13/03/2026: I celebrated my birthday here a few days ago. I made a reservation for 9:30 PM, and they only seated us at 10 PM after insisting. The evening was nice; there was music and fun. The problem, however, was that my reservation had been booked outside. It was my first time here, so I didn't know if the outside seating was covered or not, but I assumed that since we booked outside, they'd be certain we'd be indoors in case of bad weather. That wasn't the case. The outside seating is completely uncovered, except for the grills for warming up. Obviously, I think the place should be careful to check the weather before booking outside, as there's no cover. As soon as we were seated, we ordered drinks and a few small bowls in the middle. We'd just had time to drink when it suddenly started pouring down: we were under the rain for a good fifteen minutes, until a waiter came to tell us we'd have to move inside. So, we left everything there—the bowls and drinks, the first half-filled—and went inside. The space was very small because people were standing dancing, but they sat us in the back room, with tables and chairs. In the rush and amidst so many people, I lost the candle I was holding in my hand while rushing to escape the rain, pushed by a waitress who was pushing her way through the crowd. I was very sorry for this inconvenience, because the place is truly worth it; it organizes interesting and fun evenings, the atmosphere is youthful, and the food and cocktails are good too. However, the management left a little to be desired. I must, however, thank the other waiters, who were kind and helpful.

15/02/2026: I went yesterday with my group "It's just us." The place was well-kept and clean, the staff were kind and professional; the evening with the karaoke was lovely; the food was good, highly recommended; and we'll definitely be back.

09/10/2025: One of the best places for breakfast. We're on vacation with our three small children and found this place. The service was very friendly and quick. One lady even speaks German—a huge compliment! The food was exactly as described and truly delicious. The pancakes were outstanding, especially the one with yogurt and fruit. Not even that sweet, which we love. Thank you so much for the friendly service, the great Italian music, and the joy you radiate with your work. You can really feel that you run this café with love. I highly recommend coming here.

23/02/2026: Asterisks to indicate frozen dishes on a menu would be mandatory, but here they're omitted. If a customer is asked to cook the meat, it's because it's a red meat; white meats, including pork, must be served well done (HACCP standards). A burger is considered 100% beef; if the meat is different or mixed, it must be on the menu. Pork shank and entrecôte are best avoided; I paid €34 for 300 grams of entrecôte (menu price €7.50/kg).

22/02/2026: I've been to this place a couple of times with my family and we're very pleased: the food is excellent (we tried the sandwiches, capocollo, and the burger (the latter is very popular)), the service is fairly quick, and the staff is very helpful and clear in explaining the menu. The value for money is good. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

26/10/2025: The vegan croissants are excellent! Always helpful and courteous! It's fantastic to be able to enjoy coffee and artisanal croissants in the same place! I hope they'll increase the availability of pre-made vegan cakes over time... for those who, like me, always remember things until the last minute.

20/08/2025: Victory is a must-visit when we come to Puglia to enjoy that magnificent coastline. Owner Chiara is an extraordinary woman who does her job with professionalism and dedication. Her panzerotti, pucce rustici, pasticciotti, and many other gluten-free Puglian delicacies are unrivaled. So gorging on sweet and savory treats until you drop is a must. Thank you Chiara, never stop!! 💪

14/10/2025: Excellent local cuisine. Very friendly service. Arrived for lunch at 3 p.m. Fried rice and pasta for the wife, followed by tiramisu, coffee, and water. Around €50. Excellent value for money. Generous portions. We really enjoyed it. I recommend it.

The dining room staff proved to be extraordinarily well-prepared: a profound expertise that translates into precious, never banal advice, capable of guiding guests toward pairings that enhance each individual course. It's rare to find such an ability to read a guest's desires and guide them with such gentle and expert authority. The cuisine is a hymn to the sea: The raw seafood is touchingly fresh: red prawns and sweet scampi served on ice, followed by a tartare and a carpaccio that are small masterpieces of balance. The risotto is executed with meticulous technique, creamy and savory, enriched with raw shellfish that enhance its texture. The attention to detail is evident right from the bread: artisanal taralli and a fragrant tomato focaccia that, combined with the excellent olive oil served at the table, pave the way for an unforgettable meal. The sweet finish with the millefeuille is ethereal, a cloud of crunch and cream that leaves the palate clean and satisfied. Everything is excellent, in fact excellent. A place where the Michelin Guide is confirmed not only by the dishes, but by the top-notch service that truly knows how to advise and pamper the customer. I will definitely return.

But staying in the "La Solaria" apartment, just steps from the Padre Pio Shrine, with every comfort, complete with everything you need and a warm welcome, and right in the heart of the wonders of San Giovanni Rotondo, felt like we were living for three days, in the warmth of our own home. The kindness, professionalism, humility, and so much more of Mr. Matteo, his children, his father, his brother, his sister, and all the staff—I'd say we felt like family. 23/02/2026: Definitely the best restaurant I stumbled upon during my three-week road trip through Puglia. The service was discreet and efficient, the advice on choosing a local wine was perfect, and the traditional cuisine was delicious. A flawless experience at Taverna dei Domicani.

18/02/2026: Every year I go to Ceglie for about 10 days. For me, Taverna di Domenicani is the best place to enjoy authentic, quality Apulian cuisine. The ingredients are of the highest quality and always fresh. The catch is the catch of the day. The owner is a wonderful person and truly professional. The service is precise, attentive, and meticulous. The location is central, beneath Piazza del Plebiscito, the heart of Ceglie. It's easily accessible on foot. The restaurant is elegant and suitable for a romantic dinner or a dinner with friends. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful. For us, it's our regular meeting place in Ceglie.
