04/01/2025: Servizio pessimo, disorganizzazione generale, ordine sbagliato ed hanno ben pensato di fare finta di nulla. Pizza rimandata indietro per assenza delle loro “patate aromatiche” e ritornata subito dopo con delle misere patatine fritte fredde. Nonostante le osservazioni sulla sostituzione di un prodotto con un altro hanno semplicemente dichiarato che quanto da me ordinato fosse terminato (lasciando il tempo che trova non avendo provveduto a chiarire in tempo al momento dell’ordinazione). Inutile dire che non hanno avuto nemmeno un briciolo di accortezza al momento del conto. PESSIMI.

12/05/2025: Very good pizzeria in an original setting! The pizzas are delicious, well garnished and with perfect dough. A real treat, to recommend without hesitation.

10/05/2025: After trying several times to book a table for two in this place, I finally succeeded on the evening of April 21st when I was in Soverato. I must say that the service is excellent even if with some small flaws, but what I didn't like was the pizza. I was asked if I wanted it modern or classic, which translated means with or without a cornice. We chose the one with the cornice. I had a Margherita with anchovies and my wife a Margherita. A serving of fries and two beers completed the dinner. The pizza arrived with cold mozzarella on top. If you look carefully at the photos published you can see slightly soft pieces placed on the pizza. Even the pizza didn't arrive very hot. In short, the experience did not live up to my expectations given and considering the flow of customers that this place has. The bill was also quite steep at 33.50 euros. 19/05/2025: The waiters welcomed us with kindness and courtesy even though I asked to have lunch at 2:45 pm, despite the inappropriate time we felt truly welcomed. The environment is super clean and the meals were nothing short of exceptional! We will definitely return to the bishop's inn.

The quality of the food, combined with attentive service and a good quality/price ratio, make it a point of reference for residents and visitors of Cosenza. I recommend it!

13/05/2025: We ended up there by chance and from the outside we couldn't tell if it was a butcher's shop or a wine shop. A very kind gentleman let us in and, even though the entrance looked like a butcher's shop, they then accompanied us to a room with tables. We took a classic cutting board: delicious cured meats, ricotta and exquisite cheeses, probably their own production. Very relaxing atmosphere with pleasant music. Very kind lady and very quick in preparing the cutting board. We found this exquisite place by pure chance!

29/03/2025: A beautiful gem in the historic center of Cosenza. Well-kept environment with exposed beams typical of the homes in the historic center. Very friendly staff. The products are refined and quality. I would recommend it for an aperitif or an aperitif dinner.

31/05/2025: I would do the 5 hour train ride again to eat the wonderful tuna steak with rocket and Tropea onion and the excellent mussels with pepper. The pasta with swordfish is superb!

01/09/2024: Premetto che vado a Cariati da 38anni ma solo dallo scorso anno siamo approdati su questo lido. La prima cosa che mi colpí fu l'attenzione alla pulizia (sí, cosa x nulla scontata purtroppo) e alla gestione delle aree, l'organizzazione e le regole di comportamento (sí, anche quelle necessarie ahimè), dalla spiaggia al lido stesso. Quest'anno poi, potendo stare qualche giorno un più, abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere meglio l'intero STAFF, persone competenti, grandi lavoratori, mai invadenti, accoglienti! Un GRAZIE all'intera famiglia Caruso per averci accompagnati, con la vostra simpatia, in queste settimane di ferie. Credo poi di parlare a nome di tutta la spiaggia, GRAZIE x i diversi PRIMI SOCCORSI che avete prestato. Per i bagnanti è tanta roba sapere di poterli ricevere. A rivederci al prossimo anno !

The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, a good selection of interesting wines 👍 Giuseppe organized instantly in 10 minutes for us to buy a local delicacy (dried fish) to take with us! 30/09/2024: Reservamos nuestra visita a través de la página web y nos avisaron que nos enviarían el menú la noche anterior para ver si todavía queríamos ir. ¡Claro que sí! El menú sonaba delicioso y la oportunidad de escuchar, discutir y probar los maridajes de vinos con la comida era imperdible. ¡No nos decepcionaron! Fuimos recibidos por Michele que nos mostró a nuestra mesa (fuera en una terraza preciosa con el sonido del mar a solo unos metros de distancia). Explicó que estaríamos probando una serie de platos regionales junto con lo que consideraron el mejor maridaje de vinos. Los platos llegaron a un flujo constante junto con el vino y nos encantó a todos. Por supuesto, los platos contenían un ingrediente único de la región: la cebolla Tropea, que hacía que cada plato supiera como algo que no había probado antes. La oportunidad de discutir cada plato / vino con Michele fue tan buena y aprendimos mucho de su conocimiento. Conocimos a Romana, la esposa de Michele y su hija. Lo que nos dio la oportunidad de agradecer a Romana por hacer los platos tan maravillosamente. Fue un asunto familiar basado en el amor y esto se produjo en la comida y el vino. Bien hecho Michele y Romana. Le deseo suerte en su restaurante y espero que mucha gente pueda probar la forma en que la cocina italiana debe saber.

18/09/2024: Mi padre y yo estábamos visitando Calabria para ver los pueblos de donde venía nuestra familia. Pasamos un par de días en Tropea, y Osteria della Cipolla Rossa fue lo más destacado. La comida era increíble - vino y comida. Era arte verdadero y delicioso. ¡Tan talentoso! Una experiencia única para aprender más sobre la historia de la región a través de la comida. Toda la familia era maravillosa. No puedo recomendar esto lo suficiente. La experiencia bien valió la pena, y un recuerdo duradero. ¡Esperemos que tú también lo disfrutes! Logísticamente, envíe una nota a su correo electrónico. Ofrecen clases de cocina o maridaje de vinos con alimentos. Hicimos lo último. Van al mercado cada mañana (no use refrigeradores, cocine fresco ese día) , por lo que el menú cambia todos los días.
