The excellent food is even secondary to the friendliness and kindness of those who looked after us... a pleasant atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Definitely coming back.

10/03/2024: A unique place in the heart of the historic center of Conversano, this medieval restaurant is very welcoming, you really have the feeling of being in a different era. And as far as I am concerned, the surprise was immense when my 700gr schnizeel arrived in front of me on the table!!!! I could not believe my eyes ! Nor my stomach for that matter! Go there and you will be delighted!

05/04/2024: When you want to describe the catering (quality, professionalism, cleanliness, details, and customer care) you have to go to this place on the seafront, very fresh fish, excellent starters, first courses and side dishes, the chef discreetly asks if everything is to your liking, explaining every detail, the service it's excellent, punctual and non-invasive, I've been to several places, this is definitely one of the best, I'll be back

07/03/2024: Very nice winery with excellent local wines and pleasant service. Elisa was very nice and helpful. We were able to spontaneously do a small tasting. A more comprehensive rehearsal is also possible if you register in advance. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Nardò. Thank you!

What can I say, everything is excellent from the starters, the caponata is a delicacy, to the risotto with prawns, sublime... not to mention the roasted bonito, succulent, and the frying? Crisp!!! Everything very fresh and excellent!!! The first dinner where I ate with gusto, nothing was reheated but freshly cooked. Friendly staff and owners always present ready to satisfy any request. Suggestive location on the walls of the old city with its star vaults, in summer also a beautiful view of the sea. If you are in Gallipoli, in addition to enjoying the wonderful sea and the ancient history of the city, from the "Portolano" you can enjoy excellent seafood dishes. Highly recommended!!!

Tonight with the dinner served to us, our taste buds are still celebrating! Thank you Maria Grazia, chef no. 1 in the land of Capitanata, but also outside this border, accompanied by Michele, who knows how to advise diners at the tables excellently, also pairing them with excellent wines.
