08/02/2026: I had to wait a good half hour because, due to restaurant issues, it wasn't possible to book a table. Otherwise, everything was excellent, as always.
05/02/2026: I got the impression that this restaurant was poorly managed. The waiters were visibly disorganized and uncooperative. It was a truly disappointing experience.

28/01/2026: Terrible food. A "Risotto with Taleggio" arrived at our table, something unimaginable! We sent it back because it was overcooked and tasteless. After 2 minutes, the lady at the cash register came to scold us for sending the food back. Guys, we are simple workers and we eat anything, but not even dogs could eat that stuff. Furthermore, the "Lady"'s attitude was not wrong. If I send a plate back, you have to come and ask me what happened, don't come and scold us like grandma for not wanting to eat the substandard food I wanted to stuff in our mouths! It was the first and last time we went to eat there. If you want to eat quality food, you have to go to Fratello in Spino d'Adda at the grill.

07/03/2026: I wish I could actually give a review of the food, but unfortunately, having waited 80 minutes for an appetizer, I'll limit myself to one star. It could be the perfect place to accompany a game of Risk; 5-6 hours of play should be enough to enjoy a full dinner.
The only positive note: the waitress tried to apologize for the situation, an attitude that absolutely didn't come across at the cashier, without even a single €1 of shame.

13/03/2026: A restaurant from another era! Quality and flavor, tradition and passion. The platter was delicious, I hadn't eaten tagliatelle like this since my grandmother made them, and the trio of beef steaks was spot on! Highly recommended.

At Oste Maurizio, you don't just go for good food—you go to feel at home. Every dish is a treat; you can taste the passion and love that goes into everything. From the first to the last course, it's impossible to find anything less than delicious.
Maurizio is a wonderful person, incredibly sweet, always attentive and authentic: he manages to create a family and genuine atmosphere that makes every evening special.
A place where I always return with a smile, because I know it's the true flavor of Sicily and a heartwarming welcome.

The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly, and intimate, even with Maurizio, who puts guests at ease and knows how to recommend and make suggestions.
Excellent quality food, generous portions, and a decent wine list.
Good value for money.

20/10/2025: We stayed there for two nights. We appreciated the beautiful and well-kept environment. In particular, the impeccable cleanliness and the size of the bathroom, which was above the average standards of other hotels. The location is ideal for traveling the Chianti road to San Gimignano, which is considered one of the most beautiful roads in Italy.
