I've been frequenting this restaurant in Motta San Giovanni, Reggio Calabria, for several years, and every time they manage to surprise me like it was the first time. It's one of those rare places where, as soon as you enter, you feel truly special: the attention, kindness, and professionalism of the staff create a unique, familiar, yet elegant atmosphere. The cuisine is haute, refined, and carefully crafted. Each dish is a sublime little experience: carefully selected ingredients, refined combinations, and impeccable presentation. The dishes are meticulously crafted, conceived and crafted with a precision that reveals a profound passion for the culinary arts. My birthday lunch was the most emotional moment: without any prior planning, they prepared the cake and sparkling wine, transforming a simple meal into a beautiful memory. Everything was perfect, everything was spontaneous, everything was done with love. A gesture worth a thousand words. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend the dish of the day or a good local wine, making the experience even more authentic. The real highlight is the food. The cuisine is a tribute to tradition: bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and expertly executed recipes. A word of warning: go on an empty stomach! The portions are truly generous, and the price is excellent. It's a perfect place for those who are truly hungry.

17/08/2025: We had dinner with all our relatives at this restaurant and we appreciated the quality of the meat. The tartare, the Alba-style raw meat, and the tagliata were exquisite. The appetizers were average. It's a shame we sat down at 9 PM and finished at 1:30 AM.

04/07/2025: Just a few hundred meters from the Gallico highway exit, Braceria Gangemi is a unique place for those looking to spend an evening relaxing and, above all, enjoying good food. Gaetano is the perfect host. His presence in the dining room is discreet and friendly, and when he leaves his realm (the kitchen), it's to pamper his guests. The experience is that of a family dinner where you know someone in the kitchen is eager to give you the best. But let's get back to the kitchen. Open view, an element not to be underestimated, is where Gaetano perfects his creations. Last night, we were a group of 12 friends and opted for a meat menu. The local appetizers (the zucchini flower fritters grown by Gaetano in his garden are out of this world) are exquisite, and the courses are endless. The pasta with white ragù and black truffle is highly recommended. And what can I say about the meat? The tagliata melts in your mouth, the lamb ribs are eaten one after another, the meat rolls melt in your mouth. A gem: the elephant ear cutlet. A kilo of pure goodness. How much did we pay? I'll just say that Braceria is one of the few places in the city where you can eat well (or better) at the right price. An experience to do and repeat!

18/07/2025: Compliments to the "pitta impigliata" and all the products, excellent and traditional local. Come in already "eaten," otherwise you'll leave hungry, you'll eat all your groceries and bring nothing home. 😄

02/12/2025: I got two takeout pizzas from Semolà: a white one with fries and pancetta, and a Margherita with potato sticks. 🍕 They were very quick to prepare, and the girl at the counter was really kind. I found the price fair, and the pizzas were good, with generous toppings. The dough is typical Cosenza style, just how I like it. I'd love to go back.

16/10/2025: The pizza is excellent, but the sandwiches were a bit of a surprise. We're used to having our cutlets made in-house, and finding pre-cooked ones from the supermarket isn't acceptable, especially when we've always had a completely different quality. A real shame.
