28/04/2026: If it weren't for the time that passed between courses, I would have given everything 5 stars (it was Sunday lunch). The atmosphere was perfect, spacious with a lovely outdoor area created with a planted partition. Welcoming, smiling service. First course: fresh pasta, tonnarelli cacio e pepe with shrimp, the best I've ever had in my life, even better than any Roman restaurant. Second course: shrimp all'diavola, good but too much with chili pepper. Everyone else was very satisfied, as was I. The tiramisu was sublime. I didn't think there was a restaurant like this on Via Imperia.

21/04/2026: Excellent food and fantastic atmosphere

26/11/2025: Meal service for seniors. Not a very positive experience. The containers are often unclean, and the food is not very good and very limited. The first course arrives cold and raw, and not in the dedicated steel container, but in a supermarket tray. Don't expect grand hotel food, but at least decent.

18/05/2026: We had high expectations for La Colombetta, the Tuna Tartare was amazing! However, we were not asked how we would like our filet cooked, and it came basically uncooked. By the time our server came to check on our meal, my wife and I had shared our other entree, and our server was very forceful in that we should’ve asked to have the filet cooked more once it arrived, when it would’ve have been impossible to recreate the dish in the first place, given the sauce. When the bill came, our server exclaimed that our starter, tuna tartare, should have a 20% split charge. Bummed overall by the experience.

13/05/2026: Being vegetarians we booked a table for dining last fall but couldn't cancel it despite enough advance notice. We were advised that it was clearly mentioned on the restaurant website that the 50 Euro deposit (pp) was nonrefundable in the event of cancellation (this should have set off alarm bells) but can only be used for a later visit. Anyway, we moved our reservation to a visit this spring. We were told in advance that we will have vegetarian options available. Unfortunately, both entrees that we ordered (Tagliolini with black truffle and Asparagus gratin and eggs with black truffles) were anything but extraordinary. The Asparagus gratin literally consisted of some shaved truffles and half fried egg laid over some asparagus shoots. So much for gourmet food. The staff was extraordinary in their service but food quality was no where close to the high praise that we had come across in the reviews. Interestingly, we were the only diners in the whole restaurant for a good 2 hours we were there that night!

29/05/2026: Refined, elegant, contemporary, and tasteful atmosphere. Minimalist exterior with equally tasteful touches. Truly delicious food. The dishes are exceptionally balanced; the flavors are evident, yet they all harmonize on the plate. My compliments. The service was professional but lacking in empathy. The price was absolutely proportionate to the quality of the food and the location. My compliments, we really enjoyed it.

20/05/2026: I'm not in the habit of writing reviews, especially negative ones, but in this case, it's a must. Among the dishes we ordered, we also ordered beef with marrow. Once it was served, we immediately pointed out that the marrow was impossible to eat because it couldn't be scratched even with a knife. The waiter went to the kitchen to ask and returned, saying, "I don't know what to say; it's never happened." (Perhaps at least suggesting we change dishes would have been appropriate.) Once we paid the bill, we asked for the price charged for the dish in question and were informed that the full price had been added, adding, again by the same waiter, that he wasn't authorized to offer discounts. In the end, €28 for a simple steak. (I wouldn't have complained about the price if I'd been able to eat the whole dish.) The place itself is nice, but the management really leaves a lot to be desired. P.S. I would avoid using damaged and stained wine coolers just because they're logged in to Ca' del Bosco.

30/04/2026: The food wasn't up to par, with only the lobster being a good choice. Flavorless mussels; bland spaghetti. The waiter was friendly, but the owner was brusque and unpleasant. The atmosphere was nice, old-fashioned, but nothing special.

10/04/2026: One of the best places to enjoy fish, both raw and cooked. Excellent prawns, oysters, and an unforgettable pasta e fagioli. If you want, there's also excellent pizza; the price isn't cheap, but the quality and freshness of the fish are extraordinary. Update The location has also been renovated; it's modern, relaxing, and well-kept. Spectacular upgrade for the raw fish; the grilled prawns are also excellent. Today, in addition to the usual raw prawns, there are two spectacular first courses and three Delta oysters (very sweet).

26/02/2026: A luxury dive I stopped by by chance for lunch with my daughter. We had the perch rice. The worst I've ever eaten. First of all, the perch was breaded with egg and fried in a lot of oil, which then ended up in the rice, which was very greasy and simply boiled, not in Cagnun as it should be. Even the glass of wine wasn't good quality. The charcuterie and cheese platter, however, was good. Furthermore, for the quality of both the service and the cuisine, it's too expensive.

09/05/2026: I've been going there for at least 45 years. A historic Milanese bar near the Crocetta metro station. Delicious sandwiches. It's also a tobacconist.

05/04/2026: We received a Colomba Pasquale as a gift, simply delicious and worthy of a review! It tastes like Pan Strudel, soft, rich in flavors and textures, and balanced. Highly recommended.
