30/01/2024: Conoscitore con esperienza più che decennale dei prodotti Roadhouse. Sempre il meglio. Esperienza del 28-01-24. Pranzo dominicale in famiglia. Abbiamo gustato delle ottime costine in promo. Portate servite da personale attento, gentile, educato e ben preparato. Dolci e caffè per terminare il pasto. Tutto perfetto. Peccato davvero solo che questo posticino appena scoperto in quel di Palermo abbia chiuso. Davvero ingiusto che in una città così grande ce ne stava soltanto uno. Speriamo riaprano.

19/03/2025: Locale caldo e accogliente, spettacoli di qualità che però si pagano a parte . Qualità medio buona della carne ma si spende veramente tanto ovvero facile arrivare a 100 a testa con vino . La cosa che però più ci ha infastiditi è pagare 3 gin tonic 70 euro . In nessun posto li abbiamo pagati così cari . Bicchieri tra l’altro stretti e lunghi non adeguati e nessun sconto visto che avevamo già cenato . Mi sembra veramente esagerato anche per chi può spendere .

01/03/2025: In questo posto, dalla gradevole ambientazione argentina, hanno completamente perso di vista il senso della realtà sui prezzi praticati, in relazione a quanto viene offerto. Di fronte ad un tale eccessivo, esorbitante ed ingiustificato livello di prezzo anche ciò che si mangia, di qualità medio-alta ma pur sempre dei tagli di carne, passa in secondo piano. Con un antipasto, un filetto alla griglia (accompagnato da dei minuscoli contorni da dividere in 10 commensali…….), una bottiglia di vino la più economica della carta, ed un dessert conto da oltre cento (100) euro a testa. Superfluo il commento. Non casualmente e ormai da tempo i tavoli sono spesso vuoti e quindi anche L atmosfera col locale poco occupato e’ purtroppo meno conviviale.

22/02/2025: Bel locale, atmosfera anche se caotica, piuttosto piacevole, come stare a casa con tutta la famiglia. Carne molto buona, da migliorare la cottura della bistecca al sangue, in realtà la carne è stata solo appoggiata sulla griglia, al centro era completamente fredda, ciò nonostante, l'abbiamo gradita.

03/02/2025: Esperienza complessivamente mediocre, caratterizzata da diverse criticità. Sarebbe opportuno informare sin dall'inizio che gli antipasti a base di carne, come carpaccio o salsiccia cruda, devono essere ordinati direttamente al banco macelleria. Un aspetto rilevante è la mancata possibilità di scegliere il grado di cottura della carne. La tagliata servita risultava eccessivamente cotta, mentre una cottura al sangue avrebbe esaltato maggiormente le qualità organolettiche del taglio. Dopo aver selezionato i tagli al banco macelleria, mi aspettavo di ricevere un dettaglio specifico delle carni scelte, comprensivo del peso e del relativo costo. Tuttavia, tale informazione non è stata fornita, lasciando incertezza sulla quantità acquistata e sul prezzo corrispondente. Una maggiore trasparenza in tal senso sarebbe auspicabile. Un episodio particolarmente spiacevole è stato il ritrovamento di un capello negli straccetti di manzo. Sebbene comprenda che incidenti possano accadere, l'igiene in cucina deve essere una priorità assoluta. Inoltre, segnalandolo al personale di sala, non ho ricevuto alcuna scusa per l'inconveniente, denotando una mancanza di attenzione al cliente. I dolci erano di buona qualità, e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è risultato economico rispetto a quanto consumato.

30/09/2024: Since Sottomura changed management, the place has become a place to avoid. I've been here three times and something's wrong three times. The first time the place had just changed management and the guys were young people recently hired, so I apologized for the disorganization, the delays, the uninformed waiters, etc. Furthermore, I had just had a drink and in the end I had even succeeded in my aim. The second time it went the same way, with the addition of the fact that we had also ordered chips to eat, and these arrived at least forty minutes after we finished drinking the drinks. The last time, last night, we ordered a series of drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, including sweet soft drinks and dry soft drinks. At first, the waiter snorted and protested when faced with various but legitimate requests, to the point of forcing some of us to change the order to standardize the order and avoid the bartender having to prepare too different mixes. Then, he brought some drinks instead of others, also asking us to take them anyway instead of the ones we had ordered because otherwise they would have been wasted. Of two negronis taken, one was full, the other was halved (obviously we paid both in full). Finally, after everyone settled their bill, we were informed that the accounts didn't add up and some drinks hadn't been paid for (which wasn't true, it was clearly their mistake). In short, if on the two previous occasions we were a little disappointed but in the end we were satisfied, this time we have to write a review here also to warn any other customers. Place to avoid. I also gave 1 star to the environment because I personally find the new furniture very sloppy, but beyond this: in a bar without a dance floor, where people go to spend an evening in company to have a drink and chat, how would you think of placing a deafening DJ set just a few meters from the tables? Obviously no one was dancing (also because, I repeat, there was no space). Summary of the experience: nonsense. Especially at these prices.

08/09/2024: Welcoming and very hospitable place, clean and tidy, friendly and well-trained staff, fresh and very tasty ingredients, spacious and clean bathrooms, cocktail area with pleasantly relaxing (not annoying) music

01/05/2025: Two of us ate under the sun, because the only table in the shade was occupied by a man who shouted on the phone without any drinks. I turned to the manager who practically did nothing. Italian customers have no rights before certain subjects....👎👎

25/04/2025: The waiters are always available, they help as soon as you have finished, they clean up and then prepare the food, they are very quick, there is a room above just for eating, small but comfortable

15/04/2025: As for the quality of the meat and cooking, nothing to say, excellent in every way. Zero stars instead for the coffee, yes because I noticed that the barista neither purges nor cleans the dispenser with a brush. A coffee that tastes rancid and burnt. I advise against coffee unless you want to consume only caffeine.

16/04/2025: Returning from Florence, at the Barberino del Mugello motorway exit, we find three adjacent restaurants. Some are literally crowded with people still waiting at 2pm. Since we have little time and are very tired, we decide to venture towards the one that least inspires us, namely "Da Imma". Externally it appears like a simple tobacconist's bar... Once inside we discover that on the lower floor there is a large room dedicated to catering. Although it is located in the basement, we are not closed within four walls. In fact, we find a large window through which external light filters and creates a particularly pleasant environment. The portions are more than generous. I took a fillet strictly requested rare but which was served to me at what I believe to be medium rare...

21/04/2025: Terrible experience: I arrive and after having ordered at the totem (with the place empty) the blonde lady with glasses whose name, unfortunately, I don't know, rudely tells us by making a gesture with her hands to start taking our things and moving. Then my friend and I go over to get our drinks and she angrily replies that 'she wasn't talking to us'... After pointing out to her that the place was empty and that we didn't think it was a problem to wait in front of the counter, as soon as our orders were ready, she didn't even call our number and, when I realized and looked at her, she pointed to the board where the order numbers were written. Furthermore, she also got the drinks in one of the two orders wrong, checking the receipt arrogantly and replying annoyed. I honestly wonder how it is possible for such a rude person to work in contact with the public and having worked in catering it bothers me even more to receive such terrible service. I won't be back :)

21/04/2025: Long waiting time for the order, dirty impression in the dining room

21/04/2025: Passo spesso da queste parti in viaggio per lavoro, ho scoperto questo ristorante grazie a una persona del luogo, e da allora cerco sempre di fermarmi per la cena in questo ristorante quando passo in zona. Ho assaggiato un po’ tutti i piatti del menu dalla carne ai primi passando per i salumi e per i dolci. Direi che il mio piatto preferito restano i ravioli di “mucco pisano” (prezzo 12€) è un bel piatto di ravioli ripieni di carne locale conditi con un abbondante ragù sempre fatto con carne locale. Molto buoni sono anche le carni e i salumi. Per un antipasto carne dolce a cena, sei intorno ai 50 €. Però ci sono altri piatti, come ad esempio i primi, che sono più economici. Questo locale fa anche la pizzeria, anche quella è molto buona. Ogni volta che sono passato in questo locale in qualunque giorno della settimana, l’ho sempre trovato strapieno sia in estate che in inverno, sinonimo del fatto che la qualità della loro cucina è apprezzata anche da gente del posto. I dolci, prezzo medio 6€, sono un po’ piccini, per rispetto allo standard. Se si cerca un ristorante con carni di qualità, questo è il posto giusto.

21/02/2025: Cambio la precedente recensione per sottolineare quanto una gestione oculata faccia la fortuna di certe attività (insieme alla qualità del cibo e del bere). In una precedente occasione c'era stata un'incomprensione - causata anche da mia inesperienza - che aveva portato ad una brutta esperienza, ma il titolare e il direttore hanno fatto sì che l'impressione tornasse quella di prima, ovvero di un luogo di eccellenza.
