04/06/2025: Great location food is a hit and miss my was amazing but my wife’s sea food pasta not great good and cheap wine. 😉I would recommend the place is more to the posh side.

28/04/2025: We had a delicious meal here, we got nachos and a dip on the house beforehand. We ordered the "tagliata arugula e grana" and the "grigliata carne mista" with "insalata tomato e cipolla" and "patate con la buccia" as side dishes and enjoyed them. The dishes were prepared full of flavour. For dessert we took both options they had, a lemon tart with strawberry dressing and profiteroles. We had a delicious meal and will definitely return when we return to Cosenza.

16/06/2025: Wir waren heute mit unseren drei Kindern hier beim Mittagessen. Absolute Warnung vor dieser Osteria! Bei der Rechnung wurden einfach 20 € mehr berechnet. Wenn wir es nicht sofort nachgerechnet hätten, hätten wir es nicht bemerkt und hätten zusätzlich zu den 10€ Coperto noch 20€ extra bezahlt! Die Erklärung war, dass sich der Taschenrechner verrechnet hätte! Sehr, sehr enttäuschend, so abgezockt zu werden! Dies scheint kein Einzelfall bei dieser Osteria zu sein!!!!!

06/06/2025: Everything was great except the food. The swordfish literally tasted like charcoal, the veal steak was very disappointing compared to the quality you get at other restaurants in the vicinity. I do have to say that the employees were very nice and attentive.

02/03/2025: Special place. We had a wonderful evening, the food and wine were squisiti! Best fish I've eaten in Calabria so far. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and ready for a joke. The children were welcome, approached in a friendly manner and enjoyed their calamari. We can't wait to come back! Price-quality ratio was excellent.

14/04/2025: Vivere un'esperienza diversa è possibile in questo ristorante nel cuore di Spadola, centro nevralgico delle Serre calabre. La location è perfetta affinché faccia da cornice ad una serata di divertimento e spensieratezza, lontana dal caos dei grandi centri. Il servizio è impeccabile, la gentilezza del personale è la chicca da non sottovalutare. Ottime le pizze, l'antipasto di cibo tipico il tocco in più. Da ritornarci

21/06/2025: Ritornati dopo qualche mese Al Pirata… che dire esperienza ancora una volta SUPERLATIVA , vista mare da togliere il fiato, cibo strepitoso, personale gentile e i proprietari dolcissimi. CONSIGLIATISSIMO.

20/06/2025: Siamo capitati in questo locale che ci ha piacevolmente accolti. abbiamo assaggiato vari tipi di antipasti e pizza. Tutto ottimo, il polpo con la burrata veramente da 10 e lode. Il tutto avvolto da una vista mozzafiato...., tramonto sul mare! Personale gentile e disponibile. Lo consiglio.

02/06/2025: This was the best value for money in all my holiday, very good prices, great food (desperate for Nero di seppia) asked for it as risotto and we were not disappointed. Staff rushed and don't hang around for you to add to your order, but over all very happy

16/06/2025: We took 3 trays of pizza all topped plus eight portions of potatoes and it was a blow to the head, for my personal taste the pizzas were not great... Disappointed and very expensive

20/06/2025: Among many restaurants, this is an absolute gem. Although it is not very visible, the enjoyment of the food and the place where the restaurant is located will bring tears to your eyes. We had pasta fileja with seafood, where the seafood was absolutely fresh, the pasta homemade and the taste unbeatable. I do not like tomatoes and the waiter himself offered to make me a version without tomatoes!! The second dish we had beef steak from local farming. We have not tasted such an excellent taste of beef for a long time. Then the owner Roberto came and answered all our questions about the food, the origin of the meat with grace. Each of the waiters knows what to do and they serve a great performance, especially señor Anys and señor with glasses Claudio. And dessert? We have no words. We will gladly return to this place whenever we are nearby. Definitely worth a visit. Once again, many thanks!

13/06/2025: My husband and I went to get an ice cream and a yogurt, we ordered from the tablet outside, made the payment at the POS and it says "system error" but it took the money and the POS said error, tried again a second time and the same, went to the owner who replied don't worry then they will be reversed after 30 days or the next day, the next day I find two payments without having taken anything because then when we explained what happened we paid at the cashier so 3 payments of which 2 without having taken anything. Returned with a photo after 3/4 days and they said send us the statement, I also wrote a reminder message in addition to the statement of payments and no response, not very serious. We will not go back, for us they were the best in Calabria but we were disappointed. For € 10 we could live and instead we gave them away. Absurd, be careful guys!
