04/11/2025: Wow! What a pleasant experience! I’m traveling the world, and as a foodie, I truly appreciate good-quality food, great service, and attention to detail. I’ve been to Italy many times before and was often disappointed by the pizza — but this pizza finally ticks all the boxes! It was absolutely fantastic, one of the best I have had! And the tartufo… simply divine. With all that said, the prices are very fair for the quality and experience. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough — it’s a real gem in Calabria!

29/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati per pranzo, eravamo di passaggio. L’oste ci ha accolti in maniera davvero gradevole, il cibo è ottimo, vario e tipico dell zona. Molti prodotti sono a km 0. Tipica osteria, ormai se ne vedono poche così. Da rifare sicuramente

22/06/2025: Piacevole esperienza,ci siamo trovati a Tarsia per visitare il paese di mio nonno,e per il pranzo ci siamo fermati in questa osteria .Subito ci ha accolti una signora molto gentile che ci ha fatto accomodare al tavolo.Il menù era fisso e devo dire che si è mangiato molto bene dall' antipasto al dolce .Il primo piatto maccheroni al sugo con salsiccia ( pasta tipica fatta a mano) a seguire carne ai ferri .Posto consigliatissimo per la cucina ( Prezzo veramente basso ) e la pulizia degli ambienti . Mi sento di ringraziare il titolare e la madre perché mi hanno fatto sentire di appartenere a quei luoghi .Saluti D.B.

29/10/2025: After wandering around Gioia Tauro, where I'd come across very few bars, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this one. It's truly a refreshing place, with an excellent breakfast, including a giant croissant, piping hot, and truly friendly staff. Congratulations, a very positive start to the day.

11/10/2025: Incredibly nice place up in the mountains. The restaurant was really good if you like seafood. Great service too. The room we stayed in was very cold though and the AC was broken so the temperature couldn't be raised.

The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend the dish of the day or a good local wine, making the experience even more authentic. The real highlight is the food. The cuisine is a tribute to tradition: bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and expertly executed recipes. A word of warning: go on an empty stomach! The portions are truly generous, and the price is excellent. It's a perfect place for those who are truly hungry.

11/07/2025: An out-of-the-way place that is extremely worth visiting, for the outdoor spaces, spacious interior, truly excellent food, courteous and professional staff, honest price. Ample parking.

13/08/2025: We ate better here than at the more popular places around Calabria. Any recommendations? We had excellent fish: mussels, linguine with mussels and clams, and fried calamari and small fish. The service was excellent and fast. The prices were more than fair. I highly recommend it!

25/08/2025: Off the beaten path, you'll find authentic cuisine. Pizzeria Ristorante San Francesco offers just that: traditional Calabrian cuisine, as it should be. Following Google's info (thanks to reviewers), we found this place. There's no showy display designed to impress (the exterior doesn't attract tourists, but perhaps that's a good thing). But inside, the truth comes through: excellent ingredients will win you over. A few dishes, but enough to get to know the area, all homemade with home-grown vegetables (grown directly by the owners). The first courses are delicious, as are the appetizers, pizzas, and second courses. But even the wait before tasting excellent Fileja alla Norma or alla Calabrese is worth it. The flavor explodes in your mouth. Simple, yet genuine and sincere, flavors that are missing from the surrounding tourist restaurants. Added to this is a rare kindness and courtesy that make the dinner even more enjoyable and make you say: I'll be back again (which we did). If you have a car and want to experience the simplicity of Calabrian flavors, I recommend going there—it's really worth it. We've been back three times. Congratulations.

03/10/2025: The Blue Bay beach and kiosk are those "oases in the desert" that I'm happy to find in this earthly paradise. Courtesy, a smile, kindness, professionalism, and a desire to do their job to the fullest. Family-run, this small beach has everything you need for wonderful days at the beach. Discovered by chance on a September day, far from the summer chaos, it gave us a relaxing and pleasant Sunday. Perhaps the space between the loungers is a bit small, but I understand they try to make the most of the small beach. Oh, and a small note: if they let you enjoy the sunset after closing time, be good: "Close the loungers and umbrella!" Kindness demands kindness! Highly recommended

20/10/2025: A very nice pub/restaurant near the Reggio Calabria airport. A lovely discovery last winter, and every time I pass by, it's a must-try! The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the real highlight is the potatoes seasoned in various ways, which are a true delight! A unique dish, never tried before! A true specialty! Recommended.

11/08/2025: *A Must-Visit in Reggio Calabria* Stopped by this place and it totally impressed me. Cozy Irish pub vibe, wooden interiors, and walls full of unique details that make you want to look around. The food is outstanding — juicy burgers, amazing potatoes, and delicious cheeses and desserts. Everything pairs perfectly with their great beer selection. Service was friendly and fast, making the whole experience even better. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
