29/11/2025: I was in the area and decided to stop for a snack. I was immediately drawn to some babà, so I decided to try it! Delicious, and not at all dry, finally a babà that tastes like rum 😍! Of course, I got some sweets to take away, and those were delicious too! Next time, I want to try their fortified aperitifs, they also caught my attention 😅😍

12/10/2025: Very beautiful and quaint location. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The servings were well spaced. I chose the menu with appetizers, two main courses, a glass of wine, and dessert. Everything was very good, and the portions were well-balanced. Excellent value for money. I'll gladly return.

From your table, you can watch the rhythm of Modica slowly unfold: tourists wandering a bit aimlessly, locals going about their daily routines, groups of old men lingering over conversations, their voices carrying through the air. Sitting here, you feel part of the city’s gentle morning pulse.

08/12/2025: Beware. Lady charged us $32 euros for 3 chocolates (retail price $15 euros). She said the eftpos was not working, obviously ripping off tourists and pocketing the difference. Disappointing customer experience, go elsewhere for chocolates.

19/11/2025: Our lunch experience at this Osteria was a positive one. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. Even though it was very busy the service exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the good food and especially the many varieties that were served.

05/11/2025: I already knew the restaurant from having been there several times for work, so I decided to return during a weekend in Modica and Ragusa. I had a fantastic idea: I found the legendary Fabrizio, whom I hadn't seen in about seven years. Then I sat down and ordered a very small local appetizer, by choice. Then we ordered a portion of Lolli cche favi (typical pasta with fava beans), which turned out to be a portion for three, a challenge for two to finish. Then I ordered the pork with tomato sauce, a second course featuring rabbit and vegetables. Everything was delicious, the sauce very tasty and cooked to perfection. I hadn't eaten such a tender, succulent, and flavorful piece of rabbit in many years. Congratulations to all the staff, see you soon.

13/05/2025: We were recommended by our Airbnb to stop at this pizza place and I’m so glad we did. The owner was so nice and we enjoyed the food. We will certainly return.

17/11/2025: Yesterday, Sunday, November 16, 2025, the Modica County Study Center held its social lunch in the welcoming rooms of the "Ornato" restaurant, located in Modica's historic center. In a warm and comfortable atmosphere, Chef Luca Ornato delighted our palates with a seafood menu, which was greatly appreciated by the diners. Special thanks also go to his wife Marisa and the kind and friendly Martina, the dining room assistant. I recommend seafood and good food lovers to try this restaurant. The President.

17/10/2025: We chose the five-course tasting menu for dinner. The dishes were all excellent and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the gnocchi with clams! The staff was courteous and attentive throughout the dinner. It was an absolutely positive experience and definitely worth repeating!

Every detail is meticulously crafted, exuding a sense of warmth and belonging, even to those who enter this enchanting place for the first time. The staff is kind, friendly, and professional. The food is superb! I hope to return to this corner of Sicilian wonder soon.

25/10/2025: When I go to Scicli with my family and friends, I always return to this restaurant. The quality and price are impeccable. The outdoor location is spectacular, in the most beautiful little square in the heart of Sicilian Baroque, near the Montalbano police station. It's very well-kept and beautiful inside, even on the coldest days. The owner, Franco, and his wife, Maria, are wonderful people. I highly recommend it. See you next time!!!
