24/08/2025: Above expectations. Week 16 to 23 August 25, family of 2 adults and two young girls. Superior room with half board. Beautiful, new, functional room. Positives: bathroom, attention to detail in the furniture and beautiful lighting, panoramic view, good housekeeping. (The wardrobe isn't huge, but if you plan ahead, it can be done.) Food: good, varied, and with careful selection of certain ingredients. Efficient and smiling service; the team appears organized and experienced. This is evident in the actions and attention to guests, expressed with much substance and few words. The sea is truly beautiful. The establishment is well-organized, but some services (such as showers) could be improved. I recommend the property because it's the right size for families, small groups, and even young couples.

10/08/2025: A very positive experience at this hotel. The sea is just a short walk downhill (just a few minutes). There's a shuttle service for lunch and dinner if you don't want to hike uphill. The superior room was beautiful, spacious, and modern. Good food. Impeccable staff. Pleasant evening entertainment. Mrs. Niki was a "sister" to us guests. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

25/08/2025: There are a few outdoor tables for dining in, but despite the fair and the holiday, we managed to find a seat. The pizzas and arancini were truly excellent. We chose the place for the gluten-free pizza, which was truly delicious.

21/08/2025: One of the best pizzerias if you're in Palmi, Calabria. Quality ingredients, excellent flavor, and friendly staff. The place is clean and nice, but nothing special. Would I go back? Absolutely.

13/07/2025: For my first time there, I tried the classic Margherita pizza, and it was delicious, well-cooked, soft, and full of mozzarella. While I was waiting, considering it was Saturday, I saw some pasta dishes pass by, which looked good. I recommend the pizza for the cooked dishes. As soon as I get back and try them, I'll be sure to review them. Overall, everything was good and affordable, highly recommended.

27/08/2025: Great for aperitifs and dinner! The pasta with garlic, oil, chili pepper, raw shrimp, and lemon is delicious. A truly lovely place!

05/08/2025: A little gem by the sea 🌊🍝 I went twice for lunch at L'Ammurrata and the experience was spectacular. The food is incredible; everything we tried was delicious and super filling. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact names of the dishes, but everything was delicious. The staff deserves a special mention: we were served by a very friendly and welcoming gentleman. When he realized we spoke Spanish, he called a girl who also spoke the language, and she was a delight. We asked for recommendations, and he suggested we try the typical Tropea fileja noodles with red onion (also typical of the area) and black olives... A total success! Plus, the view is spectacular, right in front of the beach. Since I was renting an umbrella nearby, it was perfect. I'm so happy to have found this place. I highly recommend it.

21/08/2025: My boyfriend and I had dinner at this place, discovered on a friend's recommendation. We were delighted, starting with the warm welcome from the staff, who made us feel right at home. We ordered the house appetizer, two first courses, a second course, and a side dish to share. We left feeling full (especially considering the generous portions 😁) and very satisfied with the food. Each dish was prepared with love and using locally sourced, quality ingredients. Typical Calabrian cuisine, just like home. We recommend the eggplant meatballs, the fileja with pork ragù, and the pollo al mattone (which was incredible 🫠). Absolutely fair prices. We'll definitely be back.

10/08/2025: We had dinner. The best Calabrian food you can get. The appetizers are amazing, really good. The beans were top notch, the grilled vegetables were top notch (even better than mine 😎). The handmade Fileia were truly exceptional. The best? The eggplant ones 🍆. Too bad I didn't get the rabbit.

06/07/2025: Siamo stati in questa pizzeria all’aperto in una serata d’estate. Il locale è carino, con uno spazio piacevole e ben tenuto, anche se purtroppo c’era davvero tanta gente e faceva molto caldo. L’attesa per ricevere la pizza è stata piuttosto lunga: oltre un’ora, il che ha un po’ rovinato l’esperienza. Il cibo era discreto, senza infamia e senza lode. Le pizze erano buone ma nulla di eccezionale, magari la salsa un po’ salata. Un punto a favore va sicuramente ai camerieri, sempre gentili e disponibili nonostante il caos e l’affollamento. Nel complesso una serata accettabile, ma da riprovare magari in un momento più tranquillo

29/06/2025: Cena squisita e ambiente molto gradevole, Principalmente pesce ma uno di noi ha preso anche la carne, ma la qualità non cambia. Ristorante pieno ma servizio veloce ed efficiente. Pesce fresco e ben cucinato. Ottima esperienza

04/09/2025: Everything was average, but the pasta and potatoes were delicious. Friendly service. Prices were a bit high.

24/08/2025: Maybe it wasn't the right evening... First, we asked for draft beer: it ran out. We settled for a bottle, because the second request never arrived. A mussels stew with pepper, where the bland and undercooked mussels were floating in a watery liquid devoid of any flavor, not even a drizzle of oil, garlic, or any other seasonings. The pepper was definitely added generously afterward (after the dish was cooked, before serving). The seafood cuoppo consisted only of fried anchovies and three small pieces of frozen cod with the skin still attached. Unfortunately, I was expecting a real seafood cuoppo... you know, that cone-shaped package that usually contains, as the name suggests, fried morsels of various fish, cod, octopus, calamari, shrimp, and not just anchovies!!! It would have been enough to write it on the menu or say it out loud. We added French fries to the order, because other types were also sold out. But were the ketchup and mayonnaise all out? Finally, the pizzas. Luckily, they were good. The outdoor setting was lovely, and the staff at the tables were friendly. An unsatisfactory experience.

25/06/2025: We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant during our trip to southern Italy. The food was great, but what truly stood out was the amazing staff – warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They took the time to explain the menu, made us feel at home, and handled everything with a relaxed and friendly attitude. We felt completely comfortable. Highly recommended – not just for the food, but for the hospitality.

19/07/2025: Outdoor seating, cool and breezy, excellent pizza, tender and tasty. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Maurizio is a wonderful person; we've always had a great time. We've been coming here for two years now, even in the winter, and I can tell you the atmosphere on the waterfront with the outdoor heater is even more beautiful. I recommend trying it. Pierluigi and I are very satisfied, and Maurizio and I have developed a beautiful friendship.

19/08/2025: The restaurant is decent. But a 4.5 seems excessive to me. It's recommended by locals, but make the effort to drive to other restaurants. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms drowned in oil. Veal tagliatelle was definitely too fatty. Fried cod was the only decent dish, along with the mixed salad. The bread was dry and hard. Too bad.

22/08/2025: The owner's arrogance and rudeness reign supreme. What's even more shocking is that this young owner should be enthusiastic about his business, demonstrating it to his customers with a smile and the patience that must characterize this type of work. Instead, he comes across as very surly simply because he politely pointed out that he had served a drink not from the refrigerator but from the pantry. He showed himself to be rude and violent. Your work must be done with love, otherwise you should find another job, which I highly recommend. Professional training is zero.

18/08/2025: Excellent ice cream. It's hard to find ice cream this good, reminiscent of the creameries in Bologna. Service could be improved. Only one person serving at the ice cream counter.

05/09/2025: I was in this place in August and I will never set foot in there again. The person who served me was rude and unprofessional and disgusted by his sexist jokes. Shame on me.

14/08/2025: I left Polistena this morning specifically to bring the kids here... we ate well, we didn't wait too long and the staff was excellent in everything.

09/08/2025: SHAMEFUL. We didn't order anything special: pasta with tomato sauce for our 3-year-old daughter and spaghetti with mussels and clams. The pasta arrived pre-cooked, reheated in a pan with basil pesto and tomato sauce, unsightly (as you can see from the attached photos). When we reported it to one of the "managers," he returned to our table with a BLACK container of pesto, saying, "See, ma'am, this is simply blended basil." We asked for a PLAIN pasta with tomato sauce again, and the result was just as unsightly and inedible as the previous one. The pasta with clams and mussels had almost all the shellfish closed, and the pasta, like the tomato sauce, was pre-cooked and compact. Price for the plain spaghetti? €15. The owners were RUDE. When we went to pay, they loudly asked us to vacate the table because it was already occupied by new customers. NEVER AGAIN!
