15/08/2024: terrible place!! even with a reservation they made us wait an hour on the sofas at the entrance, which were also wet, which we obviously dried ourselves. another hour and a half to get some good pizzas to eat, which only made us feel bad the evening and the next day! inexperienced waiters, 30 minutes to bring us two bottles of water and despite the many thanks for everything they brought us they only managed to look at each of us badly and disgusted. I know it's hard work but you can at least pretend... in conclusion, terrible restaurant with exaggerated prices for the crap they make you eat

15/08/2024: As usual in Reggio Calabria it works "u sai cu sugnu eu e cu si tu", last night after we had booked at 9.30pm we queued up (considering that there are two queues for both the pizzeria and the restaurant), after more than half an hour of waiting the queue became quite long and the less polite people moved forward past the queue because a guy from the club who was shown the door only let them pass because he knew them or they were friends, and I don't think it's correct considering that we had all made the reservation and waited our turn, and obviously they passed in the restaurant line to go to the pizzeria just to do a favor or to do it first...so have a bit of respect and common sense for everyone because the people who see these scenes "even if they are not from Calabria" are disgusted to see these things....

16/08/2024: A few steps from Siderno station, in front of the Amelio bar (which I don't recommend), you will find this ice cream shop that also makes waffles and crêpes and then there are ice cream cakes and frozen cones. All very good.

21/07/2024: Metto una stella solamente per il servizio. Il titolare dovrebbe investire di più sul personale con formazione e professionalità, non si può mettere a servire una ragazza, con tutto rispetto che nemmeno parla… tanto che ho fatto fatica a capire quanto dovevo pagare, oltretutto neanche in grado di dare il resto. Parlo della ragazza bionda! Una lumaca è più veloce di lei nel servire un cliente. L unica cosa positiva è che il gelato è sempre ottimo!

15/08/2024: After (and for) 35 years, the same surreal scene is incredibly still there. An endless queue of customers and the owner/pizza chef/cashier/entertainer and factotum has a large team of helpers... Who, however, are strictly forbidden to help! They are forced to sit still and watch the boss 'operate'. He does everything, including nice chats at the register when paying, but yes, let's take it easy when you have customers who have been waiting 40 minutes for a piece of pizza. At least it was good, and instead in a place with a squalid atmosphere, for a mediocre pizza, where the doubt arises that they don't even know what HACCP is, every euro is wasted. Better to feed on air. Avoid at all costs

27/08/2024: For the second consecutive year I dined in the restaurant and I would like to reconfirm every word of the previous review: "The cove of the feluccas is immersed in a magical atmosphere. You dine literally suspended over the waters that crash against the shore, savoring delicious local dishes. Swordfish reigns supreme, available in all its tasty variations. The staff is also very kind and discreet. We will count the days until the next visit."

25/08/2024: Really embarrassing. We ordered appetizers and first courses. Gelatinous and flavourless octopus salad, Normal mussel sauté, Strozzapreti with greedy swordfish without salt and watery sauce, Linguine with tasteless clams and sticky pistachio pesto, Strozzapreti with pesto without salt. Out of desperation I ordered fried calamari but the kitchen was already closed at 10.30pm on Friday. I suspect all the ingredients were frozen and not fresh. The cover on the platform overlooking the sea cost €5 while on the veranda it cost €2. Culinary decadence and arrogance of the owners. If I had cooked at home I would have done better myself.

29/05/2024: Excellent ice creams, granitas, milkshakes and pastries! Kind and quick in serving the 5 school groups and accompanying teachers. There is a large room available to consume what you ordered in peace. Highly recommended!

13/05/2024: We had dinner in this restaurant, very nice, suitable for everyone, quality food and well prepared dishes. Waiter service was a little poor, it can definitely be improved, but all in all it was a nice evening.

11/08/2024: One star for the environment because the site where the tables are placed is poorly maintained: poor cleaning both on the tables and on the floor. We asked for 2 gin and tonics, the girl was unable to present either decent gins or tonic water (choosing at random between 2 unknown proposals I was lucky enough to stumble across a fever three, but the girl didn't know it). No appetizers, I asked for peanuts or chips. I got them, but at a high price. I paid 32 euros... Obviously the seafront and the strait are beautiful and fascinating, but there are certainly better places to stop

11/08/2024: Disappointing experience. I went to the aperipesce with high expectations, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. The food had no taste at all! The dishes looked inviting, but every morsel was bland and lacking in taste. I expected to taste freshness and strong flavors. I won't go back and definitely won't recommend it to anyone.

24/08/2024: Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza deludente in questo ristorante. Prima di poter ordinare abbiamo atteso ben 20 minuti, e successivamente altri 20 minuti per ricevere i piatti, che ci sono stati serviti a rate, ovvero in momenti separati. Nel mio piatto di spaghetti alle vongole c'erano solo 4 vongole, una vera vergogna! Se avessi voluto mangiare solo pasta, avrei scelto un'altra opzione. Ero venuto per gustare un piatto con una quantità adeguata di vongole, ma evidentemente le aspettative non sono state minimamente soddisfatte. Anche al momento del pagamento ho dovuto attendere circa 15 minuti alla cassa. Allego foto per dare un'idea della situazione. Purtroppo non posso consigliare questo posto.
