27/04/2026: I chose to return to Peppe Zullo, and once again it was a memorable experience. He welcomed us to his Villa Jamele, allowing us to experience something far beyond a simple lunch. The visit to the woods, the stories and secrets of the garden... every moment was a journey into his vision, made of earth, passion, and authenticity. Peppe is a unique chef: friendly, original, and captivating. He captivated and enthused all the bikers with his energy and his way of telling stories. This is my second time back... and I already know it won't be the last. You don't come here just to eat, but to live a true experience. 03/05/2026: We had an amazing experience at Osteria Chichibio in Polignano a Mare. Everything was absolutely delicious — the lobster, oysters, and baked fish were outstanding! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was even better — warm, attentive, and truly top-level. I highly recommend this place. Kamila R.

03/05/2026: What a tourist trap! I ordered a lobster tartare listed at €16 for 100g on the menu, thinking I'd get a maximum of 200g, but the waiter brought me a whole lobster that looked small. In the end, I paid €120! According to them, it weighed 750g, which is ridiculous! I'll never go back and strongly advise you to avoid this trap! The bill came to €300.

12/05/2026: Feeling at home, pampered by the delicacies of the dishes! It's hard to say which was the best, truly a feast for the taste buds. The staff was friendly and professional. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to desserts.

03/05/2026: A pleasant evening, with courteous and knowledgeable staff. Traditional dishes revisited to perfection, a rustic yet elegant setting. A must-try to fully enjoy all the dishes on the menu! We'll definitely be back.

03/05/2026: Highly prestigious, meticulously designed ambience, both in the upper and lower rooms. Very elegant and of appreciable quality in every detail. The bathrooms are spotless and tidy. The dishes are excellent, with fresh, tasty products, both the first courses (the spaghetti is truly special) and the appetizers, such as the parmigiana. The wine list is also very comprehensive. Unfortunately, the only downside is the service. Despite the staff at our table trying to remedy the situation, unfortunately, some of our friends' first courses did not arrive. We urged them repeatedly, but after about 35-40 minutes they finally arrived, but the rest of the table had already finished eating. This is why we no longer ordered second courses. It's a shame, we would have happily come again this evening. They need to reorganize themselves better.

11/05/2026: The true "Agri Turismo of Puglia". We booked in the morning for lunch. The retired father kindly gave us a tour of the farm. From the barn to the table! Set menu: cured meats, cheese, meats, and wine. Just 1 km from Alberobello, a must-try!

03/05/2026: Beautiful restaurant, first class service and impeccable cooking. I can't recommend Antica Osteria La Sciabica highly enough.

03/05/2026: We especially enjoyed the octopus potato starter, but the pastas were also excellent! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with maritime artefacts and has a cozy rustic vibe. Staff were friendly and attentive.

10/05/2026: After a while, greeted by a brisk lady (who served in her usual attire, stepping away from the register), we were placed in a large, welcoming, and clean room. A distinguished and kind gentleman with graying hair and glasses took our orders, explaining the details. So far, so good. The waiter arrived, polite, but... but... when he poured the wine into the glass, he spilled it... not done... OK. We waited an hour, I realized it was crowded, and finally we tasted what friends had been raving about... and here's the rub... the first course, orecchiette, tasted like the mass-produced ones, the sauce was a little... limp, but the flavor was more than decent. Ahhhh the pasta, like linguine with sea urchin sauce!!!!! Help..... they had disappeared, drowned in the oil... but maybe it was the sea urchin-flavored oil... we'll never know. I wanted to ask the cashier or at least tell them to say hello, maybe they were on vacation at the beach... the second course arrives... well, here we go again!! Excellent portion of mixed fried food, BUT... it wasn't good, it wasn't crispy, prepared in a hurry, perhaps not floured well??! Filthy, almost tasteless... there are much better options in less highly rated restaurants... basically, they had no flavor. I went to the cashier, not even asking how lunch went... I wanted to say something but was stopped... I definitely won't be returning easily, much to the delight of the managers. The customer must be "lulled" and not a guinea pig to be given anything, also because you can't make fun of a Salento native. Too bad, the great kindness of the maître (the gentleman with glasses) was not enough to not darken this day. Ah, this is NOT an accusatory criticism, but an opinion that serves as a suggestion to always be more....more!!!

17/05/2026: A historic bar in Polignano a Mare that retains its 1980s style, located on the town's main street. Here you can try the "special coffee," a true excellence. Everything is delicious, even the artisanal gelato.

14/05/2026: It's worth trying the caffe speciale, even if you usually only drink espresso. The gentlemen behind the bar are quick and always smiling; I recommend it!

07/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, overlooking the Savelletri harbor. Exceptional quality, starting with the cotton tablecloth, and beautifully prepared and presented ingredients. Finally, a cover charge worth paying for, an entrée, crudités, and, to finish, cookies and limoncello. Bravo!
