Schola Sarmenti In Nardò

Very nice winery with excellent local wines and pleasant service. Elisa was very nice and helpful. We were able to spontaneously do a small tasting. A more comprehensive rehearsal is also possible if you register in advance. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Nardò. Thank you!

Beautiful location, good wine and very fragrant oil

I was finally able to visit this winery that I have known and followed for a few years. During this visit, thanks to Luciana, I was able to learn the philosophy of this company which since 1999 has taken the direction of innovative and qualitative production but always maintaining respect for local traditions (for example with the return to Apulian sapling breeding especially for red grape varieties). This winery produces a wide range of wines but each one has its own history and particularity. Today I had the opportunity, together with the two very talented girls present, to taste some of their "new" products such as Ambáce (Chardonnay and Fiano), Cortices (Fiano vinified Orange), Antieri (Susumaniello rosé), Masserei (Negroamaro rosé) and finally the great classic Viginti, a (dry) wine crazy for its complexity and finesse from dried Negroamaro grapes and in limited production. All accompanied by excellent typical local products (such as cow's ricotta) and the oil also produced by them. Once again this winery was able to surprise me more than positively!

So friendly and nice vineyard and vinetour

Best wine tasting experience we've had. We took the 5 wine option, you can choose your own wines from a menu of about 20 which is a refreshing change. The options include some of their more premium offerings which is a nice touch. They provide many tasty aperitifs alongside each wine. The area where the wine tasting is hosted feels like a cosy, classy restaurant. The wines are delicious, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the experience is exceptional value for money. Grazie!

We had a great time and wine tasting. We are fond of Roccamora from France and for many years. We had the chance to discover much more from this house. Thanks to Denice we had a splendid tour. Hope she still likes Parisians!
