La Montagnola In Scilla

From Bagnara, I headed up to Gambarie at lunchtime during my recent vacation in Calabria. I dived into the first restaurant I came across. I found a simple, spotlessly clean environment and the lady who runs it was extremely kind. I had a very good and generous appetizer (capocollo, salami, aged and fresh cheese, super potatoes, and sublime fried fish). For the main course, a lovely grilled meat. The price was truly excellent. A break from the superb fish in Bagnara, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The food was excellent, both visually and palatably. The owner provided a warm welcome...I highly recommend it. After three years, I'm renewing my excellent review. Delicious food and wine. Fast, courteous service. The owner was very kind and friendly. Kar kar
