22/10/2025: The atmosphere is rustic, and unfortunately the owner stopped a regular customer from smoking inside. Aside from that, I was very helpful and kind. The takeout pizza was good and crustless, just how I like it.

11/10/2025: The products are mediocre.... The prices are excessive for a small town. Another very important thing is the owner's manners, which need to be improved. He speaks to you and serves you as if he were doing you a favor. He's unsociable and unwelcoming! I won't be returning and I strongly advise against it!

12/09/2025: It's a place I frequent often, and I can say that the products served are delicious and of excellent quality. The desserts, ice cream, cakes, and panettone are all excellent.

19/10/2025: The pizzas are good but there are better ones around. The dishes are from 1990 and are not innovative and they are very bland. The flavours are not noticeable, you only feel overcooked pasta and hot water and not only that, we asked for a defrosted dessert and it was brought to us.

19/10/2025: Amateurs on the loose. Capacity x, number of people 3x. I've never seen so much improvisation and incompetence. People feeling sick from the unbreathable air, heat, and chaos. Children with their hands over their ears because of the chaos. People being moved from one table to another while dining. People packed like sardines with no room to move, every square inch used, not even enough room to walk from one table to another. Waiters with no experience whatsoever, owners worse than them. To make a few hundred euros more, they seated an excessive number of people. It's hard to imagine a worse experience than this. At the end of the evening, the bathroom was like a restroom at a service station.

26/08/2025: The place is nice, but the food and menu selection are truly meager, at least for appetizers, first courses, and second courses. There are plenty of pizzas and they look good. We ordered fettuccine with mushrooms and provola, which tasted like oil and provola, but the mushrooms weren't there. The pasta with cod, on the other hand, isn't bad. I also recommend removing the images of giallo zafferano from the menu.

27/08/2025: The atmosphere certainly isn't that of a high-end restaurant, but if we're happy with a homely atmosphere, we can appreciate the quality of the food. The flavorful dishes are surprising. Well done!

24/08/2025: As a place, it's a dump according to the trattoria classification of 40 years ago, but other than that, we went there on the recommendation of people who told us they had found good food. We went on a Saturday evening, after being given a verbal menu with three first courses and four second courses, we only tried the first courses because the rest didn't inspire us..... In short, we ordered a tagliatelle with ragù, a matriciana and two carbonara. The carbonara pasta was tasteless, the other two seemed to be made with jarred sauces like those used by the stars.... disgusting stuff, I've never eaten so bad, anything other than home cooking 🤢🤮. We paid little €12 each for a pasta and a beer. I can't understand if they have haute cuisine at lunchtime or if those who told me they ate well perhaps don't know what it means 😤

07/07/2025: Nella stagione estiva la cena è servita nel vicolo di fianco al ristorante. Abbiamo gustato girello di manzo marinaro al ristretto di aglianico, zuppa di fave e cicoria, guancia di suino. Il tutto annaffiato da ottimo vino locale. Personale cortese.

14/08/2025: We stumbled upon this pub by chance on our way back from a vacation in Maratea. The place seemed very welcoming, with a large outdoor area and well-spaced tables. Excellent food and a very good selection of beers. The Angus burger, pictured below, is high-quality. Fair prices, highly recommended.

11/08/2025: A crudaiola was made with mozzarella, flakes of fresh cheese, 3 or 4 small pieces of tomato and a pinch of rocket. I was disappointed.

23/09/2025: The owner is attentive and meticulous, and it was my first time dining at this restaurant. Kudos to the quality, with a good balance between price and service. Definitely worth a try.

03/08/2025: I went for lunch today, the starter was poor, there was nothing good, two first courses, tagliatelle, mushrooms and sausage, 8 chicken wings, second course divided between two people and two slices of watermelon, price 67.00, we won't be going back again

17/08/2025: On a trip to Troina, we decided to have a pizza 🍕 at this restaurant/pizzeria called L'Orchidea! I felt like I was back in the '80s, with large, cold rooms and dated furnishings (tables, chairs, and tablecloths). It's clean, with a bar at the entrance and very young, obviously inexperienced staff. And now the pizza! Nothing special, but classic, perhaps a little toasty, but everything was cooked thoroughly (even too well), but for Ferragosto (August 15th), it's a good idea. Honestly, I'll try other pizzerias in the area!

26/06/2025: We were seated immediately and were able to order quickly, which initially made a good impression. Unfortunately, the food didn't arrive at the same time – some at the table had to wait over 45 minutes. It seemed as if we had simply been forgotten. It's a shame, because the start was promising, but the service significantly dampened the overall experience.

05/08/2025: A pizzeria restaurant with quality products! Excellent grilled food, and the calamarata with cruschi and fish is a must-try! Friendly and helpful staff! A must-try if you want to experience the local specialties in all their glory!
