11/10/2025: Maurizio was very kind and welcoming. The caponata was the best I've tasted in the Aeolian Islands, and the stuffed squid with sauce was wonderful! Thank you.

05/10/2025: For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)

31/10/2025: I regret having to write this review because the waiter served us very well, but today my mother and I went for breakfast and when it came time to pay, the man was incredibly rude to us simply for wanting to pay by card. This is the first time this has happened to me in all of Avola, and it's a shame that such a lovely place is ruined by someone who is always in a bad mood and treats customers poorly.

18/08/2025: I'm giving one star because I can't give zero. We got around 10:00. We took a lane to play number 9, which was malfunctioning, and that's not all. The lanes were asymmetrical (the ball always went in the opposite direction you pointed it). Really unpleasant. They didn't have a change machine, and they have games from year 0. Take other bowling alleys as an example.

18/04/2026: Charged 1 euro service fee for a cup of coffee?? Ended up with 3 euro cappuccino, wasn’t great- foam was off and too much milk

26/07/2026: Two gelatos served in standard glass bowls, a little cream, and a small bottle of water: total €14. Paying €6 each for gelato seemed really excessive, especially since I wasn't satisfied with the flavor. In various seaside resorts, for similar bowls, we've paid a maximum of €4 each.

08/07/2026: The mango granita has the consistency of ice cream, the almond granita is tasteless.

03/11/2025: An exceptional experience with an al fresco lunch overlooking the sea. Quality dishes and excellent service. Prices are in line with the dishes.

12/07/2026: The food was delicious and the staff were very nice too, but the toilet was dirty, so that was a downside.

09/07/2026: After visiting Taormina mid-morning and spending the afternoon in Isola Bella, we decided on the way back to the car to visit Taormina again to have their famous cannoli at Pasticceria Roberto and then have a drink before returning to Catania. There were so many people, and the restaurants and bars were packed. We were about to leave without ordering anything, but then we stumbled upon this place that surprisingly had very few people. There were four adults and two children. We went in, sat down at some tables, and after a while, the waiter came. One of the children had gone to the bathroom, and I took advantage of the opportunity and went just as the waiter arrived. When I came out of the bathroom, I saw the waiter talking to the others, and when I started telling him what we wanted to order—an Aperol Spritz, some beers, water, a Coke—the waiter gave us the dinner menu. We told him we weren't going to have dinner, just drinks. He replied that he couldn't serve us what we were ordering because, since it was dinner time, you either eat or have a drink, but it all had to be cocktails. We responded that we wouldn't order anything then, basically because... There were two children, and I don't drink alcohol... and we were leaving... to which the waiter replied that two of us had used the restroom, wasting water and toilet paper, and that he had to charge us... we were stunned, but we still asked how much we had to pay... and he said €5... I've never in my life had it cost me so much to relieve myself... we paid the €5 and left... NO WONDER THE PLACE WAS ALMOST EMPTY WHEN ALL THE OTHERS WERE PACKED... it's the first time in my life that someone in a bar has told me what to drink... oh... and another thing... the waiter implied that we came in to go straight to the bathroom and intended to leave... which isn't true... at least not in our case... if we only wanted to use the restroom, we would have gone to the cable car restrooms, which are a 5-minute walk away and on our way to the parking lot where we had the car.

08/07/2026: Terrible owner. No wonder the place is empty. How this place is still in business is beyond me. Place Stinks as well

15/07/2026: Palermo's historic McDonald's, but nestled amidst the traffic of Piazza Einstein. Inside, it's like any other McDonald's, except for the food and service.

14/07/2026: Let's start with the assumption that the night shift staff should rush to refresh their manners and good manners. As a former restaurant worker, I would NEVER, ever dream of kicking a customer out of the restaurant, even at closing time. They wait for the customer to finish their meal. Moreover, I had ordered table service and was denied it. If we were to discuss the quality of the service, I'd be shocked. The ice creams arrived half-melted and completely drained from the packaging. Not to mention the 15 minutes it took for a chicken burger, which is literally a piece of chicken between two slices of bread with half a smear of mayonnaise. For a fast food restaurant, that seems completely illogical. The restaurant itself is truly the dirtiest and most neglected McDonald's in Palermo. In the past, I've had mediocre experiences with drive-through and delivery from this same store, blaming the poor service on the crowds that build up inside. But I can't even handle face-to-face service with customers seated at their tables. Shameful.

12/04/2026: 3,5€ for a bagel and a Cornetto I think I got scammed its much cheaper elsewhere. The waiters seemed nice the boss made the payment processing. Apparently open until 2 but when I played at 1 the boss was annoyed

04/07/2026: Terrible experience. The staff was rude, impolite, and disrespectful to customers. I was sitting at a table with a group of friends and got up because my little girl wanted a cookie. I had to ask several waiters several times, but no one bothered to listen to me, explaining that they were "in a hurry." Only the cashier, very kindly, granted my request. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. We asked for the menu and were given a curt and rude "no," without any explanation. They would have simply said that the menu wasn't available. When, after a long wait, they finally came to take our order, they served our drinks in glasses in pitiful condition: full of streaks and stains, decidedly unhygienic. A truly disappointing experience from every perspective. We won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.

02/07/2026: Inedible fiordilatte ice cream!!!

01/07/2026: Had two lemon lemonades on the terrace. An unfriendly lady charged 12 euros for these two drinks (6 each), while the price displayed at the cash register is 3.50 each. They charge tourists whatever they want here. Must not do.

28/06/2026: Superb experience, very friendly waiter. Reasonable prices and a large terrace away from the crowds.

21/05/2026: Tourist trap. Bad pizza and arancini old and burnt unfortunately nice spot otherwise..

03/05/2026: It's not worth visiting. A total tourist trap.
