The food is classic OWW, like everything else. The service gets an extra star because the staff was friendly. As for the ambiance, if you consider the exterior, you're not in just any place; that would be 9 stars, but I think the rating refers to the interior, which is OWW standard. Everything that follows is a suggestion and has nothing to do with the review: that's how it is now, and the OWW standard, that is, what the boss says, is that, but Venice is unique and deserves something unique: an "OWW Venice" furnished—I hope that makes sense—with similar furnishings, from the same period, but Venetian!

The food here is really good, we fancied some good English food for lunch for a change and gave the Old Wild West a try. It was very quiet when we ate but service and food was good.

Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning. It was 30 degrees Celsius inside at 8 pm. The restaurant itself was otherwise okay, the food average.
Good food, nice American vibes especially for those who want to escape Venice atmosphere. Went for dinner on a Sunday and planning to return later for apertivi etc..
Service was fast and staff is polite, I read some comments on bad service, so I believe it depends on day and time, but my experience was good.
Didnt try the whole menu, but what we ordered (burgers and chicken) were very good.

I tried Old Wild West and its a fun cowboy-style vibe, and the burger I tried was juicy with a nice smoky flavor. The portions were generous, though the service felt a bit slow when it got busy.
