06/09/2025: A wonderful stop after a tiring day, we went up to this chalet where we were welcomed by the very kind staff. Wonderful food, served with care and dedication, ideal for a relaxing meal in the mountains surrounded by greenery. From appetizer to dessert, everything was truly delicious. We left with a smile and the satisfaction of those who eat well. Well done!

01/07/2025: This Chalet has been closed for a long time but fortunately it has now reopened thanks to the good will of Leonardo who is also a breeder and Massimo (chef). It is a beautiful structure, located in an area where there are only woods around and is on the path to climb the mountain to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Viggiano which I recommend visiting not only for the spiritual suggestion but because from there you can admire a unique landscape spectacle. The Chalet welcomes guests both for overnight stays and for refreshments. For those who want to experience the mountains and nature on weekends it is the ideal place. The rooms all have an internal bathroom, are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is spread over several levels and the kitchen is managed by Massimo, an excellent and friendly chef, who served us delicious dishes. Here you can eat both meat and fish so we indulged ourselves with sliced ​​beef and fish dishes (the stewed cod with potatoes was excellent). The breakfasts are mostly savory (boiled and scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, etc.) but there is also sweet. The structure has a large parking lot and the wonder is the crisp air that you breathe at sunset and sunrise. Excellent quality/price ratio, but the kindness of Leonardo and Massimo are priceless. Highly recommended!

12/06/2025: I've been going to Luciano's farmhouse for 13 years and I wouldn't change it for any other in the area. He and his family are good people, his wife makes excellent cakes... the food is good and homely, the rooms are basic but clean and then you are surrounded by a fantastic view.

09/08/2025: Very negative experience for me, we are numbers for them but not refugees. Everything you see in the photos did not match the reservation, the lady did not show up on arrival but only by telephone, attic, so low that I banged my head continuously, small window, very narrow bathroom without window and without ventilator and what's more it was not specified to me that breakfast would be outside at the bar far away saying, only a cappuccino and croissant, I had to make the coffee myself, truly mean, I do not recommend it to anyone.

02/08/2025: I stay here every year for the holidays and it's always a pleasure to return. The B&B is equipped with every comfort and is strategically located right in Maratea's main square. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very welcoming. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs is also highly recommended (excellent pizza).

22/06/2025: Che dire, cibo ottimo ed abbondante e soprattutto a km zero!!! Il signor Antonio e suo figlio Vito ci mettono davvero tanta passione e questo si vede nei piatti che arrivano a tavola! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!!! Consigliatissimo!!!

29/06/2025: Atmosfera genuina, piatti deliziosi e un’accoglienza che scalda il cuore. All’Oro Verde ogni dettaglio parla di passione: dalla cucina fatta con ingredienti freschi e locali, fino alla disponibilità di Alessandro e Milena, padroni di casa straordinari. Se amate il tartufo, qui troverete il meglio: sapori autentici e porzioni generose. Tutto è preparato con amore e attenzione — si percepisce che fanno il loro lavoro mettendoci l’anima. Tappa obbligata se siete in zona. Torneremo sicuramente!

05/05/2025: Prima volta a Viggianello, abbiamo trovato questo ristorante pizzeria all'ingresso del paese. Ambiente familiare, rustico, tipico dei nostri paesi lucani. La prima sera abbiamo gradito antipasti e pizza. Soddisfatti, siam ritornati anche la seconda sera a gustare dei primi a base di prodotti tipici locali. Grazie a Milena ed Alessandro per l'ospitalità, per i sorrisi e per la cordialità (non sempre scontata). Alla prossima!

01/08/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale la nostra esperienza non è stata delle miglior vedesi foto in allegatoi. Abbiamo preso una fonduta tutto era che una fonduta, la abbiamo fatta riportare indietro. Personale cortese e pronto a rimediare

31/07/2025: Ottima carne, antipasto veramente tipico, i miei figli hanno preso la pasta col sugo e hanno apprezzato molto. L’unica pecca: i dolci, erano un po’ secchi ma per il resto lo consiglio vivamente.

31/07/2025: Emiliano è un proprietario eccellente. Offre un servizio accogliente e professionale, come anche i suoi collaboratori. Dai primi piatti ai dolci, siamo rimasti piacevolmente soddisfatti. Condivido alcuni dei piatti assaggiati qui.

21/06/2025: Ci sono stato a pranzo ieri per lavoro. Locale molto fresco ed accogliente. Una trentina di posti a tavolo. Ho mangiato una cacio e pepe più che buona innaffiata da un calice di Aglianico molto buono. Ho chiuso con un dolce esternamente di cioccolato ma con l’interno al pistacchio molto buono. Conto in linea con i prezzi della zona

02/08/2025: Un'amica buongustaia mi ha consigliato questo posto e mi sono fidato di lei. Non posso che confermare quanto mi aveva detto: piatti della tradizione ma fatti bene bene... in un ambiente accogliente, bello, nuovo, pulito. Peperone crusco, pasta con caciocavallo, peperone crusco e mollica fritta, salsiccia luganega con cicoria, ottimo vino alla mescita, purtroppo siciliano anziché lucano. Un posto in cui tornare!

21/06/2025: Locale tranquillo ed accogliente. Piatti della tradizione lucana e non solo caratterizzati da qualità e buon gusto. Nulla è stato buttato sulla tavola per caso. Ho percepito cura e dedizione per la cucina. Dai peperoni cruschi, al caciocavallo podolico arrostito fino al ruccolo, deliziosa pizza focaccia tipica. Personale cordiale ed educato. Bella mangiata, bella serata. Prezzi normalissimi.
