11/12/2025: L'Angolo del Paradiso is a quiet and welcoming place, with a simple yet refined atmosphere. The cuisine focuses on traditional flavors prepared well: generous dishes, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. A reliable restaurant for a pleasant, no-frills dinner.

23/09/2025: This review does not concern the restaurant itself, but exclusively the owner's behavior in an external professional context, related to the automotive industry. Before the service was provided, a contract was signed between the parties, clearly stating the agreed-upon costs for the car rental investigation. On May 27, 2025, I issued the relevant invoice for €1,068.90 (including VAT), due June 3, 2025. Despite repeated reminders, payment was never made, and since then I have only received delays and delays. This unscrupulous behavior is something I believe should be publicly highlighted.

31/08/2025: Small rest area far from the 106. It contains shaded pitches, a bar, and a beach. Few services, mediocre prices.

28/08/2025: The camper parking area is disgusting. It would be better described as a makeshift parking lot for €32 a day (3 people and 1 dog). Incredible. Let's take it in order: The bathrooms and shower (paid) are dilapidated. The pitches are not marked out. There are fountains around for other purposes, which can be used for a makeshift load. The drainage is a small grate at the entrance. Dishwashing sinks that can't be used because a camper decided to park in front of them, preventing anyone else from using them (but they were also dilapidated). The constant ringing of cowbells grazing on the adjacent land. The stench of garbage, which isn't collected, can be felt throughout the area. Making matters worse is the presence of a gas tank with a massive gas leak. When we reported the presence of gas, we were told it was normal. On the other hand, the sea is fantastic, with a mixed pebble and sand beach, as is the case throughout this area. Internet (all providers) has very little reception. Our four-legged friends are welcome and live with us constantly. They are free to come to the beach. There are two enormous (very good) dogs that roam free. Unfortunately, ours doesn't like the freedom of dogs that invade his property (our camper). Dogs must be leashed... or at most loose, but under the watchful eye of their owners. The price is: August 2025 for €35 per night... Unacceptable for the services not offered. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend... it's a shame they don't know how to exploit its great potential!

04/01/2026: Historic restaurant in Torre di Ruggiero near the Sanctuary. Homemade cuisine and excellent pizzeria. Also suitable for birthday parties, First Communions, and Confirmations. Recommended.

25/01/2026: The focaccias are phenomenal, but the rest is meh. The staff seems unenthusiastic, and it's very expensive compared to other bakeries. If you're going for the focaccias, they're fine; the rest is better elsewhere. I got two sandwiches for €9.

19/08/2025: Been here a couple of times, limited choice and (each time) they made us wait for at least 30 minutes *each time*. People who came later got it before us. The excuse was that they mixed up the orders. But it’s the third time this happened. They’re totally disorganised (owner always chatting), and friendliness is something from a different dimension. Said this, the quality of the products (gelato and granita) is excellent.

20/08/2025: Every summer, I stop by this place to try something. This year, I was unpleasantly surprised by the decline in product quality, portion size, and the exorbitant price increase. The pizza slices pictured cost around €9 and weren't even worth a single pizza. We then ordered arancini (dry, presumably frozen) and a stuffed calzone (which was all bread). I'm truly sorry.

26/12/2025: I was passing through and stopped for a pizza, perhaps the best in the area, you can really taste the genuine and fresh products, I had a 2.0 tuna with 10 and honors 👍

24/09/2025: We used the restaurant for dinner. It's accessible from the main road, with a 100-200 meter dirt road leading to the property's large outdoor parking lot. It's a beautiful, spacious location with indoor and outdoor tables, perfect for al fresco dining. There's a large, well-kept garden and a children's playground. Friendly staff and efficient service. We ate very well; the dishes were tasty, beautifully presented, and had delicate, well-chosen flavor combinations. The pasta with sea urchin and monkfish sauce was sublime. The tuna was incredibly tender, paired with grilled peach slices—a delight. The stuffed squid, also incredibly paired with pear and carrot slices, was incredibly filling and very pleasing. Everything was excellent, including the wine and the aesthetics. I highly recommend it, especially because when you eat this well, you pay the price without even thinking about it, but in this case, it was right.

27/08/2025: One of the best pizzerias in Morano Calabro, offering quick and delicious pizza. I personally recommend the classic Margherita with buffalo mozzarella. Even though it's a takeaway pizzeria, you can still eat outside at the tables. You can also customize your pizza with a wide variety of toppings!

20/08/2025: The pizza here is takeout, but you can also eat it nearby. The pizza is truly excellent, with fresh, quality ingredients. The staff is truly friendly and welcoming. The quality-price ratio is excellent. You simply must try this pizza when you're in Morano Calabro!

23/12/2025: An excellent experience at L'Avvenire: top-quality seafood and truly well-prepared dishes. The dining room is simple and unpretentious, but the real asset is the owner, extremely friendly, helpful, and always attentive to guests. I won't review the rooms since I only used the food and beverage service.

The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean, and it also has outdoor spaces where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The restaurant service is exceptional, with delicious dishes and delicious pizzas, all prepared with meticulous attention. We were treated wonderfully by the owners and all the staff, with professionalism, attention, kindness, and friendliness. In our opinion, we spent some magical days at this hotel. We highly recommend it. Congratulations, truly.

25/09/2025: The location is cute, clean, and very tidy, with both indoor and outdoor tables. We chose the outdoor area, which was a great idea because it's surrounded by a green garden with nautical decorations, a combination we really liked. We weren't very hungry, so we went straight to the main course. The swordfish rolls were really good, with a delicate flavor, very pleasant and refined. The mixed fried fish, consisting of mixed seafood, shrimp, and red sole, coated in a very thin batter, was also crispy and very fresh. The staff were friendly, it wasn't crowded or noisy, and the music was soft and pleasant. For two main courses, a water, a coffee, and a cover charge, we paid less than €50. Since the restaurant is located on a small, fairly narrow street, I recommend parking on the main road, where there is free parking.

In the cool, quiet garden, unpretentious cuisine, yet deliciously rich and made with excellent local produce, can complement any friendly, often family, conversation, because ultimately, you also feel like a guest of a friendly and welcoming family. The service is discreet, precise, and punctual.
