11/04/2025: The place is not very clean, the staff are listless, no greetings either upon entry or exit and not even a courtesy smile. Too bad, I definitely don't want to go back.

02/04/2025: A little expensive compared to the quality offered, although on the main course a glass of Fiano (two fingers and not an excellent Fiano) and a practically untoasted toast with a slice of ham and a slice of fontina costs 12 euros. The boy who served the tables (alone) was extremely kind.

17/05/2025: Outdoor zone offers a nice Taormina vibe. Spaghetti seafood is well balanced, not too salty, and Tiramisu is yummy!

17/05/2025: Everything was tasteless! The orange & fennel salad looked like my 6 year old granddaughter put it together. They give you tasteless balsamic to put on it and salt. Grotesque! The pasta with sardines was just awful. I’ve had it twice before while visiting Sicily this week. I’ve had great pasta with sardines. This pasta was mushy - the manager gave me some BS that it’s homemade asta so it’s not Al dente. BS! Even the bread is tasteless. So many better places to eat!!!! I wasted a night in Taormina!

24/04/2025: Siamo stati in questa trattoria ieri sera, trattoria incrociata mentre passeggiavamo sul corso: ci sembrava una trattoria semplice e genuina, quello che cercavamo, e ci siamo fermati. La signora ci è sembrata gentile e aveva anche preparato il seggiolone per il nostro bambino. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti e due primi (un piatto di pasta e una zuppa, oltre ad un piatto di piccole penne al ragù per il bambino), una bottiglia di acqua e una di vino. Specifico che al momento di scegliere il vino (costo bottiglia 25€), la signora ci comunica di non averlo, pertanto ne scegliamo un altro di costo leggermente inferiore. La cena fila abbastanza liscia, anche se la mia zuppa alla fine era un minestrone..e, al momento del conto, ci troviamo un prezzo maggiorato del vino, a nostra domanda diretta la signora ci risponde che di quel vino ci sono diverse cantine e lei ha scelto di darci quello che piaceva a lei 😳 si sottolinea che avevamo indicato il vino Frappato che desideravamo, ma, a prescindere, se l Oste sa di avere diverse cantine di quel vino, e’ suo onere chiedere quali si desideri e non scegliere arbitrariamente la cantina da assegnare al cliente, casualmente anche più costosa. Detto ciò, non abbiamo fatto storie, l abbiamo segnalato, poi pagato il conto e andati. Questo spiacevole episodio ci ha rovinato la cena e sicuramente non ci torneremo più.

20/02/2025: We consumed two croissants and two hot coffees (which were served cold), after which we had to use the bathroom: WE ARE DISGUSTED. Commercial business to be completely renovated!!! I don't think we'll set foot there again. TO CLOSE!!!

27/05/2025: To go to this place I paid €100 for mediocre food we ordered the catch of the day and we received a farmed fish €46 burnt grilled vegetables €10 and so on everything poor few things.... bad night indigestible..... try it and believe it

22/04/2025: We happened to pass by and saw a garden from a fairy tale. I ate a savory tomato and onion pastry and they prepared a perfect cappuccino for us. Friendly waiter (he didn't understand English, but one guest kindly translated our order). Beautiful ambience and decent service and prices. Another plus is that you were the only one open for guests during the afternoon when everyone else was closed. That's why I gave you 5*, because I'm grateful that you exist. Thanks for the hospitality I recommend you from the bottom of my heart❤️

04/01/2025: Happened by chance while waiting for the ferry to Malta and having to work. Quiet place, very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Good desserts. Thanks for “hosting” me!

03/06/2025: Pranzo veloce a San vito vista mare con ambiente piacevole e pulito, peccato per le arancine scandite e fredde dentro con formaggio ancora gelido. Le peggiori della nostra vacanza. Peccato! 15 euro per due arancini e una bottiglia di acqua.
