are excellent. The parmigiana is also very good. Desserts and liqueurs are on the house. It's a shame about the olive oil at the table; with all the olive groves in the area, you can't offer supermarket-quality oil. The atmosphere is a bit spartan, but comfortable. Service is slow, but if you're on vacation and not in a hurry, it's acceptable. TF offer applies regularly.

01/06/2026: We stayed in Pizzo for four days and dined at Nostrano for three. We felt at home thanks to the warm welcome from all the friendly staff. The kitchen presented us with abundant, well-cooked, and very fresh dishes. The quality/price ratio was excellent. I personally left with the recipe, or at least the idea, for the chef's calamarata; incredible! See you soon, we hope! Davide and Nicoletta
