24/02/2026: The pictures don't reflect reality. The pool is nice, but swimming ends at 7 and you have to wear a swimming cap, even for babies! The sunbeds are also paid for at the paid campsite pool.. a bicycle is mandatory, because the area is huge, at least 10-15 minutes to the beach.. On the 3rd day, our bicycle was stolen from the parking lot opposite the restaurant. A padlock is mandatory in a closed campsite. We have been camping for 7 years, nothing has ever gone missing, neither in Austria nor Slovenia. There is no toilet paper, soap anywhere, the cicadas are so loud that we often talk while shouting. We have no idea where the children's program is, there is minimal information. Oh and the worst thing is that the party goes on until dawn, so you can't relax until a quarter before 1 am. The music is blaring every night, even though we are far from the concert area. I don't recommend the campsite.

15/03/2026: They are very friendly, they offer you an aperitif right away, they bring you something to nibble on and they ask you how you prefer your meat, and this is a great place and I recommend it to many.

02/03/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant near Assisi by chance. We were warmly welcomed, even with our Czechoslovakian wolf. We dined there two nights in a row because we wanted to try the different dishes. We ate everything very well! The staff was very kind! I highly recommend it...

24/02/2026: We went to this restaurant with the kids and I can say we had a great time. The food was very good, the service was excellent and attentive, and the prices were fair. The traditional torta testo, pasta, and house antipasto were delicious—at least that's what we ate. Congratulations! If we return to the area, we'll definitely come back to you.

13/03/2026: Always delicious! The rotisserie chicken is fresh and fragrant, as are the skewers, pork neck, and porchetta! The side dishes are reminiscent of those you'd eat at an old friend's house... A special mention for the pizza!!! Peppe is fantastic! The prices are truly ridiculous! 100% recommended!

06/01/2026: My family and I had seen this place in passing every day on the way out of Porto when we caught the various busses to travel around the island. It fronts onto the busy road so is obviously very busy during the day. Do not, repeat NOT be put off by the location of this place, it is a fantastic little grill and the food is amazing and easy on the wallet. We had kebabs, chicken, fish, pizza, good God, so much really, really tasty food. Good service and friendly staff, what looks like a busy road side venue during the day turns into a great place to sit, relax and watch as people turn up to collect take away food. We didn't actually think we'd ordered that much, but had to take some home with us as we couldn't bear to leave it!!! To sum up, we spent a week on Ischia and dined all over the island, I can honestly say Antico Girarrosto Ischitano was by far the best place we had the pleasure to visit. Saluti Antico Girarrosto Ischitano!!!

17/02/2026: We dined at Aperitif Bistro last night (2/16/26 around 7:00PM). We were expecting it to be very busy, since it was a holiday and also the Monday after Valentine’s Day weekend. But it was surprisingly slow. We were perfectly fine with that, as we wanted to have a nice quiet evening. Our server was Jamal and as many of the previous reviews state, he was very nice. I can see why everyone wants to have him as their server. For drinks, we ordered the Aperitif Martini and a Shirley Temple. Both were very good, and my husband, who loves Shirley Temples and orders them everywhere we go, said that his tasted much better than other places we’ve been to. For appetizers, we ordered the escargot and risotto fritters. They were delicious! For our entrees, we ordered the Coq Au Vin Blanc and Fricassee of Scallops. Both were very good. I think the scallops would’ve gone fine with just the truffle cream sauce, it was so good! The butternut squash puree was also good. The leeks were okay (I’m just not a fan of leeks). Both dishes were delicious, I’d definitely recommend them both. It was kind of difficult finding a good French restaurant and we’re so happy to have found Aperitif Bistro. They share the same owners as Sage Bistro in Woodbury (which was actually my second choice). We can’t wait to dine here again.

15/03/2026: What a wonderful experience today, just a stone's throw from Lecce, we felt pampered and everything was delicious, from the staff to the dishes, we will definitely be back!
