12/09/2025: I finally managed to have lunch at this restaurant with my family. The tasting menu offers a fixed price, perfectly in line with the quality and number of courses. The chef, the host, personally comes to the table to chat with guests, which we greatly appreciated. It allowed us to share ideas and created a convivial and joyful atmosphere. I applaud the use of borage, both fried and parmigiana-style, which is truly exquisite.

Some family members joined me, and I took them to this "little treasure," letting them taste not only the spaghetti cacio e pepe, but also the breaded porcini mushrooms and the famous rib-eye steak... a delicious piece of meat cooked to perfection. Needless to say, the quality of the service and their responsiveness to our requests are second to none. For me, I classify it as an "essential" stop for anyone visiting Salento for a gastronomic experience. Fernando, I'm from Bari, which isn't around the corner. I'll try to convince my wife to stay in your "castle." September 2025 I usually come to eat at this restaurant during the period (late September, early October) when I'm taking my spa treatments. I reiterate my empathy for this place, to Fernando and his staff. This time I had lunch, while the others had dinner, and even though it was almost past 12:15, they gave me the attention a customer notices. They offered me spaghetti cacio e pepe with porcini mushrooms, a Grigglestone cube roll, wine, and a digestif. Price is relative when the dishes are exceptionally flavorful and prepared. I certainly didn't pay cheap, but if you compare the price to the quality of the food, the location, and the service... 03/10/2025: A good hotel with modern amenities. The service is efficient. The rooms are quiet, spacious, and functional. The meals are good, especially breakfast with a wide selection of homemade cakes and pastries.

27/09/2025: It's hard to imagine a more beautiful place for a wonderful dinner. The food itself – mainly fish and seafood – is truly excellent, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The freshly baked, delicious bread is also a real highlight. Add to that the fantastic atmosphere and the attentive service, and you'll have a truly unforgettable experience. But the tables with your feet in the sand are the icing on the cake. We'd love to come back! Grazie mille!

23/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance. Good food (ciabatta with grilled octopus). Charming location. Excellent for a casual dinner with friends.

11/09/2025: I'm expecting a baby and I'm very careful about where I sit to eat! We went to this place last Saturday. We stopped in this pub because we were struck by the charming atmosphere with soft lighting and a view of a square with a cathedral. And we left satisfied! The menu is excellent value, ranging from meat sandwiches to fish sandwiches, to complete meat dishes with sides! Everything was delicious! Especially the fish sandwiches, which unexpectedly were made with the freshest ingredients! The bill? Less than €17 per person, including drinks and cover charge! Highly recommended!

06/10/2025: A pleasant evening with friends in a welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff and excellent pizza with a perfect, very light dough. I highly recommend trying the excellent artisanal spumoni, especially the pistachio one with candied clementines. The chocolate one with cocoa beans and figs is also excellent. Parking is difficult, but not impossible.

You can choose from an "aperitivo" platter with many small portions, a mini sandwich with cured meats, various cold cuts, a small plate of ravioli, eggplant in oil, or a mini salad with salmon and orange. You can also choose from a variety of delicacies, such as a delicious, generously filled fried calzone, or other specialties. Good coffee and creamy coffee. You can also order a brioche with gelato. Very reasonable prices. A pleasant discovery. 2025 is a confirmation: the quality of the aperitivo platter and the friendly service.

14/09/2025: Quality, kindness, and courtesy are three rare traits found in a venue, but at Bar Castrum in Castrignano del Capo, they're a hallmark. We arrived late for aperitivo, which was just closing time, yet the staff greeted us with a sincere smile and great professionalism. They patiently waited for us to finish, never making us feel rushed. An experience worth repeating: we'll definitely be back, and this time on time ;-)

16/09/2025: The pizza is incredibly light, and in addition to the classics, you can also choose from original toppings, with truly perfect flavor combinations. The staff is attentive and friendly.
