19/10/2025: "An Oasis of Refreshment on a Grey Day" ​I visited this café on a very rainy and grey morning, and fortunately I found some real refreshment. The barista was extremely kind and friendly, a true ray of sunshine! ​The coffee they served us was excellent; it revitalized our bodies and made our day decidedly brighter. A highly recommended place for the quality of the service and the product! Congratulations!

21/08/2025: Exorbitant prices, Bocchigliero is taking advantage of the tourist month of August, including locals. This winter, you'll be eating the receipts you don't get!

05/08/2025: As always, delicious. It's been a regular stop in the summer for years now. The salad with tomatoes, onions, and chili peppers is excellent and a must. The octopus is also good. The waitress was very friendly.

02/08/2025: Excellent experience! The quality of the products is top-notch: I ordered a platter, a tomato salad, an octopus and potato salad, and Venere rice. Everything was simply delicious, with authentic flavors and the freshest ingredients. Every dish was meticulously prepared down to the smallest detail. The service was also impeccable: the staff were attentive, friendly, and always available, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

13/07/2025: We visited this location for a dinner with friends: an elegant, welcoming place where we were filled with the pleasant fragrance emanating from the centerpiece, crafted with great attention to detail. What more can I say? A delight for all five senses! But the real highlight was the cuisine: truly top-notch, where even the simplicity of some dishes was expertly enhanced by the search for surprising flavor combinations! For me, it was a very pleasant surprise. Compliments to the owner—an excellent host—and to all the staff for the service provided, which was of the highest standards in many respects. Highly recommended!

22/06/2025: We were your guests for our anniversary and you reserved a romantic and comfortable environment for us. The quality of the food was excellent, simple and traditional dishes executed impeccably! The prepared and attentive staff pampered us and looked after us with exceptional care... comparing the quality to the price we consider ourselves largely satisfied and will gladly return.

03/11/2025: NO. A heartfelt and honest NO. An hour and a half, 1.5 hours, ninety minutes of waiting on an empty stomach to get: a pickled seafood salad and a nondescript, warm, mushy salmon. I'll skip over the FIORDILATTE and prosciutto passed off as mozzarella. But the highlight was the shrimp and zucchini paccheri, of which we've attached photos for posterity, with three pieces of zucchini, drowned in an ocean of cream that is absolutely impossible to offer today, or even yesterday. As we entered the "restaurant," a refrigerated truck was unloading 13 boxes of frozen fish under the sun, and when we—stupid, yes, but hopeful—asked the owner if the fish on the menu was frozen, he firmly stated no. Very fresh fish! Fresh from the freezer and brined from the fridge, for sure. Obviously, no mention of this on the menu... The price would have been average if the fish had been fresh. My husband proposes to raze the usurped space and return it to nature.

29/11/2025: I didn't stay overnight, so I didn't use the room service, so I can't give a review. The place is very well-kept and welcoming. Spectacular view. We were there with friends for a private event. Good food.

02/10/2025: My girlfriend and I went for lunch at this beautiful farmhouse in the Cirò countryside. At first glance, we were captivated by the exotic birds lining the path from the parking lot to the farmhouse restaurant. As soon as we arrived, we were seated on the outdoor veranda, surrounded by windows offering a beautiful view. We ordered a delicious white wine from their own production, a mixed appetizer of local products, and two first courses: cavatelli with the classic meatball sauce and spaghetti with sardines and crumbled taralli. To finish, we ordered Pizzo Calabro truffle. Everything was delicious, and the location was truly welcoming and peaceful; we felt right at home. The prices are fair. After lunch, we took a walk and stopped to say hello to the ostriches, just above the other animals (birds and turtles); they were docile and friendly. A perfect place to spend a day immersed in nature and in tranquility.

07/09/2025: Very nice location, nothing to complain about the service or wait times, but when we ordered a restaurant service, the cover charge didn't include bread, which wasn't brought to us. The worst part was the €2.00 gluten-free supplement for a peppered mussel dish, which is naturally gluten-free, and another €2.00 for a French fry, which they claim is always cooked in oil separately, regardless of our celiac preferences.

04/09/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. The hostess and staff are extremely kind. Superlative pizza! Delicious dough and well-seasoned. Excellent grilled fish. Highly recommended!!!

29/11/2025: We just visited the restaurant, and for two glasses of Roero Arneis, a bowl of chips, a bowl of olives, and four 6cm square pizzas, we paid 23 euros. A bit excessive and unusual. We're tourists visiting beautiful Calabria. Is that how it's done? Given the prompt response from the very kind owner, I have to be punctual too. A warm smile when we entered would have been a better welcome. We had to ask if we could have two glasses of wine. For the white wine, we were shown two open bottles, including Roero, and for a snack, we were offered a slice of pizza. We agreed to have the pizza, but we hadn't understood the girl. The two glasses arrived at the table without anything else. After a while, I asked for pizza, but the kind girl instead thought we didn't want it. After a while, the pizza arrived, and without our asking, along with the olives, chips, and the supposed peanuts that I couldn't remember. I should point out that we didn't receive menus with prices so we could understand what we were supposed to pay. Usually, olives, chips, etc., aren't charged because they're included in the price of the glass. At €7 for a Roero, perhaps they should have been included. We've never paid service at a wine bar, and we had no idea about this either. We've tried other places in Reggio and have always been treated well. I have friends in Calabria and I've never had any complaints. Dear owner, thank you for the experience. Long live Calabria and the Calabrians.

08/12/2025: Absolutely to be avoided, sky-high prices for minimal dishes, if there had been a lot of people there would have been a reason, but there were only my group filling the place and the food/price ratio is unspeakable.

14/11/2025: This evening I remembered to review it; I've been meaning to do so for a while. This is my second time back at this pizzeria, and I brought my father, an elderly man from the south, to visit me. The traditional Neapolitan pizza is delicious, flavorful, and light. We loved it and will be back. By the way, Stefano, the pizza chef, is a very kind and polite guy.

03/12/2025: I've known La Torroneria for many years, and during the Christmas season I order their torrone and other traditional sweets online. As always, delivery is fast, precise, and on-time. The products are out of this world; to say they're delicious is an understatement... Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: Non-existent service; it took an hour to order. I asked for a glass of sparkling water, and after 40 minutes they said they didn't have any. I don't recommend it.

09/11/2025: I have been eating there all the greenhouses for 8 months, I also celebrated my birthday together with my husband and the workers, we are in San Giovanni for work, we will bring back to Ragusa the pleasure of homemade food, stratospheric pizza and hospitality, they made us feel at home with kindness, availability, jokes and always with a smile.
