17/08/2025: Simply the bar at Locri station. A wide selection of granitas, family-sized ice creams, and the best brioche in Locri. Recommended.

10/12/2025: I purchased a basket for €100. Instead of the caciocavallo cheese, which was explicitly included in the basket, they arbitrarily and without consulting me replaced it with pecorino cheese, which in my opinion is of lesser value. I asked for an explanation and was told, without even an apology, that the caciocavallo cheese was out, so they decided to send another one, without consulting me! Clearly, they didn't remedy the situation in any way and never responded to me again. Imagine the disappointment of buying one item and having it sent to you. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE!!!!!!!!!!

14/12/2025: My wife and I occasionally stop in Reggio Calabria from Vibo Valentia, and being used to large aperitifs at other places in Reggio, we stumbled upon this place. We ended up eating a mini platter with four appetizers, practically nothing. The non-alcoholic cocktail, made with freshly blended fruit, was excellent, and the price wasn't exactly cheap at €8. Aside from the cocktail, the service was good, and the atmosphere was welcoming. But I'm giving it one star because, after an aperitif, being as hungry as if you hadn't eaten anything is unacceptable in Reggio Calabria, famous for its large aperitifs.

06/08/2025: High expectations, unfortunately not met, perhaps because it was Sunday and they were open half a day, maybe when I return to Reggio I will re-evaluate... even if, waiting for the cashier to finish talking to friends and do us the favor of making us pay is a really unpleasant attitude.

30/12/2025: Be careful to not be scammed. I’m Italian , from Reggio Calabria, but my wife is French and we live in U.S.A.. They made us pay 100 EUR for a lunch worth 30 EUR just because we were speaking english and they thought we were foreign tourists. A fruit juice, usually worth 2 or 3 EUR in any other bar, was charged 8 EUR. Avoid this place if you are in Scilla…. there are many better and honest places down there.

07/09/2025: Very nice location, nothing to complain about the service or wait times, but when we ordered a restaurant service, the cover charge didn't include bread, which wasn't brought to us. The worst part was the €2.00 gluten-free supplement for a peppered mussel dish, which is naturally gluten-free, and another €2.00 for a French fry, which they claim is always cooked in oil separately, regardless of our celiac preferences.

23/12/2025: Nothing to say, very good pizza

27/10/2025: The seafood appetizer: only low-quality cured meats and packaged seafood salad, no cheeses or anything else. The pasta: tagliatelle with mushrooms... tasteless, and the mushrooms inedible, bought practically raw, frozen, and thrown on the pasta. The fettuccine with stockfish? The most absolute disgusting dish I could have ever had... I don't know if the stockfish was rotten or taken from putrid water and thrown in the sauce... when the dish arrived, it smelled like sewers, and when stirring the pasta, it smelled like a mix of sewers and horse stables... obviously, we didn't eat... We only paid to avoid controversy... It's not that I don't recommend it, I'm telling you NEVER to go there!

26/08/2025: Everything was exquisitely good, delicate and carefully prepared. The appetizer and first course were excellent! The team was friendly and polite, led by a father and his very sweet daughters... what can I say? We'll definitely be back! Thank you!

18/09/2025: 😋😋 Wow! 😋😋🍕🍕 After a long, hot days sail we saw the Pizzeria Barrel wasn't too far from where we were anchored 🤔 We decided to get a pizza to eat on the boat ⛵. So glad we did for €14 we got a pizza that even the two of us found filling and Frittata as a side. The pizza was just what we needed, hot, a large size and delicious 😋😋 The toppings were fresh and just right and the base was amazing ♥️, the potato Frittata were hot and chunky, we couldn't finish them all to be honest. 08/10/2025: We visited for the first time on Saturday to visit the passionately organized insect and butterfly exhibition. The park is huge, well-maintained, and has several attractions for children. We'll be back.

10/11/2025: November 10th – Disappointing Experience It's November 10th, and the atmosphere is cool and the breeze is blowing in, but that's really the least of the problems. The real inconvenience was the food: we ordered four Happy Meals and two menus, but everything arrived without boxes, completely scattered. The worst part? The sandwiches were cold, so cold that the cheese slice was still whole and not even slightly melted. I mentioned this to the staff, who replied, "I'll reheat it for you." Now, as far as I know, according to McDonald's internal policy, a sandwich served cold should be remade, not simply reheated. But even overlooking this, the sandwich came back with only the top of the bun barely warm... the cheese slice, of course, remained exactly as it was. Every time I return to this location—unfortunately, once a year—I notice a constant deterioration in the service. As far as I'm concerned, it's time someone from above took serious action: spending 43 euros to receive a service like this is a real joke.

25/03/2026: Excellent, I've never seen anything like it. Stunning atmosphere, fabulous food, and highly trained staff. Fair prices, highly recommended. The KARAOKE evening was amazing.
