22/03/2026: The Peruvian chicken was very tender and delicious, with a light but pleasant marinade. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, perfect for an evening with friends. The waiter was immediately very helpful, even explaining the preparation of the dishes from a cultural perspective. Highly recommended!

26/03/2026: Cosimo is a very nice host and cooks excellent Calabrian food. We were cycling the Ciclovia dei Parchi Calabria and stayed overnight in Canolo at his son Alessandro's place. The room was perfect for us cyclists, with everything we needed...both are super nice hosts. Highly recommended to stop and stay overnight if you're cycling the Ciclovia dei Parchi Calabria! Grazie mille!

01/01/2026: I was here at the beginning of December, I went to Locri to visit some friends and they told me I couldn't leave without going to eat here. It is about half an hour from Locri, we passed through Gerace (a splendid village worth visiting) until we arrived in Canolo in the heart of Aspromonte (you can also get here by other routes, cycle path and for walkers the Brigand's Path). The location started around the 70s/80s with a small room which then expanded over time and now there is a large room that can also host weddings or ceremonies, the style and furnishings are from the period. Cosimo's welcome is family-like, it's like going to visit a relative, attentive, courteous service and available to satisfy any need. The menu is varied, here you eat the sincere and genuine Calabrian tradition there is little room for experimental cuisine, this is the kingdom of opulence we had a complete appetizer two samples of first course and a grilled (everything cooked very well and with the right flavors) everything was so abundant that anything we didn't manage to eat we brought home. The price if I remember correctly was €30, exceptional value for money. There's a large parking lot, and when it's warm, there are tables outside. Coming here, you quickly go from sea level to mountainside, and the temperature difference is noticeable—about 10 degrees Celsius in summer and winter, so come here with appropriate clothing. That said, I can't wait to return to Calabria to visit him again. If you're in the area, I recommend trying this experience.

06/03/2026: I discovered this pizzeria a few years ago on the recommendation of friends, and it was truly a wonderful discovery. Don't expect to enter a super-luxury place; here you enter and breathe in the nostalgic '80s; it's like stepping back in time. 🤩 Every time I pass through Cirò, I stop by. I won't tell you that the pizza is excellent, made with quality ingredients and a well-leavened dough—that would be superfluous—but I will emphasize the fact that the pizza is easy to digest, and above all, after several hours, you don't get that ravenous thirst that comes with an overly salty dough. Highly recommended 😉

12/02/2026: A welcoming and warm place. The friendly and polite staff made us feel very welcome. Various appetizers, including cod fritters, stewed cuttlefish, calamari bruschetta, tuna with sweet and sour onions, and much more... but above all, abundant and excellent quality. We didn't get to try the first courses because we opted for the fried calamari... which was also spectacular! We'll definitely be back!

The service was impeccable: professional, attentive, and always available, the staff made us feel welcomed and pampered throughout the evening. The comfortable and elegant setting made the atmosphere even more pleasant and relaxing. A perfect place for special occasions. Highly recommended!

16/10/2025: We stayed at Agriturismo La Palombara, a wonderful place completely surrounded by greenery for those seeking relaxation and the perfect place! The location is excellent for reaching Cascia, Assisi, Norcia, and more. Emanuele and Sara are two excellent hosts, always ready to pamper you and fulfill our every request. The breakfast was excellent, with homemade cakes prepared by the sweet Sara! What can I say? We had a wonderful time and will be back soon! ❤️
