04/06/2026: I didn't find the city of Brindisi all that great. Betty Cafe on the promenade down by the sea was perfectly fine. Friendly and helpful staff.
03/06/2026: Went both for lunch and dinner. Down to the staff There was a Sgt Major of a waitress who looked very stern. She was wonderful and made a simple lunch most enjoyable Dinner all male staff food as good as ever but without our asgt Major so not the same. Go for lunch it's relaxing good view and looking out on the harbour. Or just go for a drink. Recommend a visit and hopefully you get to meet the Sgt Major

Spartan design, lavish pastries, exceptional gelato. Everything homemade, everything worth it. Open almost all day, which is either a gift or a threat depending on your willpower.
Leave the calorie counting at the door.
20/04/2026: Cozy little coffee bar where locals are constantly walking in and out for a coffee.
Really good coffee and all kinds of sweet treats. Perfect for breakfast and just a coffee.

05/12/2025: Excellent customer service, excellent food quality, and excellent customer service.
We stopped by by chance, thinking we'd grab a drink and some appetizers for a quick aperitif, but then we decided to stay and enjoy the house specialties in a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, accompanied by excellent wines. The owner is very kind.
We'll definitely be back.
Highly recommended.
27/10/2025: Fantastic food. Perfect balance of flavors. Attentive, friendly service with helpful advice. It's a shame we're traveling further. We would have loved to return.

We were treated like at home even though we're from up there!
07/05/2026: The prices are very reasonable. They have fish, octopus, shrimp, calamari, mussels, whatever you're looking for. They open at 8 PM, so it would be great if you could be there around 7:40 PM. The food is delicious, it's a clean and modest place. Thank you for the complimentary coffee. You should definitely stop by for dinner.

01/06/2026: We're staying at the B&B Sopramare and the bar has a special deal. I have to say, it was a fantastic discovery! The girls are incredibly kind and helpful, and the owner is truly unique and incredibly kind! Everyone in this city seems to work with passion and love. Congratulations! Excellent food and amazing cappuccino. The view... spectacular! 10 out of 10!

The coffee (which I ordered double) was EXCELLENT. I hadn't found coffee of this quality in years. Well done!
P.S. For those who have never been, table service is €1.

14/05/2026: On holiday for several days in Gallipoli, this is a great little bar to go to for our spritz and lemon tonic. Incredible sea view from the terrace, and a really nice interior. The waiter is great and very friendly, prices are reasonable, I highly recommend it.

I hope to return; the service is top-notch too. If you come to the Cisternino Valley, you absolutely must visit.
