27/10/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday. Everything was excellent, the seafood was very fresh. They prepared fabulous monkfish paccheri. Satisfied with our choice.

26/10/2025: Bar Sofia, in Lecce, has become an obligatory stop for me every time I return to the city. These croissants are, without exaggeration, the best I've tried: always templados, with just the right amount between crunchy and springy, and filled with a generous - very generous - portion of cream pastelera. Here there is no speculation with the raw material. It's a feeling that reconciles with life: good coffee, friendly service and that feeling that good things, when done in conciencia, are noticed. Italian tradition kept in detail. Ultimately: if someone wants to spend the day in an excellent way in Lecce, this is the place. I don't do it: I always come back. Bar Sofia, in Lecce, is a must-visit for me every time I return to the city. Their croissants are simply unbeatable: always warm, fragrant, perfectly soft, and with a generous amount of real custard, made just right. They don't skimp on quality here. It's a breakfast that puts you in a good mood: carefully prepared coffee, a sincere welcome, and that feeling that traditions, when respected, truly deliver what they promise. In short: if you want to start your day off right in Lecce, this is the place. In fact, I always return.

Il servizio è stato puntuale nel rispettare l'orario della prenotazione e soprattutto molto attento nel far mangiare le bambine per prime e insieme, anche se avevano ordinato piatti differenti gesto da noi genitori molto apprezzato. Il misto fritto era davvero buono e leggero. Ottima anche la pizza, anche se personalmente l’avrei preferita un po’ più sottile ma resta comunque ben fatta e digeribile. I dolci sono una vera chicca, consiglio vivamente la millefoglie e il tiramisù, entrambi davvero deliziosi. Servizio gentile, attento e impeccabile. Una serata piacevole Consigliato

14/07/2025: Da tanti anni che andiamo in questo ristorante e ci siamo trovati sempre bene,ma questa sera ci siamo ricreduti.Abbiamo ordinato antipasto mare e terra che doveva essere x due persone ma da come ci è stato presentato non bastava nemmeno x mezza persona ( es. Un pezzetto di polipo di 3 cm può mai bastare x due? e così altre pietanze tutto minimal) .per non parlare poi della frittura di calamari presentata in piccoli pezzettini ( x farvi capire dei mini calamaretti che non sono indicati x la frittura duri e senza sapore).Chiediamo spiegazione al cameriere il quale va in cucina dallo chef per avere una risposta, ma non lo vediamo più. Chiediamo ad un'altra cameriera più esperta che ci delucita sul fatto che loro usano i calamari di piccola taglia in cucina e ci vuole rifare un'altra porzione di frittura ma noi rifiutiamo. Dopo per compensare ci offre un amaro che accetto volentieri. Vado a pagare il conto e mi ritrovo a pagare anche l'amaro . Insomma una vera amara serata.

05/09/2025: Try their SOSPIRO della Monaca, a delicacy, a dedication to the perfection of this dessert, amazing. I've tried this dessert in 4 or 5 other bars/pastries in Ostuni, but none are as good. The pastry was thick, but here it's as thin as a sheet of paper. Truly the best bar/pastry shop in all of Ostuni. Carry on this tradition, you are the strength of those who love good food and things done well.

15/09/2025: If I could give this restaurant 20 stars each for food, service and atmosphere, I would. We were visiting during a local event and even though they didn’t have the space to accommodate us right away, we had just a short wait and they even stayed open to serve us. The food is off the charts incredible. Seriously. The BEST Italian food I’ve EVER had. The Polpetteria were unlike anything I’ve had before and I loved all the different varieties. The owner made sure that our party had PLENTY of food, kept bringing different things to try and it was all fantastic! I’m a fairly picky eater and I ate everything. The eggplant Parmesan was my favorite. I have had a lot of trouble finding it fresh where I live and this was like heaven. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this hidden gem discreetly tucked away in the heart of Corato. It’ll be the first restaurant (and I’ll definitely be back multiple times on my next trip) I visit on my return. Thank you for an incredible experience and for your hospitality La Polpetteria! Also I put down moderate noise because we were a little loud and had a lot of fun. It’s possibly a lot quieter when you don’t have a big group of hungry filmmakers in there :)
