03/10/2025: Frozen and poorly reheated food. The owner isn't even friendly, and everything is very expensive for the quality of the food. I don't recommend it.

15/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati in questo kiosho attratti dal locale pieno e dalla location.Abbiamo preso 2 birre bruschette 2 con tartare di tonno pomodori secchi e mandorle e un panino tonno pomodoro e cappi tot 31…se avessi guardato prima il punteggio su tripadvisor non mi sarei mai fermata,come è mio solito fare,però sn contenta di non averlo fatto…era tutto buono…per il prezzo bisogna considerare tanti fattori quindi direi che ci sta

14/09/2025: A disappointment that hurts, especially when it comes to an institution like La Trizzera. The new management is slowly destroying a historic landmark for Agrigento. A real shame! Sincere praise goes to Mr. Diego and the wait staff, who with professionalism and courtesy tried in every way to apologize for the enormous delay. It's worth noting that many of those present were longtime customers who continue to frequent the restaurant only thanks to the trust placed in Mr. Diego, whom they knew and respected from the "old" and true Trizzera. But unfortunately, there are limits that not even good will can overcome. After waiting two hours without being served, we left without eating anything. The pizzeria is clearly not capable of handling over 400 covers in an acceptable time frame. In these cases, it would be more appropriate to limit entry rather than ruin the experience for everyone. Better to have fewer customers, but well served, than many and disappointed. The staff was visibly mortified. The management? Absent. In certain situations, we need to have the courage to stand up for ourselves, not pass the buck to those on the front lines. In time, I will give the new Trizzera a new chance, hoping that these suggestions will be heeded. Otherwise (unfortunately) I will have lost a point of reference.

09/09/2025: Overall, a terrible experience. The first courses were overcooked, flavorless, and late; the only good thing was the mussel soup. On a positive note, the waiters were there, especially Giulia, who was very kind and assisted us throughout the dinner. They pointed out several things we hadn't ordered without even apologizing for the incident. The owner (who was at the cash register) and (I presume) his wife immediately became annoyed with us because we wanted to split the bill Roman style. Not recommended.

15/10/2025: Fantastic sweet rolls with ricotta cheese, sandwiches, and coffee. Very nice people ❤️. Thank you! ❤️❤️

14/10/2025: The only thing that stands out is the lady who works at the tobacconist's, she's very kind. As for the female bartender and the boy who works the shift with the bartender, both of them need a smile course and a crash course in greeting when the customer comes in. As for the food, it's excellent, the pastry shop is excellent.

12/11/2025: We bought a black and white cake, which we didn't like because the rum flavour prevailed over the rest of the ingredients, and unfortunately we weren't warned about the presence of the liqueur. It's the first cake that contains liqueur and, compared to other cake shops, the price per kg is too high.

31/10/2025: I regret having to write this review because the waiter served us very well, but today my mother and I went for breakfast and when it came time to pay, the man was incredibly rude to us simply for wanting to pay by card. This is the first time this has happened to me in all of Avola, and it's a shame that such a lovely place is ruined by someone who is always in a bad mood and treats customers poorly.

11/10/2025: Maurizio was very kind and welcoming. The caponata was the best I've tasted in the Aeolian Islands, and the stuffed squid with sauce was wonderful! Thank you.

05/10/2025: For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)

21/11/2025: Excellent service, friendly staff, available for any request, reliable shipping, delicious, fresh products. I recommend it even for those who don't live locally; shipping is fast and you can even choose the delivery time and courier. Wonderful.

02/09/2025: The lady at the counter was disarmingly rude and impolite. The granita was nothing special, but I understand that the woman at the counter could have had a bad day... but with that attitude, she's making it bad for everyone else, too! Change jobs, it's not the right fit for you.

06/12/2025: Average service, very long wait for our dishes. We waited hours for our appetizers and even longer for our first courses. Average food.

28/12/2025: The service was quite poor...It was something like: + Are you open? - Yes, of course we are We sit down, the waiter comes and we order. Few minutes later, he brings the drinks and says: - "I am sorry guys but I forgot to tell you that we're closing in 30 minutes." Then, having shots with the employees in front of the customers when they are queueing up is not very professional (secondo mie...) Expensive as the main street in Taormina, spritz senza amore...

03/11/2025: Cozy little place! BUT 12 euros for a bottle of beer - it must be one of the most expensive in town. It was definitely our most expensive beer on our entire vacation

23/09/2025: Absolutely loved it here! One of my relatives brought us and everything was delicious and the place is super clean. Fantastic ice cream and biscuits brilliant. Cakes looked amazing!

17/09/2025: Unfortunately, I have to give 1 star because it doesn't give a 0. Terrible service. I had to order some travel sweets, and the girl at the counter, besides being annoyed and bothered (I don't understand why she does this job), also got the order wrong. They passed off one product as something else (instead of Nutella, there was pistachio spread). The product deteriorated during the trip. The cannoli, which were supposed to be filled with pistachio Nutella, turned sour, despite having been transported with due precautions. Besides throwing away two trays, it also made a bad impression (to say the least), given that they were a gift. I'm sorry, never again.

10/07/2025: Questo locale si conferma su livelli di ottima qualità! Decisamente buone le granite, ottima la rosticceria! Personale molto cortese e rapido! Il tutto contornato dalla posizione sul lungo mare scogliera della città! Decisamente un posto ideale, per incontrarsi con amici e trascorrere un po' di tempo insieme, gustando roba di qualità.

03/01/2026: Unacceptable and Discriminatory Behavior During my stay, I witnessed openly offensive and discriminatory comments directed at people from Catania, made by local customers. The most serious thing is that Giulio, a bar staff member, did not intervene in any way and openly agreed with those customers, allowing derogatory comparisons and stereotypes (such as the derogatory comparison of Catanese to Neapolitans) to be easily normalized. As a Catanese, I felt directly affected and deeply offended. A place that tolerates—or worse, ignores—this type of behavior lacks professionalism and respect for its customers. A terrible experience on a human level. I will not return, and I do not recommend the place to anyone expecting even a modicum of civility.
