Delicious food and super honest prices. Very courteous and very helpful staff. We took several dishes with seafood and we were all more than satisfied. The wine is also very good and easy to drink. We stayed in the evening and there was a nice fresh air from the sea, during the day there is certainly a beautiful view of the beach.

Last night 08.09.2023 we were at the Piramide, we ate very well, helpful staff. Excellent first course, mussels, clams and pistachios, excellent tuna. Thanks to the owner and chef Raffaele.

Pizzeria - Trattoria Retrogusto

25/01/2024: We are in Amantea (CS) on the Tyrrhenian Sea near Cosenza. It's evening and we decided to just eat something. Walking along the main street we found ourselves in front of this "Retrogusto" pizzeria and restaurant and we decided to enter. The place has nothing distinctive but it is well kept and clean. I order a Margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella, the others order pizza, some meat. Since we have to wait a few minutes we decide to start with a snack, we are recommended the fried potatoes seasoned with porcini mushrooms, truly excellent. Once the potatoes and mushrooms have been devoured, it's time for the Napoli-style pizza, I found it cooked well and with good ingredients. Those who ordered something else, such as sliced ​​meat, found the meat tender and cooked rare, served with porcini mushrooms which are the main dish of the house. The service was efficient. A place to recommend.
