14/03/2026: A restaurant in the historic center with a wonderful view of the ravine. Typical Murgia cuisine with products and flavors from times gone by. Locally sourced ingredients. Very friendly staff.

18/07/2026: Birbacco is a place you'll want to return to. The owner's hospitality is truly exceptional, as is that of his staff: kind, helpful, and capable of making customers feel at ease. The pizza is good, with a well-made dough, although, in my opinion, it's not yet excellent. The only real sore point is the beverages. The bottled beers are almost exclusively craft or otherwise unconventional labels, with flavors that differ from those of classic beers like Nastro Azzurro, Heineken, and the like. These are only available on tap, but for many people, myself included, draft beer is not a suitable choice for health reasons. As a result, the only alternative is often water. This is a shame, because when you plan an evening with friends, you also want to accompany your pizza with a pleasant beverage. This limitation, unfortunately, can lead the group to choose another pizzeria. I hope this observation is taken as a constructive suggestion: expanding the selection of bottled beers with some more traditional labels would make the experience even more complete.

12/07/2026: This was my first time at this pizzeria (and not only). The menu is varied, with piadinas, meats, burgers, and much more. I had the pizza, and I have to say it was amazing! The service was attentive and fast. The outside location was beautiful! The inside is also very nice. Even though it was a Saturday and the place was packed, the staff was friendly. The owner was also kind and friendly, despite having a world on his plate. They even offered a complimentary amaro. We'll be back!

08/07/2026: Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in the area. Excellent quality, from the ingredients to the plating, you can taste the craftsmanship and attention to detail. The service is attentive, friendly, and always present without being intrusive. A special mention for the chef: top-notch technique and a truly wonderful person; you can taste the passion he puts into what he does. Thank you ❤️

14/06/2026: We had a lunch reservation. We arrived an hour early, and although they were still closed, they offered us water. We were also given free rein to visit their fantastic wine cellar. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Peppe Zullo even came around to greet each guest and exchange a few words. The rather long drive from Bari was definitely worth it. We will certainly be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

07/06/2026: Amateurs, if you book ten days in advance, you show up at the venue and they tell you there are no reservations. If we want, we can take the goods and eat outside. Because before we arrived, a bus had arrived, and they preferred to reserve the seats for them. Change jobs. 🤦🤦

22/07/2026: Loved the atmosphere and friendly service of this neighbourhood bar! Prices are reasonable, coffee is very good, granita of gelso is delicious as well as their ricotta pastries. Came here twice during our stay in Monopoli.

09/10/2025: One of the best places for breakfast. We're on vacation with our three small children and found this place. The service was very friendly and quick. One lady even speaks German—a huge compliment! The food was exactly as described and truly delicious. The pancakes were outstanding, especially the one with yogurt and fruit. Not even that sweet, which we love. Thank you so much for the friendly service, the great Italian music, and the joy you radiate with your work. You can really feel that you run this café with love. I highly recommend coming here.

19/08/2026: We stayed three nights in the hotel next door and were recommended to have dinner at this restaurant. We loved the atmosphere, the welcome, the decor, the waiter and waitress, the owner, and of course the food so much that we ate there all three nights. I recommend everyone stop by; the local cuisine is a real treat for the taste buds.
