07/01/2025: The place is very nice, the food also very good, except the bread which was hard. Cleanliness could really be improved: we found glasses stained with lipstick, as well as napkins and tablecloths stained with sauce. If they could improve these aspects it would be a great place. Excellent service.

16/11/2024: Disgusting, disrespectful waiters, we ordered at 8.30pm, the pizza arrived at 10.30pm, truly disgusting, to be fired, how disgusting

13/10/2024: The hotel is really in its original state and is not welcoming. Dilapidation everywhere, a dilapidated and dirty neighborhood, abandoned buildings all around the establishment. Breakfast was terrible. The only advantage, the proximity to Reggio.

01/01/2025: Servizio PESSIMO abbiamo aspettato più di mezz'ora per mangiare un aperitivo freddo. Piatti untissimi, servizio lentissimo. Abbiam fatto notare il problema del ritardo e non si sono neanche scusati. Anche i clienti degli altri tavoli si sono dovuti alzare come noi per sollecitare il servizio. Da evitare.

14/01/2025: An experience to forget. I took friends to dinner, I made a fool of myself because I trusted the reviews. Non-existent service, improvised waiters not to mention the very poor food. I recommend if you have to go to the bathroom do it in the countryside. Absent customer care. I recommend. Be HUMBLE.

01/11/2024: Pizza is a symphony of simplicity and perfection. The dough is crispy on the outside and airy and soft on the inside, with the delicate hint of smoke from the wood-fired oven. It reaches high temperatures so that the pizza is baked in 90 seconds. The tomato sauce, incredibly fruity, mixes natural sweetness with subtle acidity, I have rarely had such a good one. Prices absolutely fair!

31/03/2025: ¡No estoy bromeando! La pizza vegetariana fue la mejor que he probado. Fue difícil decidirse porque todas sus pizzas son originales y tentadoras. Otros en mi grupo pidieron pasta o pescado, y todos disfrutaron inmensamente de sus cenas. Reggio Calabria está muy lejos de California, pero tengo que volver y probar las otras pizzas y entradas para la cena. ¿He mencionado que las cervezas también son maravillosas?

29/12/2024: Prenotazione delle 21.30-21.45 del 28 dicembre. Eravamo un gruppo numeroso e non di Reggio Calabria, quindi siamo venuti apposta per mangiare al Piro Bistrot. Siamo arrivati puntuali e c'è stato da subito detto che il nostro tavolo non era pronto. Abbiamo pensato che fosse questione di minuti. Un'attesa fisiologica tra primo e secondo turno. Non è stato così. Facevano entrare persone anche senza prenotazione segno evidente che volevano riempire le sale a tutti i costi provando poi a trovare una soluzione per il nostro tavolo. Nel frattempo né una parola di scuse, né un trancio di pizza o un bicchierino con il quale scusarsi per l'attesa e ingannare il tempo. Dopo un'ora, intorno alle 22.30, e all'ennesimo "Stiamo preparando il tavolo" ci siamo spostati di qualche metro e siamo andati dai Fratelli La Bufala. Inutile provare a imitare i ristoranti milanesi se si riesce soltanto a mettere qualche luce al neon senza portare avanti la stessa attenzione al cliente. Non posso pronunciarmi sul menu dato che mi è stato impedito di degustarlo. Ma sicuramente non tornerò a provarlo.

10/02/2025: Judging by the reviews, the standard scheme works here: You are offered an aperitif to accompany your drink. It is not specified how many there are and how much they cost. You may be accustomed to the fact that such snacks are often free in bars at certain times. They bring you a large number of snacks (mostly bread) for each guest. You perceive them as included in the price, then they bring you a bill, where a set for one costs 8 euros (I could be wrong with the price - it was a month ago) Is this a scam? No Normal way of doing business? Definitely not The snacks themselves are not tasty by the way.
