Paluà In Diamante

I dined at this restaurant on a Saturday evening. The food was good and the portions were adequate. Special mention goes to the fried calamari (you could tell it was fried in clean oil) and the lemon tart, which was truly excellent. The waiters were very attentive and helpful. When it came to the bill, a dish I hadn't ordered was mistakenly added, but the staff immediately removed it without a fuss. The price is a bit high, but still in line with seafood restaurants in seaside areas. The only downside is the heat inside: I would have preferred the air conditioning on or a table on the outdoor terrace, where there was definitely more air circulation. In any case, I recommend it!

I don't usually post reviews. But I'll make an exception for Palua': it's the only restaurant on Calabria's northern Tyrrhenian coast that serves cuisine that transcends the usual restaurant/trattoria fare. If you're looking for an elegant restaurant with excellent service, well-crafted dishes, and a reasonable price, then book a table. If, on the other hand, you're looking for a place to gorge on low-quality, "truck-driver-sized" portions (no offense to truck drivers), you'll surely find what you're looking for elsewhere.

An excellent place to celebrate an event or enjoy a lovely Sunday lunch... a sea view that frames a culinary experience worth trying... We celebrated my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary and had a truly wonderful meal, quality products expertly cooked... the welcome and kindness are typical... good value!!! I recommend it 👍
