An interesting, quaint place with rustic, down-to-earth cuisine. If you like hearty food, this is the place for you. I found the prices a bit excessive for the simplicity of the dishes.

We went to this delightful, small but very charming restaurant on August 14th. I felt like I was at home. Mrs. Giusy, who cooks the meat, is a truly exquisite person. Her assistant in the dining room is also lovely and kind. The food was excellent. Exceptional local products. The meat was perfectly cooked. Excellent prices considering the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommended.

19/04/2026: Champion League...don't order sparkling water....it's not necessary....speed, efficiency, education, quality, everything is top notch, the real restaurant in the historic center....
12/04/2026: As for the pizza, I can say it's delicious, excellent quality, perfect dough, everything perfect. Very polite. We paid €24 for two pizzas, cover charge, and water.

Ristorante Pantagruel

09/03/2026: Sometimes you discover a restaurant on a trip that becomes part of the experience itself. That was PantaGruel at Posta Donini for me. The food is exceptional-elegant, creative, and beautifully plated, while still highlighting the flavors of Umbria. Each dish felt thoughtfully composed and memorable. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up dining there five evenings in a row. It became the highlight of each day. The service made it even better. The waiter ran the entire dining room on his own with such ease and grace, making every table feel attended to and welcome. Truly a special place. I’m already missing it.
