15/09/2025: We visited on September, very quiet and clean not big hotel. Lovely staff, Italian breakfast was nice, coffee very good. Room vas nice and clean, bed comfy.

12/09/2025: There was a mix-up with the booking, but it was quickly resolved by the owner. The location was excellent anyway.

24/09/2025: This pastry shop and café on Ionian Highway 106, in the center of Botricello, offers a vast selection of almond pastries, cookies, pastries, and brioches. Outdoor seating on a terrace set back from the road is a pleasant experience.

14/09/2025: More like fast food pizza, I've had better but cheaper from the electric oven, there are better ones in Diamante.

13/09/2025: Last night, for our diamond birthday party, my family and I went to a pizzeria. We put ourselves on the list and were told, already rudely, to stay around because they'd call us back in twenty minutes. Our mistake: we wandered off and missed our turn. We returned, asked without argument to be put back on the list, and were told to wait another twenty minutes. So far, so good, but the waiter, in an arrogant tone, repeatedly told us that we shouldn't have left and that we couldn't "go ahead of the others," something none of us had ever asked for. (Since we know how the profession works, the whole family works at a well-known pizzeria in Naples, but whatever.) When I suggested to my mother that we consider another pizzeria, the waiter rudely said, "Yes, maybe it's better if you leave; you've already caused too much trouble!" At that point, we actually left, making it clear that a place like this isn't worth our money. A surreal experience: unbelievable rudeness and discourtesy. As someone who's been doing this job for generations, I can only say that customers deserve respect: without them, we can't move forward. A little humility wouldn't hurt.

20/08/2025: My parents, Angelo and Giovanna, spent 10 days vacationing at this hotel with my uncles. I wouldn't exactly describe it as such, but rather...family-like. Run by a wonderful, close-knit, and competent family And above all, full of humanity. Here, people don't feel like a number; they feel part of a community. This, combined with the young, smiling staff, makes the stay very pleasant. Thank you so much. Monica70

02/07/2025: An enchanting place, in an ideal position to spend a relaxing holiday, masterfully managed by the Gentile Oliani Family, where the care for the customer is 1000/100, obsessive cleanliness, refinement and professionalism in the kitchen, in the preparation of typical dishes, with very fresh ingredients, elegant, youthful fine service, a treatment more like friends forever, than customers. 25/05/2025: Beautiful and welcoming structure but not suitable for contemporary receptions due to the lack of separate spaces. Today's experience was truly negative both for the rude noise and for the inability of the managers to limit it in favor of the other guests; furthermore we also had to endure the same menu as the contemporary reception. Added to all this are the not very polite responses of the owner who instead of apologizing for the chaos, at the end greeted us by telling us that this "is not a place for us"

25/05/2025: Il locale è carino, ma purtroppo è carente su molti aspetti. Abbiamo pranzato in compagnia ma non abbiamo potuto scambiare una parola con gli altri commensali, perchè il locale era adibito praticamente a discoteca Karaoke, per un folto gruppo di bambini con genitori al seguito. Niente da dire sui bambini, ma se scelgo un ristorante mi piacerebbe mangiare e conversare a decibel accettabili, altrimenti me ne sarei andato a mangiare un panino in discoteca. Strutture di questo genere che vogliono avere anche l'animazione con tanto di casse acustiche a manetta, dovrebbero avere locali preposti o per lo meno non accettare altre prenotazioni di persone ignare. Ma la cosa più offensiva è stata la risposta del gestore, che invece di scusarsi ci ha risposto che il posto non era per noi. Questa risposta da sola, varrebbe la recensione. Per quanto al cibo, niente di particolare a dire il vero, ma in questo contesto era il male peggiore. Naturalmente, non mi sento di consigliare questo posto, per lo meno a chi ha intenzione di pranzare in un ambiente accogliente anche dal punto di vista sonoro.

02/06/2025: Not the typical package holiday hotel but loving it. Nice pool area, food very good if a little limited but the friendly staff make up for it.

11/09/2025: A small, yet pleasant, restaurant, ready for a complete renovation. The selection is limited (including frozen items) and there's no menu. It's advisable to agree on the courses and their prices to avoid surprises on the final bill.

10/09/2025: Small place, decent food, for two spaghetti with mussels and three clams, fried anchovies and calamari rings for two people but it was for one and a two-liter bottle of water I paid sixty euros the price seems somewhat excessive to me, the staff is not very polite

07/09/2025: Among the wide variety of dishes served at this rotisserie, there are some excellent ones and others that aren't to my taste. I recommend the panzerotti, which due to high demand are almost always fried on the spot: be careful not to burn yourself! The staff is extremely friendly and ready to accommodate customers' requests even when the pressure of the crowd is at its limit. The ambience rating is influenced by the simplicity of the place and the limited seating available, divided between inside and an outdoor platform on Via delle Rose.

31/08/2025: We were deeply disappointed with this place. The wait was interminable: an hour and a half for our pizzas, with the appetizers arriving just 10 minutes early, almost as if they were a makeshift order. The most absurd thing is that our appetizer order had even been "accidentally thrown away," resulting in a further delay. Meanwhile, we watched the pizzas arrive at the tables that had sat after us, while ours arrived late, were small, and of truly poor quality. But what we find ridiculous and appalling was the handling of our simple request: we asked for less mozzarella on two pizzas, and were charged a €1 surcharge for each. Paying more for less is truly unacceptable. A terrible experience from every perspective. We definitely won't be returning, nor will we recommend it to anyone.

03/06/2025: The new management of Podere Pansera finally does justice to this wonderful place! Lush and well-kept countryside, silence, breathtaking views and a suggestive swimming pool. Welcoming and very clean rooms, incredibly kind and professional staff, excellent typical local cuisine and a breakfast so attentive and varied (with even high-quality pastry desserts) that it is worthy of note! A holiday of relaxation, peace and excursions! The elegance and cordiality in hospitality that you expect to find, perhaps, in the best tourist facilities in northern Italy has arrived in Calabria! Everything beyond expectations!

29/07/2025: The pinsa was good, but the 'mpacchiuse' potatoes were terrible (definitely reheated and made at least a day earlier). The service deserves a special mention; ordering is an ordeal. Despite your prompting, the person taking your order pretends not to see you, vapes, and wastes time (he really didn't do anything but come to take your order). I don't recommend it.

20/09/2025: We've only been to the beach resort...at the beginning of September, when they were already starting to put things away. The umbrellas are a bit too close together and a bit old. The bar is the hotel's, so you have to wear your swimsuit in the lobby. The sea is beautiful, though.

23/08/2025: Truly an excellent hotel with very polite staff and owners who take the utmost care of their guests. The cleanliness is truly excellent. The restaurant serves authentic, carefully prepared homemade dishes, and every day there's something new for breakfast, with everything a guest could desire. My wife and I stayed for a week and were truly satisfied with everything. Thank you to the owners and a heartfelt thank you to the staff. I will definitely be back. Thank you.
