Located on the Crotone seafront with gazebos and umbrellas, perfect for a quick snack, as they are quick to serve you, with decent portions accompanied by pinsa-style bread in a paper bag, as is the cutlery.

This is a really nice and recommended place, perhaps a little crowded, some prices are not exactly cheap, the average for a sandwich is always over 10 euros.

L'Insolito is a beautiful, welcoming restaurant offering truly excellent quality food. The problem, however, is that this evening, perhaps due to disorganization and a temporary inability to manage the crowd, we were disappointed with the service: the waiter, from the start, didn't welcome us cheerfully, from the moment he asked us to leave our table, because it was wrong (when it was his colleague who sat us) and not courteous (we had reserved the table). A customer sitting down at a table on a Saturday night wants to eat in peace, not with the anxiety conveyed by the waiter who repeatedly insists that the table must be vacated by 9:30 PM. Not recommended on Saturday nights!!!!

It was love at first sight with this vibrant, lively, and delicious place. On the Crotone waterfront, it's teeming with young and old alike, eager to spend an hour in good company over a spritz or enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. They're also very well-prepared for gluten-free options, which I was even more pleasantly surprised by. And seeing tables full of Americans on a tourist trip appreciating every dish is an added bonus. Highly recommended.
