21/12/2025: I happened upon it by chance on a Sunday for lunch. I had a variety of arancini. Some were good, some not, so I gave it 3 stars.

18/10/2025: Come and taste the famous and traditional Arancini; it looks like a croquette, but it's made with rice dough – a real treat!

03/10/2025: A great place – right next to their own butcher shop. Delicious and original pizza. We had the Guanciale (with bacon) and Tartufata (with beef tenderloin and truffle cream). Both were worth trying. The house-made meats are delicious. I recommend it! 🤗

16/08/2025: Some things could be improved, and quite a bit, and I'm not talking about the location. Just pizza and a lot of beer with a Coke. The pizza was sometimes overcooked, absurdly the opposite. The peppers were almost raw and inedible. A little more attention.

29/12/2025: Christmas 2025. Excellent and beautiful restaurant overlooking the sea with a stunning view. Lunch with excellent dishes, rich in flavor with unusual ingredients, excellent service too. In conclusion, this is a place I absolutely recommend to Le Castella. We will definitely be back. Well done!

25/01/2026: I can't rate it as a restaurant, but the pizza was truly awful. We had a table of seven, seven pizzas that needed a chainsaw to cut, and they were incredibly tough. And then the annoying thing was that frying smoke was coming from the kitchen and filling the dining room. Perhaps the kitchen exhaust system needs to be improved. We had to take our jackets to the dry cleaners; I've never had anything like that happen in all the restaurants I've been to.

Quality, expertise, and courtesy are three key factors that have earned my trust. The pizza is excellent, both in terms of the quality of the dough and its presentation. I ordered a white pizza with four cheeses. I assure you, it was the first time I've ever tasted such a good pizza: light, tasty, and with a refined flavor. Usually, in other places, it's always been pleasant, but the flavor is too strong and strong because of the gorgonzola. This time, the result exceeded my expectations! Congratulations again!

05/12/2025: Very nice, modern place, and I really like the style and decor. Located in the heart of Catanzaro Lido, just steps from the seafront, you can have a quiet dinner or an after-dinner cocktail. I really like the marble tables and the marble cutlery holders, which is unique. Unfortunately, I wasn't as happy with the food. The first time I had a sandwich... I had salmon, and my cousin had a hamburger... both were hot on the outside but completely cold on the inside. The salmon was still nice, but not overcooked. The hamburger seemed cooked and reheated several times because it was lukewarm and even a little burned. The second time I went back for the pizza, which was good, but a bit heavy in the dough. I felt full until practically the next day, and even a little bloated. This is not just my opinion, but also that of those who were with me. I came back a third time because I was invited by friends who were celebrating their birthday there, and they told us we couldn't each have a pizza (I don't understand why) but that we could do a pizza tour... now, as far as I know, a pizza tour is about eating pizza until you're exhausted... at least that's how I've always done it everywhere... instead, there were 16 of us at the table, and they only brought us 10 pizzas... which was basically barely a slice or two each. With fries, potato croquettes, and a few other things shared with everyone... I left quite hungry... maybe they ran out of pizza dough? Well, I'll try to come back, but for now, I don't feel like giving it 5 stars... and the stars that do exist are mostly for the location and the courtesy of SOME of the waiters... # The review above is from about 4 years ago... Update: I went back after a while, and it's improved... both in terms of food and service! The pizza is much better, the dough isn't very light, but the combinations are very good. I tried the pulled pork meatballs... good but to be honest I've had better... the meat was a bit dry and needed a drink, an opinion shared by the other diners.

19/01/2026: We returned yesterday from a wonderful stay at this splendid hotel; it was a super enjoyable weekend. The helpfulness and kindness of the staff are excellent... Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were very plentiful and delicious. I hope to return next year for another wonderful weekend in the snow. See you soon.
