01/03/2025: Esperienza molto deludente. Sono entrato nel bar con l’intenzione di godermi un caffè veloce, ma sono stato costretto ad aspettare quasi mezz’ora, nonostante non ci fosse molta gente. Il personale sembrava disorganizzato e non c’era alcuna comunicazione su quanto tempo ci sarebbe voluto. Alla fine, quando finalmente ho ricevuto la mia bevanda, non era nemmeno preparata come richiesto. Peccato, perché il locale ha un buon potenziale, ma l’attesa e il servizio scadente mi hanno davvero fatto riflettere se tornare. Purtroppo non credo di volerci tornare.

05/05/2025: This place was recommended to us, we trusted it, not at all crowded for an Easter Monday and without infamy or praise, there were two of us, with my partner we sat outside, slow service from the kitchen, unstable table outside in the alley, we ordered a tasting of raw meat for two (little selection) of which the sea urchins served without a teaspoon to help with the tasting and two first courses with octopus sauce and the other with stuffed cuttlefish sauce, ate it all because we are of the opinion that food should not be thrown away as long as it is edible, but really tasteless sauce, the fish only the presence but really tasteless and sauce among other things also undercooked. He gave the idea that it was a simple base of freshly made tomato sauce sautéed at the end of cooking with octopus frogs on one side and cuttlefish scraps on the other. The place is characteristic, the environment is quiet and the waitress at the tables is professional, good looking and attentive, but that's not enough, the cuisine needs to be improved a lot. Adequate price if we had eaten with taste and not out of appetite.

28/04/2025: An excellent place from all points of view. Welcome (including the wonderfully clean and tidy stone room), table service, dishes and beers. A pleasant discovery that certainly deserves to be revisited and reported among the best pubs.

21/04/2025: Nice find. Cozy place especially avoiding weekends. Wide choice of foods and appetizers to accompany with beers. The only note for which I gave 4 stars: the prices of non-craft beers both in bottles and on tap, a little above average. Advise

27/06/2025: I stopped for a quick lunch but, despite being recommended, I didn't enjoy it. Rotisserie food, a normal first course but for the second course (tempted by the sausage with roast potatoes) I only got the sausage paying as if I had taken the side dish. It's not the cost but the principle: why were the others brought sausage and potatoes and not me? (And yet when I went to pay the potatoes were there and lots of them)... Then while I was eating I had to put up with the unpleasant smell of degreaser because they had to clean the nearby tables right while I was eating... The prices are like those of a rotisserie but I really don't think I'll go back.

22/06/2025: Splendid place on the sea with a fabulous view of the Purità beach. You can drink very well and enjoy excellent aperitifs. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, and the staff is simply excellent: kind, attentive and super professional. Highly recommended for those looking for relaxation and quality in a unique location!

18/06/2025: You can't miss the sunset in Gallipoli from here! Excellent platters and bruschetta. Friendly and fast service. Too bad a seagull stole a slice of ham with a maneuver worthy of a stuka! Highly recommended. Reservation required!

15/03/2025: I spent a pleasant evening, a real discovery for me as I'm not local. I couldn't choose between the staff and the food. The staff is very welcoming, always ready to answer all questions and, above all, always with a smile. The food is excellent, with tasty and well presented dishes. I highly recommend this pub. I will definitely be back!

03/02/2025: The food is truly delicious and the portions are quite generous. The meat, highly recommended, is of excellent quality. The side dishes are delicious and there is something for all types; the service is reasonably fast once you have managed to order... there are many tables, unfortunately all concentrated in a space that is not particularly large, and there is only one boy who takes the orders. All in all, the place for lovers of the rustic and the typically Irish location, with exposed beams and wooden tables and chairs, is ideal.

03/03/2025: Excellent place in terms of food. I go there especially for aperitifs or after-dinner desserts which are of a very high quality and vast choice. Also an excellent place for savory specialties even if you haven't personally tried them but I don't think they can lack in quality based on what I've seen and ascertained. Very friendly helpful staff. Average environment, modern furnishings, nothing particular to note, however very comfortable. For me a meeting and relaxation point.
