16/04/2025: Bad experience I will never go there again! I stopped to eat a cunzato sandwich as they call it which only had two slices of tomato and two very thin slices of cheese, practically a scam; anyway sandwich plus two coffees 7.80 another mockery. Today 16th April in the summer it will cost at least 16 euros

16/04/2025: It should be noted that I am not one to write reviews, I happened to eat "cunzato" bread for two different days, the first time acidity, the second time luckily nothing because I threw away acid cheese first, leaving aside the exaggerated price.

28/09/2024: You will find this bar, the first place when you get on top of Tindari, and it’s really worthy to stop here!!As the title already says , we found all the staff very welcoming and the two panini we got, with parma ham,mozzarella and lettuce, were very tasty and fresh!

11/05/2025: I'm really sorry that I can't give a higher rating, but there were some flaws, certainly unintentional, that somewhat characterized the lunch spent at Demetra! First of all, it must be said that the place is very large, welcoming and during the summer it also offers outdoor spaces! The negative aspect is the difficulty of parking nearby! The staff was also very kind and helpful and I am sure that there will be no shortage of opportunities to return (perhaps to try some of the wonderful meats on display) and review this opinion positively! As for the sore points, unfortunately there were some misunderstandings with the service and in the kitchen: the starters were served quickly and, especially the caponata, they turned out very good! On the first courses (which were then the main course), however, there must have been some problems, because they took a long time to come out and what's more, one was asked to be well cooked and was served to the limits of chewiness, so much so that it was left almost whole, while in another the pasta arrived overcooked (a shame because the ragù wasn't bad)! It was also asked if it was possible to prepare a chicken cutlet for a child, but it was admitted that the order had been completely forgotten and had to be asked again! In other areas it would seem postponed to September, but I hope to return earlier and have confirmation that it was just an isolated episode!

02/06/2025: Apparently a refined restaurant but actually it turned out to be the opposite. We ordered three portions of spaghetti with clams, unfortunately we found sand in the clams and the fish themselves were raw. Disorganization among the staff and unhygienic table service even if very expensive.

02/06/2025: Excellent location in the center of Marina di Ragusa. (basically you eat on the beach) Pretty good service and excellent selection of wines. I recommend the Serafino tagliolini. Very tasty. Fairly well-equipped beach

14/04/2025: Una rápida parada de bebida después de un día ajetreado de compras. El entorno era agradable, el tiempo era perfecto y aparte de algunos asientos mixtos (algunos confortables, otros no) era un gran lugar para parar. Los cócteles eran agradables y grandes, ofrecían una gran variedad. La comida se veía bien, pero no estábamos comiendo y la mayoría de las mesas no eran lo que consideraríamos comida de comida adecuada, más bocadillos y mordiscos.

30/04/2025: Insolito Cafè is a nice place with friendly staff. We came here for a flat white, which we often drink elsewhere. Unfortunately, the coffee didn’t match our expectations at all. The cup was too big and had way too much foam, so it felt more like a cappuccino. What we got had nothing to do with a proper flat white. In the photos we saw nice latte art, but what we received was an average to poor cappuccino, nothing special. Taste was way to week. Not sure if it was a double shot.

28/05/2025: We ordered fillet steak with mushroom sauce. It was tasteless and swimming in cream and oil. Left the whole meal.

17/04/2025: Absurd. Never again. We had a gin and tonic, an orange juice and a Sprite. Total bill: €23. The gin and tonic can also cost €9, but paying €7 for a juice and €7 for a simple Sprite is beyond all logic. The justification? The "piazza" (i.e. two chips and some peanuts) is paid separately, and with different prices: – +2€ with gin and tonic – +4€ with juice – +€4.50 with Sprite It's a shame that no one tells you anything before, no price list, no explanation. Only the surprise at the bill. And to think that in many other bars the square is offered for free. A truly disappointing experience, with disproportionate prices and zero transparency. We won't be back.
