Porta Marina In Catanzaro

Truly everything was delicious: from the appetizers to the main courses. The raw ham and tuna tartar were delicious. The mussels were a true delicacy. A must-try if you want to eat excellent seafood. Highly recommended.

Excellent is an understatement. For the price paid, the food is very fair, in fact better than usual...and above all, good. The staff is courteous and helpful. The overall cleanliness is good.

Deeply disappointed by a nearby restaurant, in Catanzaro for work, we headed to the Porta Marina restaurant without much expectation. We had spaghetti with squid ink, a specialty hard to find in my region, and a tuna steak. Both dishes were exceptional. The ciccio and cod meatballs, served complimentary while you wait for your dishes, were also delicious. The staff were extremely friendly. Truly one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Greetings from Bari! Too bad you're too far from here to take a stroll and have dinner.

The food is excellent, but it's not always possible to go there... it's a little expensive, but the food is very fresh and the staff is welcoming.

After spending 50 euros each we found ourselves eating at MC Donald's, good food but small portions, the wines need to be reviewed in my opinion, the waiter Danilo was truly super

A magnificent restaurant located right next to one of Catanzaro's most beautiful views, Bella Vista, in the historic center of the Calabrian capital! A very welcoming and modern restaurant. A varied menu with excellent selections of fresh fish and seafood. Impeccable and attentive service. The dishes are elegantly presented and burst with authentic and captivating flavors. The dishes are high-quality and exceptionally spicy, with excellent value! We had a great time. A place worth trying and definitely returning to! Congratulations!

The "Porta Marina" pizza is excellent. The dining rooms are comfortable. The service is good. The staff is friendly and professional.

The food here is always excellent, with that rare consistency that distinguishes the great from those who simply try. And the service... impeccable, attentive, never intrusive, capable of making you feel important without needing to say so. This isn't a restaurant where you "just go." It's a restaurant where you return, because it becomes part of your history, your memories, your certainties. A place that succeeds in the most difficult feat of all: making you leave each time with the same feeling as the first, that of having experienced something special.

If you're looking for a restaurant where the food is fantastic and the service is better than heaven, you've come to the right place! Their daily (and nightly!) special is their waiter – a master of communication and cheerfulness. He was so efficient and kind, I suspect they recruited him straight from the magic academy. I didn't even have to think about what I wanted, and he was already bringing it to me! The food? Phenomenal! Fresh, Calabrian flavors that made me want to ask the chef to adopt me. In short: everything was excellent. The waiter deserves a raise, and I deserve a comeback!
